Dinner II
"Son, why is your mother on the floor?" The old man asked going to call the ambulance.
"I want her dead. Do you hear me? I want to kill the bitch! Butler Bai throw my stepmother out of my house." Wang Yan shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Have you finally gone insane? Throw her out? Son, I know she didn't treat you well but to want her dead is a little extreme don't you think?" The old man went and stood in front of his wife.
"Then take that woman out of my house, NOW!" He shouted startling the two boys.
The butler took the woman out while her husband followed closely behind. He kept looking back only to see his grandson still holding the struggling man in place.
"I hope you will give me a good explanation for what happened here Yan." The old man saw that his son is very angry.
"Are you calm?" Kai asked the man in his grasp.
"Yeah...let me go." The man said and they released him. Internally Wang Yan is seething with anger at the woman.
"Even if I said the properties of the plant, it doesn't make sense for you to take my word for it right?" Kai asked his father but the man has taken out his phone and is calling the pharmacy department.
"Come to my house and bring the herb identifying machine. The portable version."
"What happened when you went for a smoke?" Wang Chen asked giving his father a glass of bourbon.
Wang Yan knows that if Kai can somehow make a miracle medication soup that can somehow make him lose hundreds of pounds in weight in less than a year, what he said about that woman's flower is true and she probably did it on purpose.
She knew that his wife takes care of the garden herself and wanted to destroy his happiness by killing his wife. That evil woman always hated the fact that she was poisoned with infertility drug before his father could marry her.
His father knew of the woman's black heart and knew that she will probably want to have her own kids and take away Wang Yan's inheritance so he made a deal with her yo make sure she will never have children after marriage.
It was cruel but she readily accepted to enter into a rich household. But she was never happy with this matter so she abused Wang Yan as a child and now she wanted to make him have no happy life after moving out.
After taking a large sip, he looked at the place where his wife sleeps. She had been escorted by the staff to her bedroom.
"You'll know soon." He said finishing his glass.
Kai sat on the couch feeling out of sorts being away from home for so long. He missed his quiet home and the silver wolf. He wants to go and continue with his research on the program called battle pet.
Kai went to watch tv. He is not scared that he recognized the wrong plant because that is indeed the lixy greens in the garden and they have been growing for at least a decade.
A while later a group of people went to the garden and it is confirmed by the equipment that the flowers are called lixy greens and their characteristics are exactly what Kai had said.
After knowing what happened and why his father dared to hit a woman, Wang Chen is so infuriated that he also wanted a go at that woman's face as well.
He had always blamed himself all this time that if he was not lost at that time his mother wouldn't have been so sad that she developed a mental illness. It was all that woman's sinister scheme all along.
It was all a plot to drive his mother crazy. He wanted some air so he drove out taking Kai with him. Kai didn't know how to refuse someone who didn't ask for his opinion when he pulled him into a car.
The car stopped in front of a nice club. "I'm 14." Kai protested but is pulled by Wang Chen with a laugh, this laugh sounds mischievous. Kai has not heard his elder brother laugh like this.
"That never stopped you before."
"I don't know how to drive. If you need a designated driver, call someone." Kai went along but advised. He had read the laws that people can be sentenced to jail for driving while under the influence.
They entered and went straight to a VIP section. There is a group already drinking and dancing inside the VIP box.
Chen looked at his little brother getting so much attention probably because of his hair. As soon as they entered all eyes went to the two of them but many couldn't stop looking at the beauty next to Wang Chen.
"Brother Chen, how come you came?" A girl said from the side with a flushed face.
"Eh? Chen, who is this ball of fluffy hair?" Another girl jumped into Kai's arms drunkenly but he caught her as if she weighed nothing.
The boys watched as the girl didn't even pay attention to the fact that she almost fell if Kai didn't have that abnormal strength. She just played with his hair calling it 'candy.'
Seeing she is fine, they all laughed at the girl. She had her legs around his waist as if she will not let go no matter what. Helpless, Kai went to a chair and tried to pry her off himself but is was no use.
He took out a pill while the others were not paying attention and fed it to the girl calling it candy. She ate it obediently and then in less than two minutes she stood up and ran to the toilet.
When she got there she puked on the sink and then she felt sober. She felt completely fine as if she didn't drink too much alcohol a while ago. She rinsed her mouth and then went back looking good as new.
The men are drinking and chatting but the little pink haired fresh meat is still seated where he had been when she left him. She approached him but he gave her a mint as if he knows what she just did. She took a step back.
"What is it?"
"Candy?" He blinked, wondering if he should take it back. She won't believe him after last time.
She looked at it and found that it is indeed mint candy. Remembering she had just puked a storm in the bathroom, she took it and thanked him.
"You're welcome."
"I am not always like that...I mean I don't usually drink." She explained while looking at herself in her small mirror.
"We all have those days."
She smiled at his lack of judgement. "I am sorry for jumping at you like that. My name is Paige. What's yours?" She extended her small hand to him.
"I am called Kai. Nice to meet you."
"So Kai, what's with the pink hair and eyes?"
"Its a beauty product I have. It also makes the nails pink, look." He showed her and she tried to remove the color but it couldn't be done.
"Really? What kind of beauty product is this? Can I get it? Does this mean you can shower with the hair without it losing color?"
"Yes actually. It will stay for an entire month even if you want to change it during that time it won't change back." He said. Her eyes lit up.
"Does it come in black color? What about red?"
"There are other colors."
"Can I buy it? Please..." Her slender warm hand pulled on his slightly muscular arm coquettishly.
"Paige is it? Listen, I developed these myself along with the detoxification pill I just gave you." He smiled and looked at her. She had long black hair and big brown eyes with long eyelashes. She has a pretty smile on her pink pouty lips.
"You made them? Are you like a kid genius or something?"
"I am a genius but why did you say kid?" He narrowed his eyes.
"You look young and something like that detox pill will take a long time to research. Are you not 18?" She asked surprised.
He smiled back at her "I am."
"Well, can I buy it anyways? I don't want to brag but...name your price." She flashed him a proud smile.
"If you take it..." He leaned in to whisper into her ear. "....every hair in your body will be that color...even down there." She widened her eyes and choked on air.
He smiled at her reaction, even laughing when she kept coughing. She had a flushed face. He gave her a light pat on the back.
"That young man has a way with the ladies. How did he make her sober up so quickly?" A red haired 18 years old on the table where Wang Chen is seated commented while pointing at Kai.
"Who is he anyway? Don't tell me you have made another best friend other than me?" Wen Mo said with slight hurt.
"I am not your best friend. He is my younger brother Kai." Wang Chen said sitting back on his chair enjoying his drink.
"I thought he was fat?" Wen Mo asked
"I thought he was 15?" Liu Aang asked talking another look at the young man.
"I'll be dammed it really is him. How did he do it? Lose that much fat in only a few months? How can that be done?" Liu Aang wanted to go ask him but Wang Chen gave him a look.
"My brother is a medical genius. He created the beauty pill that is sold on the market ....that pill is also 60% less potent than the one he made. The real thing will shock you silly." Wang Chen boasts.
"Really? If I ask him for the original pill will he give me?" Linda the red haired who is Liu Aang's fiancé asked Wang Chen with a smile.
"Good luck." Wang just gave her a glance and continued drinking.
"He is pretty." Wen Mo said looking at Kai. His face can be clearly seen from this distance. He looks like a doll.
