8 Chapter 8 Personal World

Looking at the grey ring on his finger,

Jack contemplated the world inside and found himself in an inexplicable space, gazing at a small floating planet, approximately 10 km in diameter.

Above, there was a rotating sun, and below, a moon, along with sea, forest, and a complete ecosystem. "Well, it's small but enough for living. I'll call you Fate Ring since your name is unknown," Jack named it, since, it was unknown.

Returning to his villa, Jack looked at Luna in the container through the camera.

He walked in front of her, checking her eyelids, tongue, ears, and nose, everything were clear. Sighing in relief, he removed her restraints, picked her up like a princess, and placed her inside a room in the castle.

After inspecting the bound livestock cubs and noticing a few with red eyes infected, he killed them one by one, sparing the clear-eyed ones. Jack then threw them inside the Fate Ring, then sea life eliminated the infected ones, and other fish thrived in his exclusive world lake.

"It's time to put away these containers," Jack remarked, eyeing the stored containers in front.

"Also, Outside i can use my abilities in a ten-metre range, which is enough to put away these containers,"

Jack stored the containers one by one inside the ring. After storing a hundred containers, he felt exhausted. With 26 more containers left, after a brief rest, he hurriedly stored them away.

"I don't have much time." Observing the clock reading 2:30 O'clock midnight, with just six hours until every living thing evolved, including some talented creatures evolving early and infected night walkers and crawlers transforming,

Jack had four hours left before 6:00 O'clock in the morning to prepare everything.

He appeared inside the ring again, and as he looked around, information flooded his mind. "I can edit and control anything in the ring. If that's the case," he pointed at the containers' area, and suddenly, time stopped around those containers.

"Like this, I can preserve everything inside."

Jack's eyes lit up, he picked up a glass and broke it. Attempting to reverse time around it, the broken pieces flew back, and an intact glass appeared in front of him.

"I can do anything in this exclusive world, but I have to see the limit of my powers outside the ring," Jack checked other abilities, then pondered, deciding to check them outside later.

Observing the containers still fixed in time, he glanced at the watch, it was 2:38. It seems the setting I set inside the ring world will become permanent.

After taking a rest,

Appearing outside in the castle,

Jack gathered the weapons he had manufactured earlier and placed identical weapons made from different metals inside the ten boxes. He clicked on Synthesis and Evolve, noting the timer on the synthesis option below, which now showed a remaining time of 10 minutes. "My synthesis time limit also reduced to 3 hours from 24 hours. Is this the benefit of awakening my talent fully?" he wondered.

Jack then walked to a warehouse, storing old tanks, infantry vehicles, military trucks, ammunition, and weapons inside the ring's separate area.

Appearing in the garage, he stored various types of vehicles, including RVs, minibusses, electric and diesel energy vehicles, and bikes, leaving the huge garage empty.

Surveying the empty castle area and checking the time on his clock (3:03 O'clock), Jack decided it was enough. "Let's synthesis my exclusive weapon,"

he thought.

Observing the ten different weapons made from various metals inside the boxes, he clicked the Synthesis and Evolve button. The boxes merged, presenting an umbrella in front of him within a single box.

**Thousand Face Umbrella**

- Level: C

- Function: Can transform into any type of close and range weapon.

Staring at the black metallic umbrella in his hand, Jack was surprised. As he grabbed the handle and felt the metallic textures of its cloth above, he noticed a rotating ring just above the handle with different weapon designs.

Rotating to the bow design, the umbrella's clothes melted with the body, mechanically changing its shape into a stylish bow. Putting an arrow inside, retracting it, and shooting the arrow toward the sky, Jack felt admiration at the disappearing arrow.

Turning the ring to select a crossbow, the bow mechanically shrouded Jack's arm toward his shoulder, revealing a mechanical crossbow on his left arm and an arrow storage box on his shoulder for rapid crossbow attacks.

"It is attached to my arm, very convenient," Jack marvelled at the advanced mechanism. "So this is the result of evolution in my exclusive talent, which I didn't have previously."

"Well, check my abilities. Will it work with this crossbow?" Aiming at a tree far away, an ice arrow condensed inside the crossbow.

*Tsk!*

Passing through the tree and behind another, the arrow evaporated due to friction, leaving a frozen hole inside the tree.

"It seems I can stabilise my abilities within ten metres. After that, it is difficult to control and will be weakened."

Surveying the evolving and growing trees with roots spreading everywhere,

Jack recognized that while many trees weren't dangerous, in those forests, trees still remained one of the top predators in the end of the world.

"This is the start of destruction. Humans were the supreme race of this world, with a population of more than 200 billion. Overnight, only 10 million survived. Seven years later, only ten thousand or so humans were left. But that shadow,"

Jack frowned, "the most horrible thing is not the Apocalypse, but that shadow that unleashed the end upon this world."

"I have only seven years, maybe less." Jack sighed thoughtfully,

Jack appeared inside the Castle, exhausted. However, upon seeing Luna sleeping peacefully, all his exhaustion disappeared. He appeared on the bed, hugged her, and slept peacefully, thankful that she hadn't transformed into those monsters.

After two hours, at 5:40 O'clock, Jack opened his eyes. Seeing Luna awake, he smiled, "Good morning."

"Husband, you must tell me everything before. Don't ever endure everything yourself," Luna said seriously, looking at him. Then she asked timidly, "Did the world really end?"

Jack nodded solemnly, "This morning, on the 10th of January, humanity will face the unimaginable reality."

"I am going to take you somewhere," Jack said. Luna nodded quickly. Suddenly, both disappeared and appeared in front of a hill. Luna was surprised, looking at the rising sun on one side, along with the lake and trees around. She observed everything curiously, "Husband, what is this place? It's small."

Jack smiled and replied, "This is my exclusive talent. This world is my exclusive world. Let me show you something interesting."

Jack pointed at the hill in front, and suddenly, a castle emerged from the land, identical to the one outside. Luna's mouth was wide open, looking at the castle.

"Well, this is just the beginning."
