Chapter 1 The Wedding Date

Life hasn't been great for me ever since, I lost my parents when I was 13 and had to live with my grandparents. Living with the grandparents was good, to say the least, but when I reached 15 I lost my grandma, and not only that my grandpa became incredibly sick, so I started to do a part-time job to bring my grandpa's medicine home.

Our family was never rich, that include my grandparents and also great-grandparents who were butlers and maids to some rich folks.

But after reaching 16 I released my first game on the internet which was a huge success and brought more money, but before my only family can enjoy it, soon my grandpa also died in his sleep the day after I told him, 'we became rich grandpa, now we can buy whatever we want, any medicine you want' and next day morning I found him not breathing in his bed, died while having a smile on his face.

That day I cried, I cried so much, all my frustration, sadness, and grief, next morning my eyes were swollen.

Soon a few months later, my previously made game was slowly doing down, so I had to sell that game to some big corporate, and I got 2 million dollars in return.

And after more months later I finally sold the house including all things inside the house, I don't want any reminder of that painful past.

After selling everything, with the previous million money and the newly sold house money I moved from place to place living from hotel to hotel.

After the help from the previous lawyer, who also helped me sell my game before, helped me change my birthdate, making me legally 20 while only being 16 thanks full I had 6'1 height.

While moving from place to place, I had done many things, first, I bought a laptop I mean a top laptop, and started doing the only thing I do the best programming which I learned mostly online and from my dad.

And also I dropped out of school to mostly focus on programming which I can also say hacking as I am good at that to if I want I can change my history if I want to, but I don't know if it feels wrong doing that so most of the time I don't do hacking stuff and focus on the programming part.

So after 7 months of going from a different place to place living from wonderful to most scabby places, I finally created a game that I called B&B (BUBBLE BURST), I know the name does not sound cool and all but trust me when I say this it will create a tsunami on the internet.

It is a free-to-play buble-matching video game, and for it, I had to go from office to office, new entrepreneur to old entrepreneur finally after 5 months the game was released all over the world App Store, play store, IOS, and Android.

It became so a hit that it made me 2.7 million a week, and it is only just the beginning. I was so happy that I wanted to celebrate with close people in my life, but everybody has. Let's not talk about family but friends I didn't have any, I used to have some friends when I was 10 or so but they kinda drifted away and after what happened I kinda kept myself busy with programming so that I did not have time to make more friends.

So that day I celebrated alone and a few months later finally making everything clear with my lawyers, I moved on with my life. In this month only, I made so much money which I have never even dreamed of.

After moving most of my life I needed to settle, and I found a perfect place in Los Angeles, California, USA not too bad but not too good also just middle on the gray.

After coming to California, now needed a house, so I went to find real estate and I found one fun guy and a bit awkward but fun nevertheless.

I told him I needed a simple but comfortable house also not too pricey but not too cheap either and soon the day after tomorrow we both visited many places in his car I did not like those houses very much but when this real estate guy had to go to his house because he forgot his purse while I was sitting on the passenger sit with him, so he had to go to his for a quick grab and run, so I suggest we should go and later drop me off to my hotel.

So we both drove off to his house and after parking, near his house, he told me he will come back soon and went inside while I was feeling cramped inside I came out of the car and looked around, the air feels fresh not too much traffic, Hum this place looks perfect, while I was looking around I saw sale board on one of the houses near that real estate guy.

A few minutes later that real estate guy came running and saw me looking around after seeing him come out of his house I asked about this sale sign, and he told me all about this house, its prices, and also the living conditions of the society and after hearing him I told him I want that house.

He also told me that the house is in the process of remodeling because it is an old house I told him I can wait for a month or so for it to finish, and he told me great he also said it will take 4 months and price might increase a little, but it might be on the price range, so I told him no problem.

Soon he dropped me at my hotel, and he gave me his real estate card I also gave him my number to call me if the work will be done.

After 4 months, now because of my game, I earn 1.1 million dollars a day also Phil the real estate guy called and told me the house is ready, so I went to his office and did some paperwork, and now I have a house in Los Angeles, California and tomorrow I am moving there. So today I went shopping and bought the furniture needed for the house 50-inch TV, the most comfortable sofa, bed and not only furniture curtains, cups, a refrigerator, microwave, and all those stuff, told the shop manager to deliver by tomorrow to my new home location.

After tomorrow, I rode toward my place in my brand-new 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid car, yes I bought it. It was my forever dream to buy this car, I used to see my rich friend ride in that car with their parents and came to school it made me feel a bit jealous of them, and now I also have one.

My furniture and all the house items had been delivered, so I hired some people to help me arrange it, My house was like any other house near here. After properly making this empty house a proper home, I walked toward the lawn to saw, although the grass has been cut by the people who renovated the house the flower in the small garden looked nearly dried up I went inside and changed into a tank top and shorts and bought some gardener tools and while I was going the work, someone came toward me and cough near me to got my attention.

When I turned around I saw a cut girl with glasses, we did some introduction, and apparently, she was that Phil guy's daughter while we were talking she suddenly asked me a surprising question which made me drop my gardening tool, which nearly didn't hurt my leg.

So what did she tell me, well she told me "Well I was wondering if you are free this weekend, I need a date to my uncle's wedding thing, and so I was wondering, you are in or out?"

"HUH?" That was my only reaction.

AN: Well, I have read a few literally few novels about a modern family that I had to make one myself just to release this bubbly feeling inside me. Although I am not sure if I will regularly update the chapter, I will try.

This first chapter is a bit like a prologue than a chapter, from the next one I will add more dialogue,

Also, I don't know how to suddenly become a millionaire, so don't try that process.

Also, my novel starts at the near end of season 5 at the Mitch and cam weeding. I got this inspiration to make from the other author's novel which is also about the modern family Author: WhineComplainer novel name is The Modern family and Me, support him also.

If I want Alex and MC, then I want her to be a bit more mature to do so.
