"Is your dad strict?"

"How open-mind is he?"

"My suit looks okay right?"

"Are you sure your dad is going to like this?"

"Hey, is this perfume too light?"

"Rowan!"

I rolled my eyes over his stupid nonsense questions.

"Relax, dad is not going to eat you alive!"

He ducked down like a coward. "I just want to impress your dad..."

"It‟s going to be okay, dad is a very chill man" I stared dead straight at him.

Who would‟ve have thought the naughty noble boy will be nervous to meet his girlfriend‟s dad.



"We‟re here"

We stepped down from the carriage with me smiling bright like the sun and him looking dead like a corpse.

"Dad! I‟m back" I ran to the door not bothering to knock.

"Oh my! I‟m coming"

Dad was in a dark velvet blue suit embroidered with gold and silver fabric looking unusually fancy. His face was white like a ghost plus.

Rowan on the other wore a light pink suit with an expensive brooch and gelled up hair, while face is dead like a corpse as mentioned earlier.

The two was not exactly the same but they are in the same situation.

Containing my almost bursting cheeks, I grins "Dad, this is Rowan Wonderlad, the boy I told you about and Rowan, this is my dad, Marquess Cleland Cath"

They stiffly shook their hands and avoided each other eye contacts.

"So-pft-sorry" me trying to break the tension, "you two could go to the living room, I‟ll prepare tea"

As soon as I walked away, a laugh burst out like lava coming out of the volcano. It was going loud around the estate but I didn‟t bother to hide it.

Preparing teas and snacks while snickering uncontrollably, I just got a stomachache from too much laughing.

When my own laugh calmed down, another one arose by two men voices. They were Rowan‟s and Dad‟s. My joy bounce back again but this one were pure and genuine.

"What did I miss?"

"A guy goes to his doctor because he can see in the future" dad grinned widely telling me, "The doctor asked him, when did you suffered from that condition?"

Both the guys were trying to keep their laughter since their faces were mushed up ugly.

"He replied, since next Monday"

Their laughter rose around again while I, feeling annoyed but the joke was actually quite funny.

"Lord..." I scoffed.

The visit to dad was more than successful. Surprisingly, those two guys were so close that it was me rather that was third-wheeling them.

"It was fun actually, your dad was such a cool guy"

We were back to Lune Dalxi and are currently in Wonderlad‟s private resort on the countryside of the kingdom.

"Told you he was chill"

"Mom and dad also like you very much"

"Right, Duchess Wonderlad was so kind. She even gifted be a pair of earring"

We continue to talk about our family members. Our relatives loved us so much, too much that they stalked us in our private moment.

"When do you want to get married?" "Let‟s play a little more"

His face closer to mine, we shared a simple sweet kiss.

To think that I‟ll end up with this boy is unexpected but I don‟t mind it.
