15 Saving the World?
The two gods looked at each other as the chaos goddess finished speaking and was already gone.
"You heard, didn't you? We can finally save our world...", said the old man.
"Don't celebrate too much Hephaestus, she said we can only interfere through the girl. I can't think of a way to save the world with just one person... Sigh", said the goddess of wisdom.
Hephaestus stopped for a while and pondered what the goddess of wisdom said, "You are right Athena, if she is the only person we can interfere with, should she die it is all over... Eris probably won't interfere again", Hephaestus said.
"Yes, we should keep an eye on her, inform the other ruling gods of this world", said Athena.
Back in the guild was sitting at the table Lilian, Zyra and Keito talking.
"So you guys don't know when Louise will be back?", asked Lilian.
"We don't know, he just said he had something to do in the royal city and wouldn't be around for a while", Keito replied.
"Why? Would you like to talk to him?", asked Keito.
"I would like to ask if there is any way he can teach me the basics of fencing", replied Lilian.
"Oh! I understand, I would even teach him... but he has quite a few kids to take me out lately", said Keito.
"I have to take care of some things that the guild master asked me to do", said Zyra.
"That's okay, I'll wait for Louise to come back. Ah! I have a question... What's the nam-", Lilian was speaking when she felt a huge pain in her chest.
Lilian spat out some blood and fell to the ground, Keito and Zyra panicked.
"Lilian! What happened?", cried Zyra.
"Call the healers!", said Keito to the people around.
Lilian was writhing in pain on the floor.

Lilian was hearing a voice speaking in her mind, but didn't pay much attention because of the enormous pain she was feeling.
A few hours later Lilian woke up in the guild infirmary and stood up scared.
"What happened?", she asked.
The healer jumped at Lilian's sudden question, "Oh? You woke up!That's great, you had fallen to the ground and started vomiting blood... and then passed out, Keito and Zyra brought you here, But I couldn't find anything wrong with your body... Can you tell me if this has happened before?", said the healer
"I see...", muttered Lilian completely ignoring the healer's questions.
Then she opened her system interface and got a huge surprise.

"What is that?", said Lilian aloud.
"What?", asked curiously of the healer.
"Ah... it's nothing no", realizing she just spoke her mind Lilian quickly diverted the subject.
She was looking at the interface of her system, now completely different from before.
[Hello host, I'm Helaisa and I'll be here to assist you with the system]
Lilian widened her eyes in disbelief, "The system is talking to me? But I have never heard of such a thing...", she thought.
[I can only talk to you because of some external interference]
"External interference? What would that be and wh-?", just as Lilian was about to ask some more questions she heard the notification from her system.

Lilian stared at the message on her system with a scowl, "Uh!? A mission? But systems don't give us a mission... what the hell is this? A game?", muttered Lilian.

"This is too much for me to process... an upgrade in the system? And that only I have, but why?", asked Lilian.
[Just read your assignment. Other information is outside my permissions], said Helaisa.
Lilian did what Helaisa had told her and went to read her mission.
"Uh? WHAT IS THIS MISSION? How am I going to save the world? Difficulty SSS+ and the description is very vague, there is almost no explanation", cried Lilian perplexed by what she was seeing.
[That's where I come in. I can support you with your system and the stronger you are, the more help I can provide you], said Helaisa like an older sister.
"I see... now I'm going to have a speaking voice in my head", muttered Lilian.
[That was rude!], said Helaisa.
"Fine, but I have no idea where to start with this mission", said Lilian.
[This one you can consider your "Final" quest, and also your goal in this world. The system will automatically give you missions depending on the situation you are in, and reward you depending on the difficulty level of the mission], explained Helaisa.
"Sigh... okay, first I need to get out of the infirmary", Lilian muttered.
Lilian didn't realize that sometimes she was talking out loud, and the healer who was in charge of her was startled to see her talking to herself, "This girl... is she schizophrenic?", she wondered.
A few minutes after getting ready and getting her things, Lilian left the infirmary and went to the guild reception where everyone was gathered.
She saw Keito and Zyra joking with Odin who could not accompany Lilian to the infirmary.
Odin soon noticed Lilian's arrival and went flying to her head, "Croac... Croac", he crowed.
"Lilian are you okay? What did the healer say?", Zyra asked worriedly.
"She said there was nothing wrong, you don't need to worry", said Lilian indifferently.
Lilian's nonchalant way of saying things made her even cuter.
"You gave us a huge scare...sigh", Keito said.
"But since you're okay, what do you intend to do now? Louise won't be back for a while", Keito asked.
"I think I'll go and practice my magic skills...", said Lilian.
Lilian only wanted to go see what she could do with this new quest system of hers, since Helaisa said that depending on the situation Lilian is in, she can trigger a quest.
"Oh! The guild is giving a reward to anyone who eliminates the zombies around the vicinity, some not adventurers were going to collect herbs and were attacked", said Keito.
"Right", Lilian said and went to the guild's quest panel.
The mission was a rank E mission that consisted of just taking out some common zombies.
Lilian took the mission and went to the reception desk where Liza allowed her to do the mission and handed her a map with the location, then Lilian left the guild and went to her destination.
After a few minutes walking Lilian and Odin arrived at the entrance of the forest.
Aaaaaaah!
Lilian heard a scream coming from a little farther into the forest and ran to see what it was, arriving there she found a girl about her age fighting three zombies at the same time, it was very evident that she was losing.

Lilian heard the notification from her system and quickly went to look.
"Uh! A mission, I didn't imagine I'd see one so quickly... and the reward isn't too bad either, for just three ordinary zombies", Lilian thought.
Lilian again looked at the girl who still hadn't noticed her arrival, the girl's eyes were watering.
"Poor thing... I'd better help her quickly", Lilian thought.
Lilian then used [Blood Manipulation] activating her [Blood Blades] skill which was now at level two.
Lilian's ability began to suck the blood from the wounds of one of the zombies and turn them into blades.
The poor girl who was trying to survive against the three zombies saw such a scene and was terrified.
"Oh no! What is this zombie doing? Is it an attack?", thought the girl.
"Buaaaaaaaa! I don't want to die!", the girl screamed.
Lilian looked surprised at the girl who was now crying, "I guess I should have introduced myself first... Hehe", she thought.
"Let's get this over with quickly", Lilian murmured, and then with a wave of her hand the blades spread out and went towards the heads of the three zombies destroying them.

The girl was shocked by what happened, a few seconds ago she was in a fight to the death with three zombies, and now the three zombies were dead in front of her, "C-How?", she asked herself.
The girl then started looking everywhere until she spotted Lilian approaching her.
"F-Was it you who helped me?", the girl asked.
"Yes it was, nice to meet you, my name is Lilian", Lilian replied.
The girl bent her back as low as she could, "THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SAVING ME!", the girl screamed from the bottom of her heart.
"My name is Susan, nice to meet you Lilian", Susan said with a beaming smile.
