Chapter 1 the appearance of shadows

Drawiz magic academy is a place to learn magic to become a mage, this academy is located in the Redeon kingdom, one of the four kingdoms that guard the borders from monsters on the continent and students who have graduated will become mages to defeat the monsters that threaten human peace .

"Mr. Sirius Waiden, this is a summoning magic test to summon a partner who will help you in making you a mage. This will be your final graduation test so don't fail like other tests!" said old man Wilo firmly.

"O..okay sir, I..I'll try my best" said Sirius stuttering in response.

In the middle of a large field while many other children in his class were watching, Sirius began to read a summoning spell in the middle of the magic circle altar, the magic circle glowed as a sign that the spell was suitable and successful, but the shadow under Sirius began to cover the light of the magic circle and began to evaporate upwards to cover the entire Drawiz academy sky.

All the other students started to feel restless and the exam supervisors were wondering what Sirius would summon, but after a while the shadow covering the academy disappeared suddenly and nothing appeared on the altar where Sirius was standing.

"Wow, Mr. Sirius, you surprised us but no creature appeared, are you not studying enough so you failed again?" asked one of the test supervisors who accompanied old man Wilo.

"I...I've studied and fully understood summoning magic before, but for some reason the creature I summoned didn't appear." said Sirius with a pale face.

All the students in the audience laughed a little while looking at Sirius's talent lightly and making fun of Sirius' little mana which made him unable to perfect the activated magic.

"It's okay, Mr. Sirius. I know you've tried your best on all the tests because I supervise every student who often comes to the library and as a supervisor there, I think this is your inability. Try again next semester." Old man Wilo said wisely to Sirius.

"And to all of you, return to your respective dorms immediately! "Today's test is finished and thank you for your participation." Old man Wilo said loudly using loudspeaker magic.

The other students began to leave the field and head to their respective dorms, Sirius returned to his room jealous of the talents of the other students who had graduated before him.

When Sirius was studying in his room "why am I so useless?!!, even though I've tried to learn more than anyone else why can't I still use advanced magic?!" said Sirius with a low shout.

"Why do I have to suffer the most in this world? Why doesn't God help me?" Sirius said tearfully.

Suddenly the silence in the room disappeared and a clear voice was heard, "Why does God have to help you? HAHAHA" said the voice inside Sirius' head.

"Isn't God all-helpful as written in the religious books? Of course he has to help me to prove what is written in the religious books," said Sirius, who thought the voice was a hallucination of his stressed mind.

"Do you eat every day?"

"Of course."

"Do you sleep every day and sometimes rest during the day?

"Yes, sometimes I sleep during the day on holidays"

"Are you sick?"

"No, I'm still healthy."

"I am Roy, the creature you summoned" said a mysterious voice loudly.

Sirius was once again shocked and immediately turned around "R..Roy, the creature I summoned? but where are you? I didn't see you." Said Sirius while nervously afraid.

"It's true that I am the creature you called as your magic partner, you can't see me because my form is a shadow that always follows you, that's why you can't see me," explained Roy.

Sirius suddenly laughed and said "Hahaha..., I didn't fail but there was just a misunderstanding, then we have to go to old man Wilo and report it immediately."

"Are you sure ?" Roy's reflection asked Sirius.

"Of course I can" answered Roy's shadow with a big smile under Sirius.

"That means you are a creature that has intelligence, I never knew there were summoned creatures that had intelligence from the books I read in the wizarding library" said Sirius calmly while remembering.
