Devil's Transformation

The sudden cold wind of the outside sent shivers up his body as he walked out of the truck. There was a decisive glint in his eyes as he moved towards where Kim was.

When he caught sight of her he was amazed by was he saw.

There was lightning all around Kim in the forms of small serpents made of lighting that were spinning around her body playfully. These serpents seemed sentient as they moved in a weirdly coordinated manner which made his head spin.

Kim suddenly twirled her body in a fluid manner and the serpents surrounding her broke off from her and moved to a plastic garbage can lying beside her.

The serpents flicked the garbage can with their bodies and suddenly the can was up in flames as it soon was reduced to ashes and the serpents returned to Kim waiving their bodies slightly as if indicating that they had accomplished the task their mistress had asked them to do.

"I don't know whether to feel fascinated or terrified to be by you after seeing this" Harry said in a laughing manner as he walked up to her.

"I'd prefer if you feel terrified" Kim replied with a smile on her face as she stopped as the serpents made of lighting all merger back into her body.

There were beads of sweat on her brow and her clothes too were soaked with sweat. Training in such a fashion was not that difficult for her considering her military background.

"I have a favor to ask," Harry said in a slightly serious tone.

"What?" Kim asked with an intrigued expression on her face.

"Kill me fast if this goes wrong," Harry said as he suddenly swallowed the mana bead. This might be one of the most idiotic decisions in his life and maybe he might regret this later on but 'sometimes in life, you have to do things that go against all your logical reasoning so as to give you a better edge at surviving'.

Well, that's what he said to himself as he swallowed the bead in a single go.

"What did you do you little shit head?" Kim called out as she rushed towards Harry. Lighting flashed around her body as she used it to move faster towards him.

She had seen him swallow a dark-colored bead right after he said that and if that bead was what she guessed it was then Harry had just done something so stupid that she might just punch him right in his face for his stupidity.

"It was the mana bead left by the creature Jason fought before. I thought let's see if it tastes as bad as it thinks it should do" Harry said with a smile on his face which was soon wiped off his face when he suddenly buckled and coughed out a mouthful of blood. He could feel a raging inferno inside his body which seemed to cause his body to collapse on the inside.

Kim reached him and caught him by his collar and held him up, His head hung lightly as he vomited another big glob of blood some of which was splattered on her clothes.

"Why?" Kim asked in a pained voice.

He raised his head slowly in and looked right in her eyes as he spoke with a smile on his face.

"I can't have my friends risk their lives form me while I look from afar "

"You!!" Kim was about to say something, but she was blasted back from Harry's body.

A blood-red colored mist accompanied with a black colored gas was coming out of every pore in his body and all the area around him was corroding at a rapid rate. All the grass surrounding him had turned grey and lifeless.

Harry on the other hand was in immense pain as his body twisted on his own accord as terrifying spikes of pain shot up across his body.

A strong urge of violence and carnage was overcoming his hind and he was trying his best to control it while he tried to remain conscious during the ordeal.

"Both you and Jason have shit in your head instead of an actual brain." Kim cursed as she got up slowly as her chest was throbbing with pain after being hit hard by the strange mist covering Harry.

The onslaught of the strange mist had been loud enough to wake the others in the truck and soon zombies surrounding them would also come here if they make any more loud noise.

*Aaaaaaaah

Harry screamed out loud as his back was torn up by something forcing its way out from inside his body.

Wings made of the pure back with red veins running all over them burst through form his back as they opened two huge gashes on his back. The blood-red veins were pulsing in a periodic fashion similar to a heartbeat as his wings opened fully creating a terrifying view as his body stared going other Erie changes.

His hair started turning white and a black material started covering his hands as his hands turned into claws made of pure black material with pulsing red veins.

"Shit "Kim said as she called all the lightning inside her body and it turned into numerous serpents coiling around her body.

She flicked her hand forward with a concentrated look on her face as all the serpents made of lighting flashed towards Harry.

As soon as the serpents came close to the mist surrounding Harry the mist started swirling crazily and tendrils of the mist came out to fight the lighting serpents.

The lighting serpents zipped through the tendrils of the mist and they flicked their bodies to break off the tendrils of mist into pieces as they broke through the mist to reach Harry.

A deep booming sound came as the wings on Harry's back came down and wrapped themselves around harry in a protective manner.
