15 years ago, the sky above Tokyo cracked like a mirror and scientists called this Crack "A gate". When japan can't close this gate even with the help of other countries, A gate break occurred and Foreign races appear from the gate and soon many gates started popping out like wild mushrooms, The world fell into chaos, and war against different foreign races break out, Some races were intelligent some were not, but humans were far weaker against each of them.No human weapons worked against them. Millions of humans died in war dropping the population to 1/4th. when humanity lost their hope and Will for survival, they appeared from the shadows Humans who had hidden in the shadows for hundreds of years, people with abilities. 6 families become Armour for human civilization and ended the war by clearing out the gate,

After that awakening with abilities became common and the influence of 6 families increased.

10 years ago worlds 1st black gate appeared in the pacific ocean having a size so big that all 6 big families with other small families united to clear this gate, they called that war "operation PACIFIC" the whole world was in danger the war was against the race "MUGEI", in END gate get cleared at the expense of 15468 deaths, Jason's parents were among them, His father was A+ ranked hunter and his mom was brilliant scientist, Both died in gate leaving Jason alone which made Jason hate himself. Jason was only 9 years old at that time, at that moment he promised to their grave that someday he will also fight for the weak. but at that, he is no one in this big world

Everybody in his class laughed at him, bully him then he met Alice a light in his dark life and his friend Liam during high school.

Alice is also an orphan but her smile calmed Jason, Liam is the son of the WHIRUS family's Head

Jason was a loser but have the luck of having these 2, due to which everybody calls him a Lucky loser.

Jason is not that good looking in comparison to Liam, he has a weak physique, black hairs nothing unique but His girlfriend 'Alice', 20 years old A+ rank hunter, beautiful, tall, black hairs, blue eyes, and sweet voice truly an angel her looks draws the attention of everyone but her ability is more dangerous than her looks.

After their graduation all 3 get awakened, On scanning, they found out that.

Liam thanks to his family genes got awakened to A+

Having all other stats like agility, strength, stamina above 100

Alice -

Age-18

Rank- B

Ability- unique lightning

Having stats 100+

Liam appointed her as vice-captain of his new hunting squad "flying swords"

But,

Jason (age- 17)

He didn't have this luck he was awakened with no ability and stats even below than avg humans. At that moment he saw his promise to his parents breaking, he thought his life will be living hell which makes him feel jealous of his friends but Liam offered him a job in their lab which give him a new way to fulfill his promise, and this job also means that he is under the protection of big family

{currently, they are in the California territory of the WHIRUS family}

But now these people destroyed his dream, his aim of life he can feel his heart beating with fast rate, then he heard gunshots again which dragged him out of his thoughts.

He saw Albert lying on the ground bathed in his own blood, growling in pain. Jason ran toward Albert and hold his wound tightly to hold blood, then jerry came and said.

'This must be the doing of another family, you go inform Liam, I will manage here'

'yeah' replied Jason while cleaning tears from his face.

'Who gave you the orders' asked Jason to the officer polietly.

'international hunters association' replied officer

[International hunters association an organization formed to keep hunters in control, but now it is simply dog of 6 families]

Jason tried to call Liam and Alice both but they didn't respond, then from Liam's secretary he came to know that they are having a meeting in Liam's mansion

' I am coming in 1 hr, and till I return don't even dare to touch any computer or I will make your life hell'

Jason said with a serious face.

Jason goes into a room then returns to the main hall with a bag and left the lab in hurry. When he came outside the lab moon is shining brightly in the sky

Tears are flowing from Jason's eyes, He started the car and drove towards the mansion.

When Jason didn't return even till midnight anxiety of everyone increased they lost their jobs, the fruit of their hard work, and no one knows where Jason is?.

In mansion------------------

The whole room which was so luxurious a few minutes ago is now a complete mess

Broken walls, furniture light source is only a small ball of light floating on a palm of a young-looking man with blond hair, blood-stained clothes, and smirk on his face looking down on a person bathed in blood, one eye swollen, sword sticking in chest holding his left hand that is hanging on his shoulder with just small flesh

' arghh... why did you do this, I haven't done anything wrong' vomits blood. this injured person is none other than Jason.

'hey you are joking right, this is a prank, hey Liam you are also joking right?' he said while sobbing and crying, his eyes are swollen and bleeding.

Liam kicked in his chest.

' are you crazy, you think we are pranking you, haha, you don't know your place, I gave you the choice and you chose this' said Liam while kicking Jason who is lying curled on the floor.

'ahh'

'hahaha.' Liam starts laughing

'I loved you... why did you also betray m…..' Jason asked looking at a girl with blue eyes who is cleaning drops of blood from her face she is Alice.

he still can't believe that both of his friends would do this to him.

'Jason you need to grow up, this world is cruel, ruled by power and you think I will marry someone weak like you at that time I was young and naive but now I know you are just a lowly life on which I wasted my precious time ' replied Alice while laughing

Jason went silent, His face that was showing an expression of sadness, pain is now that of a dead person who has lost everything,The person he is going to marry, a best friend who is more than a family betrayed him, the world he believed to be real now appears imaginary, his dreams shattered all this broke something in him. he realized he was left behind in the race of life.

a wicked smile covered Jason's face

'oh.. power, right you both were my power and now you have betrayed me, what should I do?'

Seeing the smile on Jason's face both Alice and Liam felt strange they thought he went crazy seeing his death

' hahaha man you are so funny, a weak person doesn't have the right to live, Jason' replied Liam

'you thought we are your friends, naahh I am not your friend, for me, you are just a lowly life who must know his place, you think Alice an A+ rank hunter will marry a person like you, don't make me laugh mf, she deserves someone like me' mocked liam.

Blood has now covered the whole floor of the room

'feel proud you are dying by the hand of an S rank hunter if you had only kept your mouth shut and ignored the things you saw here you could have lived, but..... oof darling, kill him and throw his filthy body in some drain'

on one sign of Liam Alice slashed Jason with a lightning blade without showing any hesitation or guilt.

Next second a light covered whole room, this light blinded both and when they opened their eye Jason was not their door was open,

'where did he go, howww?' shouted Liam.

' I think someone from staff helped him' replied Alice.

' I will deal with staff later first find him you bit**'.

The car engine starts and left the mansion.

Seeing this from the window Alice asked.

'can't we leave him alive'.

'you stay here I will handle this myself ' replied Liam while leaving the room and calling someone.

' When will he return, I am giving you the last 30 min' shouted Officer while smoking a cigar.

' where the hell is that mf, jas....…'.

[Explosion]

The explosion was so loud that the shock wave knocked all glasses of building, everybody calmed themselves and ran towards the window and saw huge fire enveloping whole nearby mountains of NEVADA fire was so big that in this dark night light of fire covered the whole city

While they are looking outside doors are flung open.

All present there saw, warrior king Liam and queen of thunder Alice entering, this is their first time seeing Alice face to face till now they have seen this angelic face only on TV then they notice both of them were sad tears flowing on her white cheeks. she is holding something in her hands folded in a towel than she fell on the ground and the towel get unfolded 'A hand' it didn't take them a minute to identify the owner of this hand was Jason his small, white hands and a tattoo of "ALICE" on the wrist.

Everybody rushed towards them, Liam put his hand on Alice's shoulder and said.

' my friend Jason died in that explosion, that mf mugie's killed him, only this hand is left' he started crying.

' we are in another car when they attacked us and his car was caught in an explosion

Jerry felt something strange, he has doubts and wanted to ask but he can't afford the aftermath of making Liam or queen mad so he kept his mouth shut and let his tears flow.

He may show others that he hated Jason but he deeply loved him like a brother and respected him. After the computer was formatted and the lab closed everybody went home except jerry and Albert.

Bullet caused a big wound but with the help of the healer, he gets healed in a half an hour.

They both were sitting in a dark room jerry has swollen eyes because of crying.

'I know something is wrong Mr. Albert, why did Jason go in those mountains if the mansion is in opposite direction to the mountain, why Alice is with Liam instead of with Jason'

Mr. Albert didn't reply.

'NEWs showed that this was mugei's attack, the whole mountain disappeared in explosion'

'i know' shouted Mr. Albert

'I will ask them myself' jerry cried and sprung from the chair.

'stop forgot this, and start a new life.... now get out of this room' Mr. Albert shouted

In darkroom

Mr. Albert lying on a bed

" so they finally killed him, and I failed to protect him'' sob.

"sorry boy".
