Bowing a little, they gave each other a quizzical glance but quickly retreated.

Once they were gone, Payu balled his hands into fists and gave King a sharp jab from the side.

"Hmm," King grunted, but his gaze was unwaveringly fixated on Kæw, he refused to let go. The only thing visibly moving was his chest, its rise and fall was fast and in sync with the clenching of his jaws.

Noting this, Payu huffed. He knew that King could probably not hear him, but he was still holding back. King was his boss after all, and hitting him felt strange.
