When Norman arrived at his office the first thing he saw was the now recognizable figure of Felicia reclining on one of the sofas in the room.

Norman gave a small sigh before heading to his seat and starting a day's work, but before that he brought his gaze to the woman in his room.

"Miss Hardy you should refrain from coming to the corporation for a while" Osborn commented to her which caught the attention of the white-haired woman.

"Why?" she asked curiously as she approached the spot where Norman was standing.

"Because I said so" was the reply that Osborn gave her, not leaving too much space for Felicia to say anything else.

Felicia just folded her arms a bit disgusted by the attitude Norman had, however, she knew she couldn't do anything about it as he must have his reasons, "It's okay" she ended up saying after a bit which earned her a nod of the head from Norman.

Norman simply began to read the documents that were on his desk while Felicia watched him, but after a few seconds in silence she began to speak, "So you sent Dad on a mission?" she asked with a bit of seriousness as it was an important situation.

"I did" Norman answered simply and knowing well what she was going to say the Hardy continued speaking, "You are not ready Felicia it was for that reason that I didn't send you as a companion, if you had gone then Walter would be more focused on taking care of you than on the mission and that would give way for him to make mistakes" he explained calmly.

Felicia just clenched her fist in frustration at Osborn's words, "When will I be ready?" she questioned somewhat somberly.

"Felicia your training is not even a month old and as talented as you are and as much effort you have put into training, it is not something that can be accelerated" explained Norman gently understanding a little of Hardy's feelings.

"I refuse to send you on a mission until I feel you are sufficiently trained to resolve all the situations that could potentially occur in them" he finished by saying.

"I understand the concern you have about Walter, but he is a cautious man and a very skilled individual, so he will be fine" he added after a few seconds.

Felicia just nodded at Osborn's words after all there was nothing more she could do.

Norman just looked at Felicia's figure realizing that she had fallen asleep on the couch after the small conversation she simply remained silent as she lay back down on the couch.

He could understand a little of Hardy's thinking, most of her life she had grown up with the idea of being like her father, while many parents read stories about fairies, princesses and dragons to their children, she grew up with stories of thieves and plunderers, many of them probably Walter's anecdotes.

For her following her father's footsteps was something she always dreamed of, so now that she has the opportunity to do it, but she can't, it is something that caused her feelings of frustration.

Norman put the documents aside as he got up from his seat and headed towards Felicia, the second he got there he carried her in his arms and began to take her to an adjoining room.

The room was a bedroom where old Norman used to spend his nights, as he usually refused to go home, so it had all the comforts one would expect, including a bed.

He carefully deposited the young adult on the bed and proceeded to wrap her in a blanket foreseeing that she might get cold after a while, Norman just watched her for a few seconds before shaking his head and leaving the room.

As soon as he left Osborn took a cell phone out of his pocket and started calling one of his contacts, as soon as the call connected he spoke without the slightest hesitation, "I need you to go to the coordinates I will send you, you must protect and help Walter in his mission understood?" he explained in a commanding voice and asked to make sure his words were heard.

"I understand" replied the other side before the call ended.

Norman put his cell phone away and headed back to his seat to continue his work, 'That's the second time Felicia has watched your back' thought Osborn.

When she opened her eyes Felicia looked at an unfamiliar room but at the same time for some reason she didn't feel nervous about that fact, plus it helped that she remembered she was with Norman, and she doubted that anything could happen to her when she was by his side.

Relatively calmly she began to get out of bed before she began to rearrange it a bit, it was the least she could do at the moment, once she was done with her self-imposed task she began to leave the room.

The familiar sight of a Norman Osborn concentrating on paperwork was the first thing she saw after leaving the restroom, before she could say anything she listened as Osborn spoke, "I figured you would be hungry once you woke up, so I took the liberty of ordering some food" he began to say calmly.

"You can have whatever you like" he finished by saying before he adopted his work obsessed attitude again.

Felicia just looked at the small table that was full of food as she thought it was a bit over the top, but after a bit she simply picked up a box that had several Sushi rolls and walked over to Norman before sitting down near him.

With the help of chopsticks she started to eat and realized that the taste was really good, so she took another one and extended it towards Norman who just looked at her, "Eat" Hardy mentioned to him.

After a few seconds and realizing that Felicia would not leave him alone until he ate Norman complied with her request, "It's good isn't it?" asked the white-haired girl.

"Yes, yes it is" he answered her sincerely.

In that way a strange situation developed between the two, as Felicia started to feed him every time she tasted something she thought was delicious, Norman just played along, at least that way she seemed to be happy plus it wasn't like he was losing anything.

The time to leave work had arrived some time ago and Norman found himself taking Felicia home due to the fact that Hardy had practically been in his office for most of the day.

It's not like he didn't understand her motives after all with her father gone Norman doubted a bit that she had anyone else to spend time with, since from what Walter has told him Felicia's relationship with her mother is somewhat complicated.

Plus from what he could see when he was with her at the science "festival" he could tell that most of her students and classmates didn't look at her in a good way, so it was quite possible that she had few if any friends.

So Norman would simply let her behavior slide a bit, after all it's not like she was annoying or anything similar.

While Osborn had those thoughts he had arrived at the address of Hardy's family home, so he quickly looked for a place where he could park and calmly did so.

Felicia just took off her seat belt, "Thanks for the ride" she mentioned to Osborn as her hand went to the handle of the car to open the door.

"Felicia I know you worry about your father, but I can assure you he will be fine, as I mentioned he is a talented individual plus he has my protection and I will make sure he gets back to his family" he mentioned to her.

Felicia's movements stopped for a second, "You are a strange person" was all Hardy mentioned to him.

"You're usually indifferent and quiet, sometimes you even seem to have no feelings and rarely speak more than just a few words" she continued as Norman just listened, "But when you do you really know how to get through to people" she added quickly.

Norman just shrugged his shoulders at the words said by Felicia, that was just the way he was, and he didn't plan on changing it, he didn't have the need or the motivation to do so.

Felicia only flashed a smile before an idea crossed her mind and she quickly moved a little closer to Norman who was only looking a little curious at the woman's actions.

What Norman didn't expect was for Felicia to place her lips on his cheek, being honest he could deduce what she wanted to do, but he never thought she would actually do it and because of that he didn't do anything to stop her.

"Thanks for everything" she mentioned to him after she had separated from him and opened the door to escape quickly, Norman didn't even try to stop her, as he didn't see any sense in doing so.

Osborn only watched as Felicia entered through the doors of the building where she was living not before greeting him with enthusiasm, after a while Norman simply shook his head and began to start his car.
