15 ALL THE WAY TO LEVEL 48? - 5th Chapter

LEVEL 48? That's a little bit too high isn't it? Well it does look kinda normal tho.

(There was an open world: an average village scenery with a forest in the back)

I wonder how far can I go into this Level... it looks like the Overworld so far. I went to the village and I got surprised ,... as always I Guess.

Do you guys know how there's always that moment in a movie/anime where there's a monster in the town and everyone is running away screaming something like: "Oh my god it's a monster RUN RUN!!!."

Well this is the same thing , but the roles are reversed , me a human is scaring away monsters? This village which looked quite normal is not so normal afterall , instead of humans or some other race it's monsters that act like humans.

I heard sirens and guess what , an actual cops showed up , and yes , they are monsters too.

The Captain of the Cops - "PUT YOUR ARMS ABOVE YOUR HEAD IF YOU WANT TO LIVE."

I am sorry mr.cop but I don't have time for this , I stabbed myself and the cops were too shocked to do anything , my health has dropped enough to increase my speed significantly. After I stabbed myself , I used the ability of my necklace and killed the cops. All of these guys are E-Grades with those normal villagers being F-Frades.

My plan is simple , I will find a villager and force

him/her to tell me where the boss is. These monsters look pretty human by the way , compared to most monsters.

This is the first time when Mia said something like this , I wonder what it is.

[About the fact that you cannot bleed in this world,the reason has to do with you being in Backrooms, the moment you will leave them your self-damage stategy won't be so simple to do]

I guess that's why Berserker Ring is E Grade and not C Grade or something. Well , I'll have to use this to it's full potential now that I am here in the Backrooms.

I like Mia. Not in a romantic way but you know what I mean right.

I walked and walked and walked but I couldn't find any monsters , did they all flee? And if they did then where? I hope this Level isn't as big as it

seems , although I guess I could savor my time here.

The thing is that I don't even know how many Levels look like this one so I might aswell enjoy this level while I am here.

That doesn't change the fact that I will try to kill the boss as soon as possible. Just when I finished that thought I heard a scream somewhere , I came to the place and I saw 3 Hyena-like creatures that surrounded a monster girl which is around my age I guess?

I scared the Hyenas away and the monster girl wanted to run away from me , but I didn't let her , I am going to need her help in finding the boss of this Level.

Me - "Hey monster girl , I need your help , if you will help me I'll let you live , I promise.

I have no intention of killing her of course but I do need to find the boss , with that said I am not going to trust her. She is only F Grade but you can't ever now.

Girl - "Why did you call me a monster , you're the monster here!"

Me - "For someone powerless you're pretty cocky aren't you MoNStER Girl?"

Girl - "I am sorry please don't kill me!" She said as she

went to her knees.

"Don't worry I won't kill you , I just need one thing from you and that is to help me find the strongest person in here besides me."

"The strongest person? Why do you need to find him?"

She revealed his gender , that means she definitely knows his identity , hopefully?

"Yes bring me to him , that's all I need you to do."

"Allright , but it's in the capital and that is a few kilometres away from here , follow me."

I followed her and we had a conversation about how does it work in this world , it's the same but as the Overworld but first of all monsters and humans/other intelligent races have it reversed and second , monsters (humans for example ) appear very rarely here ( people that got lost in the Backrooms).

The girl doesn't seem like she is scared anymore , that is making me more suspicious of her. We'll have to see what's up with her. I have to say , for a monster she's actually beautiful but surely not as pretty as Hwa-Young for example.

The star started to set , I asked her what is their star's name and she said they didn't give it a name. Weird how us humans keep naming planets that are hundreds of light years away just because they're interesting in some way. And the names aren't even cool like for example: J1407b how did they even come up with that man?

Anyways I told the girl that we were going to stop and set up a camp after she told me that the capital is still far away from us.

I put her to a test , I gave her my Goblin Sword that I am not using and told her to protect herself if someone attacks us. If she tries to kill me then I might have to kill her. I set the campfire up in a way that my Shadow was aiming right at her. I can kill her at any moment.

Somehow , someway she didn't try anything at all. We woke up and continued our trip , I put the hood of my Vanishing Cloak over my head so that other monsters wouldn't notice that I am human hopefully.

The Vanishing Cloak is kinda problem tho to be honest but whatever.

In the evening we reached the capital and she showed me the palace , then I let her go and told her to not tell anyone about this or I will personally find her and kill her. That might've been an overkill , but I need to make sure she doesn't tell anyone about me. I slept in a inn and in the morning went for it.
