Heartless Wang Family

The wound on his neck needed to be handled by a professional so he went to a local hospital. He didn't want to bother his previous doctor who has to report everything to the family.

The place is large and very clean. As soon as he entered he was asked to present an id and then he was tended to without problems. When the doctor saw the gaping wound on his neck he was shocked.

Who would dare to slice open the Wang family's young Master's neck like this? Is this young man being bullied in that house because he is adopted? After all it is not surprising that a rich family discarded him after exhausting his usefulness.

The doctor couldn't say anything but he gave the boy a strong pain medication so he can sleep while the nurse cleans his wound and covered it with a bandage again. When he woke up a while later the hospital had finished anything.

However what he doesn't know is that a nurse had taken a photo of the wound and sent it to the internet. The entire Wang corporation has been turned upside down with reporters asking questions like

"Is the Want family committing murder now that they have found their real young master?"

"Did the real young master of the Wang family find someone to assassinate the fake young master to cover the actions of the past?"

In the end the shareholders had to decide to give the young master a 3 percent share and ask him to make a public statement to exonerate them of the crime.

When the well rested Kai got out of the hospital, he went to the grocery store and bought many fresh cooking ingredients. He even went to the medicinal market and bought a large amount and requested they deliver it to the hotel.

When he entered the hotel he was greeted by a nervous receptionist but he just smiled closing his eyes into crescents and walked pass a group of important looking people without greeting them. They don't seem very friendly so he decided to ignore them.

When he had just gotten into the elevator the people from the lobby followed him inside and did not press any buttons making Kai uneasy. He hadn't taken a good look at them but they look quite intimidating up close.

When the lift opened he bolted for the the exist but these people followed him and even stood by the door of his place. He can't speak so he finally looked at them seriously.

He looked at the man who seemed like a leader with a questioning gaze. The man had a disdainful expression on his face as if talking to him will be beneath him. These are father Wang, his two secretaries and the young master of the Wang family Wang Chen.

Seeing their unfriendly gazes Kai didn't open the room and just stared at the man. This shows that he doesn't want them in his home.

"Kai open the door. Why are are you keeping your elders in the front doorway?" The old man said with a displeased tone.

Kai has secured a tablet for these type of situations so he retrieved it and wrote. "I am sorry but I can not allow you inside. I don't know who you are."

When father Wang saw the answer he mocked. "You don't know who I am? Are you kidding me? You ...." the man is about to continue when the younger man spoke instead.

"Before you had fever, the doctor had said you were hit in the head with a blunt object. Could you have suffered a memory loss?"

Kai nodded cautiously but didn't say anything else. The father son looked at each other and had a silent conversation.

"This is Wang Yan the head of the Wang corporation and your adoptive father. I am Wang Chen the first young master if the Wang family." He had explained but Kai made no move to open the door.

"We can talk at the hotel restaurant if you want." Wang Chen may only be 16 years old but he can clearly read the weariness in Kai's face. Moreover, there is not an ounce of the resentment or jealousy when looking at him. It's as if he is looking at a stranger.

This new attitude had everyone taken aback. The secretaries are very familiar with the second young Master's disgraceful attempt at winning over the attention of his adopted father and the way he usually behaved outrageous with jealousy whenever he saw the first young master.

This time Kai typed into the tablet. "My apologies but I am full of painkillers and sweat from the road, I am also very tired and would like to rest. Please email me whatever it is you have come here for."

Hearing this, the old man's temper flared up. "You have the guts to dismiss me? The man you have been calling father all this time? How shameless are you? To use my hotel and still ask me to leave you to rest after coming all the way here?"

"I can sleep on the streets if using your hotel is too much for you Mr. Wang. I find myself not very picky about where it is I sleep as long as it won't aggravate my wounds." The cold mechanical tone sounded, the people in the hallway all became stunned.

Wang Yan's eyes became furious. The tension in the air is quite thick. Only father Wang's heavy breathing could be heard. Wang Chen decided to step in again.

"Kai, are you upset that we didn't come to visit you after you had an accident?" He looked straight into Kai's eyes as if to catch any lies in his answer. Kai typed his answer.

"I am well aware of the fact that I an an orphan who was adopted to fool someone and when you returned I wasn't needed. In the past I may have held some sort of feelings for being discarded but I don't have any memories of growing up in the Wang Family.

I only know that I was cut open in that house and no one bothered to check up on me. I am staying because I have no where else to go but I can leave if you people want me to.

So yes, I may have been upset that no one came to visit me but the internet said rich people often treat those useless to them like this so I understood my position. What I don't understand is why you are all here bringing your thick hostility towards me while I haven't come looking for you?"

The place be came silent after the rant. Wang Chen decided to speak. "Then why did you go to the hospital to expose your wound do you want to blackmail money out of us? Heh, even without your memories you're still the same person." Wang Chen sneered.

"Can this get me money too? I just needed a professional to clean and change my bandage. Do I usually get money for such things?" The stupid look on his face made the people around him want to slap his face.

"Why are you pretending? You know very well that if people found out about your attack they will use it as a way to slander us." Wang Yan shouted in anger.

Usually he only had to show up and this boy would relent but he is not sure what will happen after seeing his nonchalance while confronting him today.

"Can you all explain clearly why you came?" Loosing patience, Kai just wanted to go to sleep.

"The internet is condemning the entire Wang family and the stock price had dropped significantly in the past few hours ever since the photo of your wound started circulating in the internet." The secretary couldn't take it anymore and explained clearly..

Boom!

The tablet in Kai's hand dropped to the ground upon hearing this. Something like this happened?
