Supposed 'date.'

Naruto woke up, feeling the heat of sunlight peeking through the gaps in his wooden window. Turning his head around, he saw a seductive beauty lying beside him.

She hugged him as he was gonna leave her. Her hands and legs were over Naruto, tightly grabbing into him like he was her personal pillow.

Curling his lips, Naruto caressed her crimson fluffy fox ears, nibbling on the tips occasionally as he felt up her buttocks, slipping his hands through the Kimono.

"Good morning," Naruto said as Kitsune slowly opened her eyes and turned towards him with a bashful look.

"G-good Mor ── Ahhn~"

Naruto squeezed her supple ass, making her moan.

Kitsune gave him a series of small punches to his chest with a tomato-like face.

"Youu ─"

Not giving her any chance to speak, Naruto pushed his lips onto hers, which she gladly accepted. But Naruto didn't forget to pinch her nipples, making her gasp for breath during the make-out session as he spooned Kitsune.

'So cute,' Naruto thought, looking at the flustered Kitsune.

Naruto pecked her before finally readying to meet Sasuke and Sakura to obtain their daily missions.

Opening the door, he took a deep breath taking in all the aroma of the street food. As if responding to the smell, his stomach demanded some food.

Naruto slightly changed his plans as he made his way to the Ichiraku Ramen since he was bored with constantly slurping up instant ramen for breakfast. So he decided on a change.

"Good Morning," Naruto said, waving his hands toward his teammates. "Didn't Kakashi sensei come yet?"

"Don't even ask. Kakashi sensei always ask us to come on time, but he always gets lost in his path of life," Sakura sneered, throwing a stone from the top of the bridge.

"Good morning," Sasuke said, nodding as he leaned on the wooden railing. "I hope at least he comes by noon."

Their annoyed faces could not be hidden. It was reasonable since they had been doing all sorts of miscellaneous work throughout this whole week. They didn't even get a single exciting task after the land of waves mission.

"Good to see you, Team 7," Kakashi said as he emerged from the other side of the bridge. To which, they all greeted him back.

"Any interesting missions, Sensei?" Naruto asked Kakashi with a hopeful gaze.

"Indeed," Kakashi exclaimed. "Collecting cans from the river. We should all strive to protect the environment."

Hearing this, everyone had deadpan expressions but could only take up the mission helplessly.

In a grassy field, two figures fought—or would it be better to say trained?

One had pale white eyes with veins throbbing around them, while the other had two Chinese hair buns. It was none other than Neji and Tenten.

They were now getting ready for the upcoming chunin exams, as they had skipped the last year, feeling unprepared.

"Neji, shall I use more kunais?" Tenten asked, throwing several kunais at Neji.

"I think I can handle more," Neji replied, parrying every kunai, redirecting them successfully.

The sound of metal clanging and falling was heard throughout the area. Looking around, the ground was like a sea of kunais and shurikens.

Neji was training a defensive technique that allowed him to respond to an attack from any direction. His hands looked like a blur when deflecting the kunai.

"Okay!"

Hearing the confirmation, Tenten summoned dozens of kunais from the scroll and threw them in Neji's direction at varying angles. Some shurikens were also mixed in between, which she controlled using her chakra threads.

"I think that's enough," Neji said as he slumped on the ground with a thud sound. His hands were trembling ever so slightly.

"You've improved a lot. You could easily ace the Chunin exam," Tenten said, extending her hand for Neji to get up.

"As if you couldn't," Neji scoffed at her remark.

"So, is your secret lover coming to the exam."

"Nejiiii," Tenten pinched him as she turned around to collect her scattered kunais and shurikens.

If someone saw this scene, they would think a great battle occurred here. The only missing thing was blood.

'So exhausting,' she thought, collecting them.

However, a slight smile could be seen on her face, recalling what Neji asked.

'I can't wait to meet Naruto in the evening. I wonder what he has to say.'

After gathering all the shurikens and other weapons, she sealed them back up and went to training as usual.

Meanwhile, Hinata was training with Kiba and Shino. Their clothes were dusty, and scratches could be seen here and there.

The training ground was partially covered by the short shadow of the trees around. The leaves rustled, giving off a dry feeling.

"Nicely done, Hinata," Kurenai said, looking at the performance of Hinata.

It wouldn't be a lie to say she wasn't surprised. Although she still had to work on her teamwork, her execution of moves was smooth.

"It's nothing much, sensei," Hinata said, deactivating her byakugan. "I've been meaning to ask ── Why did you ask us to suddenly train?"

Hearing this question, Kurenai gave a mysterious smile.

"I'll let you know later," She said, giving her a wink.

Hinata didn't know what she meant; Not dwelling on it, she started her training with her teammates again.

"Go easy on me," Kiba said with a grin. "Before that, try to defend this ──"

Kiba ran forward and leaped in the direction of Hinata, with his body rotating with Akamaru like a tornado.

In this move, he delivers quick punches to a target, not allowing them to defend themselves.

Knowing this, Hinata activated her byakugan again. Several veins throbbed around her milky white eyes.

"Fang passing Fang!" Kiba yelled.

Seeing the attacks coming her way, she used Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven, rotating rapidly and creating a blueish shield around her, resulting from the chakra being released from her Tenketsu.

Kiba couldn't stop in time and got blasted away along with Akamaru, crashing a nearby tree. There weren't any injuries, but the impact of Hinata's attack left him disoriented for a few seconds.

"I'm sorry!" Hinata said, running towards Kiba and helping him up. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine ── I think?" Kiba replied while squeezing his shoulder with a pained face.

Akamaru just ran around as if nothing had happened whatsoever.

"Hinata, You have to be careful when exerting your power. Do you understand?" Kurenai reprimanded. "But don't worry, we'll work on it."

Nodding, Hinata picked up Akamaru and let Kiba to a side. She then took an ointment and offered some to Kiba. She felt really guilty for hurting her teammate.

Hiashi was always quite strict when it came to training. So Hinata had become accustomed to using her full force when fighting.

'I should work on it in the future,' she thought, looking at where she performed the technique. 'I could always ask Naruto to train with me.'

Hinata's face beamed after remembering that Naruto had told her to meet him this evening. She really looked forward to that.

However, neither Tenten nor Hinata knew they would be meeting each other on their supposed 'date' with Naruto.
