If he "smiles bitterly" one more time I'll kill him. The protagonist is such a moron. He really thinks he'll find an easy and cheap way to cultivate in the common library, as if others wouldn't use this if it existed. Of course he "smiles bitterly" after each reading. I just don't like the protagonist I really don't
This is a decent story especially when you consider similar stories. You have a very OP concept in the 'power that contains all things' but has a relatively mild influence on the MC. It is also rarely mentioned or used for anything past the first several chapters from what I have seen. The main good point of the story is that while the MC is fairly OP from the perspective of his peers, there is constant threat of him being strangled in his 'cradle' before he really fully develops. He is always struggling for resources but also finds that his consumption is rather great as well. Now the bad. I realized through reading this story another concept in these Chinese stories that is prevalent and what actually is behind it. The concept where an elder is always telling the jr or protagonist that it will do them more harm then good to know that information, ect.. In reality this is a symptom of China's extreme censorship and information control, as it really not about protecting the individual, but keeping information that could prove problematic to those in power should it be revealed to the masses. Of course China is not the only nation that is guilty of this type of information control, but is probably the most blatant offender.
so the mc is supposedly pretty smart but then does some idiotic things. but, he got better toward the end so there's hope yet. I've read alot of worse CNs. one thing I'd like to say is that so far the old guys in this story rock! their fighting spirit is great lol!!! I'll keep reading once the rest is released.
Pretty good story so far, In my opinion. Down side is that it DOES become Machine translated and not at all translated by a human. You can see this in many cases when dialog is repeated consistently, like " Bullied and Bullied ". <-- Example. Truth be told, It's not to noticeable until they talk about the power scaling and/or some cultivation techniques where the Machine translation fails horribly with those. The only other gripe I sort of have is how even the most basic chapter arcs take 4-6 chapters to get through before we move on, Conversations normally repeat themselves here and there to extend the number of " chapters " involved. In some parts, it's not bad. Adds more details to the story and world building but in some... Like casual conversation... It becomes quite the headache as it drones on and on. Otherwise, Honestly, It's pretty bearable! A great read with tons of updates. Will keep you busy and satisfied, In my opinion.
Mr Translator, a novel written in English for a non-Asian audience, Is it very difficult to use non-Asian names and words?
