Phoenix Chronicles
In the realm beyond this world, there's a tale of a man and a woman that has been passed down. From my place outside that world, I once believed it did not truly exist. I simply fantasized about being able to visit that place and become the heroine of that story. Do you know? Eventually, I did. I truly became the heroine for a moment... That world was real to me. However, later on, I returned to the time and space I'd always known. No, actually, I don't think I returned to the exact world I once knew, because everyone now thinks I've gone mad.
Has that world vanished like Atlantis? Or did it never exist at all?
Impossible! When one travels through different parallel worlds on their own power, there shouldn't be such vast differences!
Tick-tock… Tick-tock… Time shifted three times, space shifted twice, and I, once lost my way.
When I realized I was actually imprisoned in a colossal cage, where souls from various planets were thrown into. The collision of diverse spirits created breathtaking fireworks.
Yet, just like fireworks, they were fleeting and pitiful...
At the moment of physical death, the dazzling display vanished without a trace, evoking sighs of lament.
But all these spirits need not worry. Memories may be erased, but the soul remembers, for it is eternal and indestructible.
