Keito and Lilian arrived at the guild which was packed with people with all kinds of weapons and armor and went to the reception desk, "Hey I would like someone to heal this girl's wounds."

The receptionist heard Keito talking and quickly turned to look, "Hey Kei- oh my god! Her injuries... what happened?", as Lilian was covered in blood from head to toe this startled the receptionist, she figured all the blood was Lilian's.

"She fought a high level zombie", the receptionist was puzzled by what Keito said.

"H-How is that possible? The guild was not informed of a high-level zombie around here", the receptionist said.

"It's okay, he's dead now", the receptionist heard and gave a sigh of relief, high-level zombies always brought trouble. They were unpredictable, since zombies weren't intelligent they couldn't use the system, so the system gave them a random evolution according to everything the zombie did in its life.

If a zombie was in a place with a lot of water, such as a swamp, the system would give it an evolution that suited the place.

In case the zombie was intelligent, they could control its system and select their own evolution, but intelligent zombies were extremely rare.

"Sigh... great, did you kill it? We will hand out a reward", the receptionist asked, however, Keito denied it.

"That's the girl who killed him", he said pointing at Lilian.

"Oh yes, sur- WHAT?", all the people present looked at the reception desk after hearing the receptionist's shout.

"Are you telling me that this girl killed a high-level zombie?", the people who were paying attention to the conversation quickly started talking about what they just heard.

"This brat is just trying to show off. Someone needs to teach her a lesson!", and more, and more conversations on the subject unfolded around the guild.

The receptionist went to Lilian and said, "Little girl, pleasure my name is Liza, you can't go around lying to people! It's a very ugly thing to do that".

Keito hears what Liza was saying, "It's not a lie... I was there, she possesses a magic that I have never seen, so I decided to bring her here to be healed and to sign up for a test to join the guild, a person at her age that can fight a high-level zombie has a huge potential", all the people hearing Keito's proof were shocked, he was well known around here and no one would doubt him, if he said he saw it then it was true.

"A-All right, then I will call someone to heal her and get her in line for the test", Liza quickly left.

As Liza went to get someone to heal Lilian's injuries she stopped by the guild master's office and told them what happened.

"All right, allow her to take the test if it is a lie about this mysterious magic, we will find out there", said a short old man.

Elsewhere in the guild was Lilian when a healer arrived, "Miss Lili- WHAT THE HELL!", she saw the state Lilian was in covered in blood and got a huge fright.

"Cof Cof... all of this blood is not mine, everyone else is having the same reaction? It's not like I would be alive if I had lost all that blood...", said Lilian indignantly.

The healer turned red with embarrassment at what Lilian had said, for, it made sense if she had really lost all that blood she would probably be dead now.

The nurse came close to Lilian and spoke softly, "Healing," a warm green aura invaded Lilian's body and began to slowly heal her wounds.

After the healing was complete Lilian sighed with relief and asked, "Is there a bathroom around here? The blood is starting to dry...".

"Ah! There's one, in the guild itself, you can use it if you want... it's just over there", the healer replied and pointed to the spot.

"Ah... I didn't bring any clean clothes", she said with a slightly sad look on her face.

"You don't have to worry about that. We can wash them here and dry them with wind magic in no time", hearing what Lilian said the healer quickly cheered her up.

Lilian ran to the bath house and stayed there until all the blood and dirt was all cleaned out of her body.

"Sigh... Nothing better than a relaxing bath", Lilian muttered.

Passing through the hallway Lilian went back to the guild reception where all the people were crowded around and talking. All the people shifted their gaze on her and her exuberant beauty, previously when she came to the reception she was covered in blood and you could hardly see anything, now that she was clean and showing all her beauty and cuteness.

"Kyaaaaa! THAT FABULOUS!";

"Oh my god I want to squeeze those cheeks until they explode!";

"Come here little girl, sit with auntie", several women at the reception freaked out when they saw Lilian's cuteness and innocent appearance.

"Hey little girl, why don't you come over here and keep me company", said a fat man sitting down drinking a beer.

All the women who were delighted with Lilian's beauty turned to the man who just said that with blood-injected eyes and a huge murderous intent fell on the man.

"Do you want to die, you son of a bitch? She's only 12 years old!" said a lady who was sitting behind the fat man, she got up and moved next to the man.

"Mind your own business you bitc-", before the man finished speaking the woman touched his shoulder and it was as if the world had lost its colors for him, the enormous pressure the woman emanated choked the man who started coughing up blood.

"M-My Father will hear about this!", the fat man said as he ran out of the guild.

"Little girl, don't mind him, he's just another nobleman causing trouble... My name is Zyra nice to meet you", with a kind smile on her face the lady from before greeted Lilian.

"Tch, how cliché... Typical fat nobleman causing trouble and what comes next? He brings an army to seek revenge. This is starting to sound like the soap operas of my old world", Lilian thought after watching the scene unfold.

"Hi, my name is Lilian, it's a pleasure to meet you too!", Lilian greeted her and bowed, "Thank you for before", Lilian exclaimed.

"Hahaha, it's okay, don't worry about it it's not the first time that fellow has caused trouble... No one here in the guild likes him", everyone who heard what Zyra had said nodded in agreement.

"But be very careful, he is quite petty and has a habit of looking to go after the weaker ones in search of revenge... since he can't come after me, he will probably take his frustration out on you, so anything you can look for me here in the guild!", Zyra said as she pouted at Lilian.

"Haha... as if I didn't already know that...", Lilian thought.

Lilian just nodded her head to Zyra. A few minutes later Keito appeared.

"Lilian I already talked to the guild and they will give you your reward, could you come with me?", said Keito and Lilian followed him to Liza.

"Done Lilian... You are already enrolled in the next guild member selection now you just have to wait, and for your reward please come this way", Lilian listened to Liza and followed her to the back.

"Here are 3 gold coins and a sword for you... I know you are a mage, but Keito insisted that you might like it", Liza handed the sword and coins to Lilian.

Lilian was a little confused about how the economy worked in this place since it was the neighbors who took care of her and she didn't need to buy anything.

"Can you explain to me a little about the coins?", asked Lilian with a puppy dog look.

"Omodesu¹ of course I will explain", exclaimed Liza as she began her explanation.

"There are levels of coins with the lowest being bronze, 10 bronze coins make one silver 10 silver one gold and 100 golds, one platinum, one gold coin is enough for a family to live well for 1 month".

"Oh! I see so my reward is quite generous by the looks of it...", Lilian was surprised. 3 gold coins were enough for a family to live well for three months.

"Well... usually people take high level zombie extermination missions in groups and the reward is debt between them, in case Keito insisted that all the reward go to you since you had almost all the contribution in the zombie slaughter", Liza explained.

Lilian thanked Liza and Keito, took her sword and went to check it by activating [Evaluation].
