The sun slowly rose from the horizon, its dazzling light shining directly on everyone's faces. The crowd went from surprise to terror, and finally to horror!
Where they were didn't resemble an industrial zone at all, but rather a series of flat, empty spaces closely packed together.
Every building, boundary wall, even the traffic lights at the crossroads, and the vehicles parked along the roadside had all vanished!
Most bizarrely, on the distant empty land, one could see clusters of stark naked bodies. Men, women, the elderly, and children of all ages were there, predominantly young people, all lying on the ground.
"Does your company run a bathhouse? An open-air one at that?!" a middle-aged woman said disdainfully.
"What bathhouse? I run a factory, and there's my corporate headquarters too, a landmark building. How could all of it be gone?!" Norris was completely dumbfounded.
The other survivors were equally baffled.
