Henry could see hidden information: [It seems this boss has a wound on its back, attacking there could cause triple damage!] [Something might be buried under that big tree ahead? Digging it up could reveal a surprise!] [This lake seems extraordinary, fishing here might yield a surprise!] [This dungeon appears to have a hidden level with even more powerful monsters inside.] While everyone else cautiously explored this unknown world, Henry was already dominating the apocalypse, defeating the world's master, and ascending to the throne.

Now This is a Zombie Tide

The speed of the zombie tide was faster than Henry had anticipated. He thought they would arrive by noon, but they showed up early in the morning. Henry had placed a [Laser Trip Mine] about a kilometer away from the edge of the trap as a warning. Luckily, he had stayed here overnight. Otherwise, he would have missed the most thrilling part!

Henry shook himself awake and opened a bottled coffee, drinking it down in one go.

"Let's get to work!"

Snow didn't know what was happening, but seeing Henry's fighting spirit, he too became excited.

"Woof-woof~"

Snow barked, and together, the man and his wolf stepped out of the villa. Casually, Henry stored the villa into his ring to avoid any damage during the fight.

A kilometer's distance would take 7-8 minutes for zombies to cover under normal circumstances. However, the recent explosion had surely spiked their excitement. If they charged at full speed, they would probably reach the trap's edge in about 3 minutes.

Henry positioned Snow at the northern end of Yogyu Bridge.

"Snow, you stay here!"

Snow wagged his tail excitedly at Henry, perhaps understanding his command.

Henry then summoned his armed mech. With a light jump, he entered the cockpit. The battle pod slowly closed around him.

"Let's go!"

Henry operated the mech to leap forward, then ignited the rocket boosters.

Whoosh!

A burst of blue flames shot out. The armed mech surged towards the sky, the powerful inertia pressing Henry against the seatback.

Hiss... this sense of thrust...

The new armed mech was different—full of power!

Soon, the mech flew to the very front of the trap, landing on a rooftop. Just as he stabilized...

Henry felt an unusual vibration. It wasn't just the mech shaking; the whole building, the entire street was trembling.

Even the cars parked on the street were trembling slightly, as if they were shivering in anticipation of the upcoming storm. With a crack, a flower pot on the balcony of an old residential building fell to the ground and shattered.

Then, an uncountable number of zombies appeared. Dense crowds of zombies surged like a tide, shoulder to shoulder... Moaning, scrambling, they burst from the concealment of the buildings. The terrifying growls of countless zombies merged into a continuous roar.

The cars stalled on the road were like rocks in the tide. Except... this was no ordinary tide, and the cars were not real rocks! One zombie was blocked by a car at the front. Before it could react, it was knocked down by the wave of zombies surging from behind. One after another climbed over the car, rushing from the roof to the rear.

One, two, three... Countless zombies trampled over the sedan. Before long, the small car was flattened nearly to the ground, completely erased from Henry's view.

Countless zombies crazily advanced along dozens of streets, sometimes merging into a torrent, sometimes dispersing into narrow alleys as tributaries, sweeping over everything on the road! Crawlers, numerous as fleas, leapt around within the zombie tide. Slow-moving Venomous Creature Breeders were almost pushed along by the ordinary zombies. The numerous and massive Behemoths, though formidable, were not so conspicuous in this surging tide of the dead.

"It's time!" As the vanguard of the zombie tide reached the edge of the trap, Henry pulled out the electromagnetic cannon of the armed mech. With ammunition and energy supply ready, why hesitate? Start with a showstopper!

Zzzzz... The sound of electromagnetic charging began. As the pitch of the charging sound climbed higher and higher, becoming increasingly shrill, bursts of blue light tinged with electric sparks started to gather at the muzzle of the cannon!

Crackle!

A fierce bolt of lightning shot out from high to low, striking with the ferocity of divine retribution from the heavens.

Boom!

Crackle-crackle~

The massive current snaked and stretched out, hitting the Behemoth directly. Countless currents radiated from its body, spreading through the surrounding tide of zombies.

Crackle... whoosh~

Ordinary zombies simply couldn't withstand such a current. And they were too densely packed, one right next to the other. In an instant, hundreds of zombies twitched a few times, then stiffened and fell down. Before their bodies even hit the ground, they turned into wisps of white mist and disappeared on the spot.

Just one shot!

It created a vacuum around the Behemoth, blasting a clear space in its immediate vicinity. The tide of zombies paused briefly, but soon, they filled in the void with their screams.

"Roar~~"

The Behemoth, having spotted Henry on the rooftop, roared in anger. A large portion of its chest was charred, but it was not yet dead.

[20% of Behemoth's body tissue has been destroyed... An additional 10% damage is required for a complete kill.]

"No worries, let's do it again!"

Henry, holding the electromagnetic cannon, began to charge up once more.

Zzzzz...

Boom!

Another lightning-like current struck, piercing through the Behemoth's body.

Kill confirmed!

The Behemoth's body, along with hundreds of ordinary zombies around it, turned into mist and dispersed into the air.

Awesome!

That was the most satisfying Behemoth kill yet!

However...

Such an attack on the zombie tide was like throwing a large stone into the ocean. It momentarily created splashes, but was quickly overwhelmed. It was as if nothing had happened at all.

The cleared area on the road was once again filled with zombies, surging forward. The electromagnetic cannon had fired twice consecutively, and the barrel was now glowing red. The mech's system also indicated that the weapon was overheating and could not be used again for the time being.

Boom!

Boom!

Deafening explosions followed from behind Henry.

He knew that the zombie tide had circumvented other roads and had already charged into the trap area. Henry casually sliced through the body of a Crawler that had climbed onto the rooftop, attempting a stealth attack. Then, he leaped upwards, hovering in mid-air.

Squeak-crack!

The rocket launchers on his shoulders popped out.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh whoosh!

Dozens of rockets plummeted down towards the zombie tide below.

Rocket barrage!

The entire street was engulfed in the terrifying force of the rocket explosions.

Boom~~ Rumble~~

The loud noises echoed continuously among the buildings.

Countless windows shattered in response.

Waves of heat from the explosions lifted the ordinary zombies high into the air near the blast radius.

Then they slammed heavily onto the ground.

Some zombies were unlucky.

Landing headfirst, they instantly turned into wisps of white mist.

The street below was a chaotic mess.

It was hard to tell whether the dust was stirred up by the rockets or was the white mist from countless dying zombies.

But before the smoke could clear,

an uncountable number of zombies, drawn by the explosion, rushed towards the street corner, scrambling to get in.

Again, it was a dense mass...
