Chapter XI: New Enemy

Zak has his eyes closed, writhing from the pain. Once the man reaches him, he lowers himself down and grabs Zak by his shirt, ready to use his powers again. However, the man stops when he spots his gleaming red eyes opening. The man's heart races, unsure why his eyes had changed color. However, when he sees a particular potion spilled on Zak, the man figures out what had happened. He smirks sinisterly. Seconds later, the man withdrew from using his powers, leaving Zak alone. He got up and started walking away with pride.

On the floor, Zak's body energy began to decrease. His eyes began to blur, causing his eyesight to become weak. He felt his head filling with low thrums of energy that caused him to rub his head. Seconds later, the trio rises, noticing him in fear. They begin to run to him, then lower down to his level.

"Zak, dude, snap out of this!" Dexter began to say. Zak continued to rub his head, trying to fight off the low thrums of energy filling his brain.

"Your all I have, don't do this to us!" Christian then exclaims, feeling emotional. Seconds later, the trio turns around to face the man.

"What did you do to him?" Christian shouts with tears in his eyes.

"Let's just say, in seconds, he'll be giving in to my control." The man responds, chuckling wickedly. Seconds later, the trio looks back at Zak, causing their eyes to widen.

This time, his eyes are red. He lets out a strong force, causing the trio to get thrown to the other side of the room. As they collapse on the floor, they all grunt in pain. Moments later, Zak gets up with an evil expression on his face. The trio then rises seconds after him.

"Do I have your attention?" The man says to him. Seconds later, Zak nods with an evil grin, responding to the man. "Good," The man continues. "Now, Destroy them!" The man finishes, pointing at the trio. The trio's eyes begin to widen even more. Without their powers, they must face Zak, their brand-new arch-nemesis.
