1 Prologue

Kai's life at the university was pretty bad, to say the least. He had decent grades, but not that great to be comparable to the nerd group.

His athletic skills were a joke. The only thing he could do was run, but that was due to his skinny physique.

Everything was going downhill when Kai also realized he did not want to follow the profession he was studying for.

"Nothing makes sense! Fuck, I hate this shit, I hate my life!" thought Kai as he punched his pillow non-stop.

"Relax, bro," a tall, muscular man with a football jacket said. "I'll be returning late, so don't you freak out when I get back."

The young man was Li Shi, Kai's roommate. Li Shi was the typical guy who was incredibly good at sports and was handsome too, always getting the girls and going to the best parties in the university.

He was leaving precisely for that party. Kai and Li Shi were good friends, though.

"Sure, just don't come back bringing ladies. I want to sleep, you know?" Kai said, jokingly.

"I know, I know." Li Shi slapped Kai's shoulder and said, "I'm going to fuck the girls in the bathroom; don't worry."

When Li Shi left, Kai was alone in his bedroom, and that was the perfect time to test something.

For the past two months, Kai has researched mystical ways to make his life better. Deep down, he knew that was not the right way of doing things, but Kai saw no other way around.

"It's not like this is going to work, right?" Kai thought as he started to prepare a ritual.

The first thing he did was cut a few specific spices and put them in a bowl. He also placed his watch there—his most valuable asset.

Then he placed the bowl in the middle of his bedroom, drawing a strange circle around it, making the symbols he had seen on the Internet.

After everything was done, it did look like a proper ritual, but Kai was not convinced it would work. He was not the type of person who believed in the supernatural.

The worst part was not preparing the ritual but saying the phrases aloud and with intent. That was the worst thing Kai had ever done.

"Oh, Goddess of Lust, bless me with unfathomable charisma and sex appeal, and I will make you proud."

"Oh, Goddess of Lust, come to me, as I am alone and I have paid the price."

Kai kept saying some of the phrases he had seen in a forum—one that he had searched deep to find—and nothing happened.

It was only him, inside a dark bedroom, saying strange chants in front of a bowl, with candles around him.

"Fuck, this is not working!" Kai cursed.

At that moment, his window opened, and the curtains flew with a powerful wind. Kai got up and closed the window, thinking, "Just the wind."

But when he turned around, he saw someone. It was a gorgeous lady wearing a dark dress, showcasing her slender legs and her bust. She had dark hair, two horns, and wore glasses.

"A hot teacher!" Kai muttered.

The woman, who was right in front of the bowl Kai had prepared, laughed, "A hot teacher? I thought you were calling for the Goddess of Lust."

"W-What? So it worked!" Kai said, a shock visible on his face.

A ritual that looked silly. A ritual that he found on the Internet. A ritual that worked. Kai was never expecting it to work, and now that it did, he had no idea what to say or do.

"Are you saying you're going to give me some gifts? Will you please help me?" Kai begged.

The Goddess of Lust picked up a chair from his room and sat on it, staring at Kai. Kai could not help but look at her legs. She was not wearing underwear, so when she sat on the chair, Kai could see her intimate parts.

She stared at him for a whole minute without saying a word. It was like she was staring deep into his soul, trying to decide if she would help him or not.

"Yes, I can give you my gift, a special one. A shop system where you can buy all sorts of things. This might be quite useful for you."

"A shop system? But can't I just work to buy things? Why would I need a system like this?" Kai asked.

For him, the gift she wanted to give him did not make much sense. He was studying his ass off, trying to be rich in the future, so a shop system did not appeal to him.

The Goddess of Lust chuckled, "In normal circumstances, yes, but the thing is, you are kind of screwed. I mean, not like your fellow humans because you have my gift."

"Screwed?"

Kai was not liking the course of the conversation.

"Yep. A zombie apocalypse will start in twenty minutes. Cool, right? Many will die, and the world you know will seize existence."

After hearing that, Kai started laughing out loud. It was the only thing that came to him at that moment.

"You are joking, right? A zombie apocalypse would mean the death of humankind."

"Yes, that's exactly what I am saying," the Goddess of Lust said as she played with her hair. "But there are good things in all of this. The gift I am willing to give you lets you buy things to use during the apocalypse. You can even buy the cure, so the zombies won't be a problem for you."

Kai was starting to believe in what she said, and he visualized the apocalyptic zombie world where he had a gift to buy food, water, weapons, shelter, and even the cure. Wouldn't that make his life much easier?

"Let's say you are telling me the truth. Is there a way to stop this? Is it only happening because I did this ritual?" Kai asked.

"No. It will happen, no matter what. You are just lucky to be speaking with me before all of the shit. So, what do you say? Are you willing to accept my gift?" The Goddess of Lust asked.

"I am not naive," Kai said. "What's the catch with this? A gift so useful in the apocalypse will certainly have a price."

"You are right. The thing is, for you to earn the currency to buy things in my shop, you need to fuck some girls."

"W-Wait what? I am not at this! I never did this! But why is this a bad thing anyway?"

Kai could see getting coins being a problem, especially during the apocalypse, but that shouldn't be problematic considering the benefits the shop system would grant him.

The Goddess of Lust smiled and said, "If you don't fuck someone before the timer runs out, you will die. Also, you know what? I won't even bother waiting for your answer. The gift is yours, and remember, I will be watching the apocalypse with the other Goddesses, and each one has its own champion. Please, don't lose."

She suddenly vanished, and Kai was there, inside his room, in a state of shock. A system page appeared to him, and his eyes could not stop looking at the timer.
