Now It's Mine!

The basement was clearly renovated, and although it couldn't compare to a standard shelter, it was barely habitable.

Sam walked in, looked around, and noticed that people had already spotted them. Seeing the gun in Sam's hand, their expressions changed slightly, but no one spoke up.

"Get everyone out here!" Sam demanded.

Hu Shan trembled, nodded, and shouted a few times.

Initially, the people in the room didn't want to come out, but as Hu Shan called them out by name, they had no choice but to walk out, glaring at him fiercely.

After everyone came out, Sam coldly said, "Is this all of Long Ge's people?"

"Yes! The rest are from the supermarket shelter," Hu Shan nodded obsequiously.

Sam pondered for a moment, then ordered Long Ge's men to kneel on the ground before turning to Wang Quan and saying, "Tell me, what happened."

"Okay..."

Wang Quan, feeling guilty, immediately explained everything upon being asked by Sam.

It turned out that Long Ge and his people had usurped the place!

Originally, the supermarket's owner had hired Wang Quan's boss to build a shelter, but halfway through the construction, news of a meteorite came, forcing the supermarket's owner to hastily finish the construction, prepare supplies, and take refuge in the shelter.

After the meteorite fragments hit Heyang City, the shelter was affected, but fortunately, the damage was minor, and no one died.

Long Ge and his people were originally from a local gang. The aftermath of the meteorite fragments destroyed their shelter. Wang Quan was originally hired by the supermarket's owner for construction, to finish the unfinished parts.

However, upon arriving, he was attacked and captured by Long Ge!

His daughter was just helping out here, but she became a weakness, threatened to work for Long Ge!

The news about Sam's shelter was also revealed by the supermarket owner, which Long Ge forced out of Wang Quan.

After listening, Sam nodded slightly and asked around. Long Ge's group wasn't large, with only five or six men in the basement, apart from those outside.

Yet, these five or six men managed to suppress more than twenty people!

You should know, Long Ge and his few men didn't have any guns. Being suppressed like this only goes to show that these people lacked any fighting spirit.

Of course, this had nothing to do with Sam! Knowing that only Long Ge and his men were targeting him made things much simpler.

Sam first knocked out several of Long Ge's men, including the injured man, then decisively executed them in front of everyone with a crossbow, killing several.

Such ruthlessness immediately terrified the group, who trembled and looked at Sam. Wang Quan was especially frightened, thinking Sam was going to kill him next.

However, Sam paid him no heed and instead turned his attention to the storage room of the basement!

As the supermarket owner's stronghold, the storage room was filled with a large amount of supplies!

Sam knocked on the door and said in a deep voice, "Come over, help me move stuff!"

"In the garage to the left of the supermarket!" someone answered.

Hearing this, Sam immediately took him to find the car.

The garage was enclosed, but the iron door had been warped by the heat wave. Sam kicked it open with one foot.

Inside the garage, a slightly damaged minivan appeared before him!

After checking, Sam found that the minivan had been affected by the heat wave but was still drivable, estimating it would be unusable in a couple of days.

Sam then drove the vehicle out, ordering the people to load the supplies onto the minivan!

Due to the circumstances, he only transported a portion, leaving the rest in the basement for next time.

After Sam drove away, the crowd immediately became agitated. Some suggested fleeing to an official shelter, while others cursed and suddenly became bold.
