Yao was in a kind of ritual room while holding a pose similar to the one that meditation practitioners adopt for their training, but there was something peculiar about him.

On his chest could be seen a kind of gold-colored necklace with an engraving similar to an eye, the visual impact was a bit unbelievable the first time it was seen.

With a few movements of Yao's hands, several images appeared as it seemed that the eye on the necklace began to come to life, the images showed the talk he had a short time ago with Norman Osborn.

An individual who was too strange with all his years of experience he could tell that he was one of the strangest people he had ever met and the fact that the Eye of Agamotto had failed to see its origin was something he had never expected.

The magical artifact was powerful and had many ways it could be used, one of them and probably the most important was its ability to see the "Truth" this ability allowed it to see its wearer through whatever disguise or illusion existed and even allowed it to see the origins of things.

It was due to that fact that he was able to recognize the strangeness in Norman Osborn's existence, when he used the Eye of Agamotto on him, he simply could not see anything, he could not trace his origin, that he was not of this universe was the only conclusion he could come to, as he doubted he was powerful enough to somehow resist the Eye of Agamotto.

Due to that fact he planned to keep him in his sanctuary at least while he considered the potential dangers of leaving someone like him in the world, however, before he could do anything he saw something he thought he would never see.

It was because of that he was using another of the Eye of Agamotto's functions, in this case the artifact allowed you to see past events, though there was a certain time limit for it to work.

Soon he reached the moment he wanted to see and this time Yao showed absolute seriousness as he looked at them in search of something, it was just at the moment he moved his hand to attack Norman that he could see much more clearly and calmly what had caused him to change his actions.

A beautiful woman like no other he had ever had the pleasure of seeing appeared at Norman's side as a smile formed on her face at the sight of his actions, her black clothing made a great contrast to her white skin and hair. Yao remembered the feeling he had at that moment, the feeling of death coming for him.

The woman only gave him a glance to make Yao desist from his actions, to which she only nodded in satisfaction before looking for a few seconds at Norman and bringing one of her hands to the man's cheek touching it gently seconds later and just as she appeared she too disappeared.

The images of the event ended at that part while Yao only remained pensive at what he had just seen once again, he knew that if he saw it once more it wouldn't change the outcome, but it was something he had to make sure of.

The fact that an entity as powerful as the woman was would show an interest in the man was not a good thing, but at the same time it should not necessarily be a bad thing, the only thing Yao could think of was that things were about to change. He just hoped he could cope with those changes.

'I'm too old for this' was his thought as he started to leave the room he was in.

Norman for his part was in his office reading certain office reports, so far Oscorp's work capacity was continuing to grow rapidly along with its prestige.

This was both a good and bad thing, the more prestige Oscorp had the more prestige Norman himself would have which would allow him to make various useful plans for the future, but there was also the element of danger and the temptation many might have to see Oscorp fall and as a result bring Norman down as well.

The doors to his office opened unexpectedly and Norman only brought his gaze to them and upon recognizing the person simply lowered his vision back down to the documents he had seeming to care little about what had just happened.

Betsy just raised an eyebrow at that, but she didn't give it too much importance either after all she was practically an intruder at this moment, she calmly took a seat in front of Norman and began to wait for the man to finish his work.

A few minutes later Norman finished his work and turned his attention to the woman in front of him, "Well?" he asked, "The fact that you are here shortly after I had a previous visit makes me believe that you are related, or am I wrong?" he continued.

Betsy just kept her composure, "You're really sly when you put your mind to it" she mentioned.

Norman just shrugged, "I don't think so, it's just a logical thing to think that way, besides it's because of your presence that I was able to connect the dots, if you hadn't shown up I might not have been able to suspect you" Osborn told her truthfully.

"So what was that all about?" asked Norman curiously.

"You could say it was a coincidence, as for who Yao is, well you could say he's some sort of protector" she explained however she kept most of the information unsaid.

"It's really puzzling that after learning of the existence of people with powers similar to mine exist, now I have also discovered that there is a sorcerer, the world is just too chaotic and strange" Norman commented which resulted in Betsy smiling at his words.

"Certainly this world is too chaotic, and you have yet to see many things that inhabit it" the woman said, "Most people will never notice something like that, but we are not like them" she finished by saying.

Norman didn't respond immediately instead he adopted a thoughtful attitude, "Why do you seem to have confidence in me?" he asked with a small trace of seriousness, "I'm sure I've never met you before and the few meetings we've had aren't enough to make you trust me" he added quickly.

"That's certainly a good question" Betsy pointed out before remaining silent for a few minutes, possibly debating whether to tell the truth or not, for his part Norman just waited patiently for her answer.

"I have a certain ability that allows me to see future events, I can't control it, it's simply something unconscious and natural to me, sometimes it's something clear, but at other times it can be something too strange" she began to say as the room fell into silence.

"As for you, I think it's easy to deduce it, in the "visions" I had related to you, I could see a hope for ours, a protector perhaps, someone I could trust my back to, a great ally" she explained, and although she didn't give too many details either because her visions didn't give them to her or she preferred not to tell all that only she knew.

Norman just kept silent processing the information he just received, from what he remembered from the versions he knew of the character there were times when she had some precognition ability, so there might be a chance that what she said was completely true.

"I think you have too much confidence in something that might or might not happen" he replied after thinking about his answer for a while.

Unlike what he expected Betsy nodded her head giving him the reason in a simple way, "Maybe you're right, but gambling is really fun" she replied downplaying her actions.

Norman shook his head as he began to chat with Betsy, the two simply looked like old friends who hadn't seen each other in a long time.

The talk with Betsy lasted for a long time, in it, he had learned a lot of information, although Norman doubted she would tell him everything she knew, but that was a logical action.

By way of equalizing what they both knew about each other Betsy revealed her abilities and powers, most of them were already known to Norman, but still he must have acted surprised and suspicious at times.

Telepathy, telekinesis and a lesser empathic ability, Norman had to admit he was impressed by the potential her powers had, in addition to all her innate powers combined with what she had learned with Ducard, she was possibly a perfect assassin and combatant.

It was time to go home and Norman was still having a conversation with Betsy, realizing the time Osborn began to think of something.

Betsy quickly picked up on Norman's attitude and just waited until he spoke.

"Do you have any way of finding more people like us?" asked Osborn in a serious manner.

"Maybe" she replied, "Sometimes it is possible to do it, but at other times it is not" she added quickly.

"Would you accept if I asked you to find someone?" he questioned again and this time Betsy adopted a more serious attitude.

"I thought you had no knowledge of any mutants before you met me" pointed out the beautiful woman.

"You have your secrets, so it's to be expected that I have them too" commented Norman and because of how logical and honest Betsy was she didn't go on to say anything more.

"I can't be sure of finding it, but I can try" after thinking about it for a while Betsy told him honestly.

"That's all I need" Norman replied, maybe with a little luck Betsy could find him and with even more luck he still wouldn't be on any side, his mutation was really useful after all.

"I don't know his real name, but his alias is Jonathan Silvercloud" he finished by saying to a Betsy who only nodded at the name she was given to fulfill her mission.
