7 Chapter 7

Sophia opened the door of her room and pulled her little suitcase out with her while humming a soft little melody under her breath.

"Sophia, where are you going?" Lisa couldn't help but question her as she saw her entering the living room.

"My sweetie invited me for a two-day trip," She explained, all happy as she approached the couch and grabbed her cell phone which she had left there.

"Oh! Really? Well, that means that the jerk will leave for a while then. That's good to hear." Lisa spoke nonchalantly as she left her bag on the floor, having just returned from her classes then suddenly Dimitra's room opened and she came out with some baggage too, making Lisa raise an eyebrow.

"Well, what about you Dimitra, where are you going?"

"With Sophia, Shiro invited me too, and since it's all paid, I said, why not," Dimitra explained to her while sliding her suitcase to the front door.

"Seriously?! You are gonna leave me alone for two days. What great friends." Lisa couldn't hide her displeasure at the fact that basically, they were going to have fun without her so she crossed her arms above her chest as she staring at them displaying her emotions before she let her body plop backwards on the couch.

"Come on, don't be sulky, I would take you with us but you don't have a break these two upcoming days," Sophia made an attempt to persuade her by approaching her and giving her a quick hug, smiling a little at her friend's behaviour.

"I know you would but even if you would invite me I wouldn't come. I will have Joel around to pass my time at least. I don't need you." Dimitra broke into a small giggle at her words before breaking that little hope of hers.

"Sorry my love, but Joel will be coming along with me since we had a free spot because of your absence ."Lisa gasped at the information before sulking further on the couch.

"Just leave before I start cursing at you all." She got up and started pushing them out the door then slammed the door on their faces.

"I think she got mad." Said Sophia looking at Dimitra as they were now standing behind the door out of their apartment.

"Lisa babe, I have bought you cake, It's on the firdge~ Your fave~" Dimitra shouted at the door knowing well what these magic sentences can do when used with her friend Lisa.

"I adore you girls~Have a great trip~" Her voice was heard from the other side of the door making Sophia and Dimitra giggle with each other now leaving with a heart at ease.

The two girls along with the group of boys that accompanied them had a beautiful and fun drive till their destination and they all had started to feel closer after the hours they passed on their vehicles, chatting and singing to random songs all ride long. The atmosphere between them all was great and continued being so even after they finally parked their cars in front of the house of Jay's grandma, where they were going to stay for the upcoming two days.

They took their luggage off the tracks and followed Jay who opened the house for them and welcomed them all to the empty house that was as clean as he had ordered the cleaning agency some days ago to be.

"Baby, we will stay in the same room. Follow me." Shiro told Sophia as he grabbed her suitcase out of her hold and started going up the stairs, she following him as she was told to do, leaving behind Dimitra with Joel along with Jamie and Jay.

"Whose is this house?"Asked Dimitra as her eyes were travelling the place in awe of the design that was nothing of the ordinary yet gave off such warm family vibes.

"It's my granny's but she has passed away " Jay responded to her with a smile, looking as if his words were not something he found sad anymore then offered to show them to their rooms. They started going up the stairs slowly some getting emerged in their silly conversations.

"We will surely have a nice time here. There are so many beautiful places around. After you change up we can go see some together Dimitra." Jay addressed her nonchalantly but as he caught Joel's gaze and witnessed how he wrapped his arm protectively around Dimitra's shoulders and pulled her closer, Jay soon came to understand that he should have thought twice before speaking.

"There is no need. We can find the places by ourselves." Joel responded as he kept an unfriendly gaze finding Jay's friendly behaviour with his girlfriend a bit too much for his liking.

"I didn't mean anything by it, don't misunderstand me, please," Jay reassured him quickly as he wanted to avoid any kind of harsh feeling getting born in between him and Joel for no reason since they were still getting to know each other, and he found him pretty cool so far.

---Change of set---

"Won't Theo come as well?" Sophia asked Shiro as she continued with the process of emptying her suitcase.

"He will be here by tomorrow cause today he had some assignment to take care of."He responded nonchalantly as he laid on the double-size bed that he will be sharing with Sophia these upcoming two days.

"Come here for a second." He told her and Sophia turned and looked at him for a moment before approaching him in wandering thoughts of why did he need her for.

As she reached close enough to be on his reach, Shiro stretched out his hand and grabbed hers pulling her on the bed with him then faced her with a sweet smile as she was now lying beside him.

"I want a kiss and a hug." He told her sweetly before making his wants a reality, pecking her lips softly as his arms wrapped around her making Sophia just widen her eyes at his unexpected actions before making an attempt to get freed from his hold, a thing that only won a chuckle out of his lips.

"I go crazy when you become shy. I like it." He commented, knowing that his words would have an effect on her that didn't take long to show as her cheeks started displaying a faded blush.

"Now that I think about it, it's been a while since you told me that you love me. How about you let me hear it now?" He left his thumb caress slightly the bottom of her lips as his eyes remained on hers.

"Come on~, Stop teasing me and get off of me." Was all Sophia replied with while looking away from his eyes and slightly pushing on his chest to let her go but Shiro only smiled before letting his lips rest on her forehead sweetly.

"I do love you though."He whispered as he looked at her eyes before letting go of her and getting up to head for the balcony in hopes of taking in the sight that it had to offer, while Sohpia remained there for a bit in a state of a flustered mess.

---Time skip---

The doorbell sounded on the atmosphere making Lisa roll her eyes in annoyance as she was really comfortable on her couch, under her blanket, with her favourite movie playing and her delicious cake in her hand. She truly did not found the desire to get up and open that door yet the annoying ringing continued so she put aside the small plate with the slice of cake that she was attending to and went to see who was daring to disturb her.

"Hi...I know it's kinda late but I am home alone and I really don't like loneliness so...can I stay over for tonight?" Theo appeared before her with two big eyes and a pillow resting in his embrace, holding it tightly before his chest as if his life was depending on it.

"Did anyone told you that I am some kind of hotel?" Lisa replied to him somehow rudely making him just look at the ground without saying a word back. She waited for him to meet her eyes again or say something however he kept appearing shy and intimidated before her, making her leave an exhale of defeat.

"Fine! Get in but just so you know if you start bubbling I am throwing you out." She warned him as she opened up the door for him to enter and he entered quietly whispering a thank you to her.

After they arrived at the living room Lisa went back to the movie she was watching ,ignoring his presence as she kept biting on her cake . However it didn't took long for her to feel a pair of eyes staring at her forcing her to gaze towards Theo only to find him eyeing her piece of cake with hungry eyes.

She sighed before placing the plate on the table and got up to go to the kitchen and bring him a piece of cake ,knowing that he won't stop bothering her with his gaze if she wouldn't.

"Just so you know, this is something I rarely do on my own will so be thankful." Lisa told him as she placed the plate with the cake in front of him on the small glassy table and Theo looked at her in confusion for a moment before grabbing the plate and taking a bite from the delicious looking caramel ice cream cake.

"Well, it turns out you are not as bad as Shiro says and I am glad because, in reality, I was more scared of coming here than staying alone but since Dimitra and Sophia asked me to keep you company, I had to," Theo admitted while eating joyfully, his words coming out a little muffled because of it.

"They did what?!!Oh hell, I am gonna kill them when they get back" Lisa showed her immediate anger at the news he brought to her, finding it absurd as she definitely didn't need anyone to babysit her.

Time flew by in silence after that small conversation and Lisa turned off the TV thinking of heading to bed then turned and looked at the guy that was sitting at the corner of her couch which she had been ignoring the whole time.

"Good Night, I am going to sleep. I am gonna bring you some bed sheets and blankets to sleep on the couch." She informed him as she was walking towards her room to find them. Before she could make more steps, however, she heard his rapid movements as he literally jumped from his seat and halted right behind her.

"Why are you following me like a dog though?" She glanced over her shoulder at Theo and he looked around him as if he wasn't the only one she could be referring to.

"Well...you know I have an issue and I don't like sleeping alone ."He told her while flashing her a rectangular smile before passing her by entering her room and slamming his body on her bed.

"Well to bad for you , you might not be able to sleep tonight then. Now get your ass away from my bed before I throw you out of the house entirely!" She sternly spoke to him and gestured towards the door, making Theo pout as he dragged his body up and walked back at the doorstep of her room, not willing to get thrown out entirely.

"Oh wait! I just remembered. When I was coming here a guy was standing at your doorstep and said he was looking for you. He gave me this to pass to you." Theo remembered out of a sudden an occurrence he had forgotten as soon as she had opened the door earlier and had landed that stern gaze of hers on him, then he started roaming on the pockets of his jeans looking for the thing he was supposed to give to her. It didn't took long to find it and soon a small piece of folded paper landed on Lisa's palm.

She unfolded the paper quickly and after reading it, she felt her nerves rising almost instantly inside her.

"How the heck did he found me again? He even knows where I live...Did Shiro let him know... Gosh, he overdid it this time!" She thought to herself, feeling mad at him for not hesitating to sell her off like this then she rushed towards the main door, and proceeded to wear her coat and shoes quickly.

"Where are you going? It's late." Theo's voice reached her ears reminding her of his existence that she had momentarily forgotten.

"You go to sleep, I won't take long. Something came up." She gave him a vague answer before vanishing from his sight , rushing out the door and down the stairs till the main entrance of the apartment building where a hand that appeared out of no where stopped her by grabbing her and shoving her to the side,where it didn't took long for a cold metal to touch the skin of her neck, keeping her frozen in place.

"Nothing personal, sweetie. It's just a delivery ."The unknown to her voice said behind her back making her hold back her breath as her mind went blank. She tried to stay as put as she could but the creeping feeling of fear inside her made her fail to appear as cool as she would have wanted to be.

It had been so long since the last time she had been in danger, so long that it appears that her body was falling behind on reacting as quickly as she used to do. However, she was aware that resisting most likely would end up in a worst fate for her so she just inhaled a deep breath and hitched slightly as the blade scratched her skin, leaving a marking on her neck as it was ordered to happen. A small bloody marking that indicated more trouble to come her way.
