17 Late Emperor

On one side, Scarlet didn't reach home on time and it was even getting more late. So, it was necessary for her parents to get worried. But Luke,... is Luke....

He always had plans as his backup whenever he was on these missions. So , he just did some research on Scarlet when she was in her classes during the day and found about some things about her friends and family and even her likings too.

He came to know that she had 5-6 people as her friends named Chris, Eva, Tom, Jenny and Someone named Tina too.

For him , it wasn’t difficult to find some common things about these people who were always tugging along with each other. They were all the birds of same feather who flocked together.

These group of people were always ready to do anything and everything which would make others drop open their jaws in shocks and aww.

Although, from his research , he came to know that Scarlet wasn’t a part of their most of the plans and mischievous deeds but it didn’t mean that she wasn’t always.

The most funniest thing that he came to know was the incident that happened back then with Mr. Fart , their professor.

He couldn’t help but chuckle. Eva and Tom were always fighting like kids over petty things and Eva used to harass Tom by taking name of his girlfriend.

Chris was a sophisticated person, who enjoyed being with these people but wasn’t cunning like Jenny and Tina.

While Scarlet was the scientific, logical and a badass girl who wasn’t famous for her badass character but because of her beauty, which he himself had witnessed today.

Taking the advantage of his knowledge and to just not arouse any suspicion in her family's mind, he vaguely called her father...

" Hello ... !! Is this Mr. Lozenge ?"

"Yes, I am Dr. Lozenge . Who's over there ?"

"I am Luke Camel , Mr. Lozenge . I am a friend of your daughter Scarlet.” replied Luke to the question being so calm as if he was used to talk to Mr. Lozenge on daily basis.

“ Oh .. yes, what made you contact me son?” the father wasn’t sure of why this man called Luke called him instead of his daughter who wasn’t home yet. Also, his daughter had never mentioned about anybody named as Luke.

Abrupt and weird thoughts started to run inside his head like ' Did she got hooked up with this man called Luke? Why didn’t she tell him? Is there any complications going on between them? Maybe that’s why she was acting weird the other day having all the sea food and gulping water.’

Thinking that something must had happened, Mr. Lozenge paused in his actions and asked further

“ But she is not home son. Is she with you ?”

Gasping hearing out the man on the other side of phone, Luke was taken aback but relaxed his tensed nerves and it made Luke step on to another set of a lie saying ..

“She won't be home today because we all have to work on the projects. So, all of us are at Chris' house working over it."

Hearing about Chris, Mr. Lozenge believed Luke. All his suspicious thoughts and doubts got cleared at once.

May be this was because he was a father and he loved his daughter way too dearly. So, he stepped over the race stallion of his thoughts and crossed all the realms .

But now everything was fine. So, he didn't even bother to cross check. May be it was because, his precious daughter had never hid anything from him in the past and was always careful.

Moreover, he shouldn't worry because the call was made by the person himself. Although he had some doubts, but he knew how packed Scarlet's schedule was.

Luke thanked and greeted him before disconnecting the call. He glanced once over the girl lying on the bed who has now turned back to her human form and was covered over with a duvet.

Sighing deeply he wondered how was he going to handle this girl and guide her when her powers are even beyond his own imagination.

Emerald and his beta Jack were heading towards the company owned by Chris' father because Emerald did proper research over him and came to know that he was head over heels for scarlet.

He wasn't able to think of what would happen if they both ended up together. Without even knowing what and why he was doing all this, he was letting himself drown into this feeling .

They headed inside the company and met Chris' father , who happened to be their ultimate business associate and signed another deal which had bounded the man to the Azures in a business commotion which stated that if he didn't deliver the consignment on time, his son's shares would be transferred to Azures.

While on the other side in the MOUNTAIN HOUSE, old empress was sitting inside her room thinking how she would start the process narrated by the man in her dreams.

Exhaling a deep sigh, she remembered each and every word told by him which was to make her clear about what and how she had to do the things the coming day.

FLASHBACK

Last night when old lady was sleeping, the man again paid a visit. It had become a routine for him to visit her. After all , he loves her the most.

Yes, love. And why wouldn’t he..! When he was none other than her man , her Alpha ….

….the late emperor, the grandfather of Emerald Azure.

He loved his wife dearly and the most. She was the most beloved and important person of his life right after his parents.

He died some years back, 150 years which are just some years for werewolves, and yet he had the unfulfilled task in his hands which was to make his grandson find his lost soul and the purpose of his this life which is the last life.

So, even after his death, he didn't depart from this world and his soul is assigned this task.

It was also the same reason that he had been provided the heavenly book which was meant to help him . But because he passed away , so he had passed this book to his beloved wife , the empress and strictly said her to guard it with her life.

But she didn't know how to use that book and ended up remaining dazzled. so, now he had to visit her again and again to tell her how to use it and how to guide his grandson.

~DESTINY LAND~

Choice was combing her hairs and adoring her beauty looking at the mirror when she heard a familiar voice. Leaving Everything in the middle, she immediately headed downstairs towards the source of that voice and was beyond happy to find the person whose visit was totally unexpected.

Shrieking and chirping in happiness, she just threw herself in the arms of her beloved aunt Myna,who happened to be the goddess of life. To her utter surprise, Myna was not alone but she was with Kahi, Lord Of Life, her uncle and Myna's husband.

" Aunt, uncle... What a great surprise!! Finally you both remembered me." Said Choice almost pouting her lips and trying to be even more cute and adorable.

The couple just chuckled and Myna pulled her dear niece's cheeks lovingly wrapping her again in a warm hug and planting a soft kiss over her cheeks.

" Looks like everybody has forgotten me here." Said Destiny not pouting and acting cute like her younger sister but was wrapped in hug by her uncle.

After settling down and having some meals, they all chit-chatted about random things. But something was off. Destiny knew that Myna and Kahi wouldn't visit her and choice without any reason and that too suddenly.

After some moments, Choice was tired and she started to yawn to which the couple suggested her to go rest while they were up for a little talk with Destiny, which Choice didn't take much seriously and nodded. She hugged them before heading towards her room.

" What's the matter Aunt..?" Asked Destiny to which Myna sighed helplessly and replied ...

" Dear, I know that you both are also witnessing everything happening in the werewolf world and mortal world. But I just want you to not get involved this time. You know what had happened in the past and this is their last chance. So, this time, let Choice handle this."

Hearing this out Destiny just gasped. She knew that it was not her saying this time but was she really ready to get her little sister involved in this all..!.

Myna and Kahi both sensed her difficulties and Kahi spoke up this time holding Destiny's hands and assuring her ...

" Trust me child. You have to let it be. It's her calling this time. Only she can decide it.

You know this chance was only provided on this condition. So, we should just follow the setting."

Destiny was left with no option but still she made a mind note to herself to not let her sister and the people involved with her get hurt. At least, she could try.
