" Yang! We are not watching "The Pun and the Punnier"!!!"

Ruby died her sister's choice in movies as she had to watch it way too many times to count back home at Patch to the point the little red reaper actually gets physically ill at even considering watching it again. Yang defended her favorite movie.

" Ruby, Mom has not seen it yet, and I want to share it with her."

" Ruby, dear, what is the matter with Yang's choice in a movie?"

Summer asks, as she had not seen her little rosebud so opposed to anything before despite the 12-year gap. Ruby looked toward her mother and explained.

" There are a few things to be thankful for not being there in our lives, Mommy, and it's not having to see the horror known as the Joke Wars between Yang and Dad, and another is not having to watch "The Pun and Punnier" a billion times."

" Joke Wars?"

The elder Rose asked in confusion. As while she knew Taiyang liked to make lame jokes and that Yang fell in love with puns, it surely could not be that bad, but the lifeless look in her silver-eyed daughter's eyes told her how harrowing the experience was. The younger Rose then asked for backup from her team.

" Weiss, Blake, surely you don't want to see Yang in a Pun Frenzy while watching a movie, right?"

" I think I can speak for everyone in saying we get enough puns as is with Yang as our teammate."

Weiss quickly agreed with her team leader, and Blake added.

" Agreed."

Yang despaired at not getting a chance to watch her favorite movie in the large home theater at Silva's residence for movie night.

" NNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!"

" Dramatic, much?"

Weiss retorted, and Summer then cheered up her daughter.

"Don't worry, my sunny little dragon; we can watch it together, just you and me, another time."

" Really?"

Yang asked hopefully at the bonding experience, and Ruby quipped as she knew the horrors of that movie.

"You're going to regret that, Mommy."

The elder Rose did not take her youngest words to heart, although she will wish she did in the future. Pyrrha then joined in the conversation as she picked out a movie to watch as everyone gets to pick at least one film as the marathon will go from Friday night to around Sunday.

" Is this fine?"

Emerald looked at the movie in her team leader's hand and answered.

" I think this is based on a book I read, so it should be okay."

" Hey, Ren, how about this one?"

Nora asked Ren, and he looked at the movie in her hand before nodding in agreement. Neopolitan, Luna, and Argint gave their movie selection privileges to Silva as they had no idea what they wanted to watch. The snow leopard man went and chose some movies from another universe that he was familiar with, The Hobbit trilogy and Lord of the Ring trilogy. He could pick out three movies as it was his home theater that everyone was using for the impromptu movie marathon.

If anyone asked him where they came from, he would tell them it was a secret and not say another word aside from the few that already knew his multiverse traveling ability. Silva also had his chef bots popping out a variety of food for the movie marathon, including but not limited to popcorn, hotdogs, chicken tenders, pizza, fish & chips, loaded chili fries, and various caffeinated drinks. The snow leopard man then called out to everyone.

" Okay, pick out your films and hand them over to me to set up the projectors."

Everyone complied, and Silva rolled a dice to decide what would go first as his selection will go last because they are a series. After picking out the first movie, he used the remote control to lower the lighting and jokingly called out.

" Please, be respectful of others by silencing or turning off your Scrolls. Thank you, and enjoy the movie."

I grunted as I got feeling a bit hot and uncomfortable. I opened my eyes to see myself being dogpiled by the girls after falling asleep in my home theater with them; caffeine can only go so far. I pulled myself out and then took out my Scroll and saw it was before noon. Thankfully my cleaning bots already cleaned up the mess for the most part from last night. I really should not have listened to Yang about busting out some alcohol, even if she was joking, and to my surprise, Summer did not stop me, as she said.

" It's not as bad as Qrow was back in Beacon."

I went with some premade Chuhai as it was easy to drink with low alcohol content, plus limiting one can per person. More than a few girls turned out to be lightweights. Poor Ren got dragged by Nora to who knows where. I knew him well. Pyrrha got argumentative, and Emerald was a happy drunk. Ruby got drunk off the atmosphere and was a bit silly. Weiss was a crying drunk. Blake got a bit clingy with me, to my surprise, and Yang could handle her drink.

Neopolitan started creating a bunch of crazy-looking illusion constructs. Argint passed out along with Ilia. Luna began to worship me like a cultist. Summer was surprisingly chill as she asked for another can. Overall, last night was a bit crazy but fun. I went to whip up some stuff for hangovers, as almost everyone is not used to alcohol. Some coconut water mixed with bananas, honey, and ginger into a nice smoothie, along with some toast.

Carrying enough for everyone with Magic, I reentered my home theater and started waking everyone up.

" My head hurts...."

" Here, Ruby, this will help."

I handed Ruby her smoothie and toast before moving on to the others. I'll have to hunt down Ren and Nora later; thankfully, I have an extensive surveillance system at Forever Fall Manor, so finding them should not be too hard. After passing out all the toast and smoothies, I started my hunt for the quiet guy and thunderous girl. It did not take me long to find them naked in one of the guest bedrooms. I think I will just leave them be.

[ Salem Interlude]

Salem found herself confronting some adults targeting a little girl with long black hair and violet eyes. She found it ironic to play the part of a hero after so long, and one of the adults demanded.

" Out of the way, woman! That thing is not human and needs to be destroyed! You are standing against the Himejima family!"

The witch snorted with disdain as she knew the girl behind her's story and honestly found the so-called great Himejima family disgusting and pathetic to the highest order. Tradition has its place, but rules are dead, and people are living; such inflexibility is foolish and makes one weaker rather than stronger. Salem taunted the fools before her.

" A dozen big strong men surrounding a little girl, how impressive the Himejima family must be."

" You!"

" Enough! Woman, I ask you not to involve yourself in my family's business."

Suou, the current head of the Himejima family, and the girl, Akeno Himejima's great uncle, tried to impose on the witch. She found it a laughable attempt as she smirked as even without the Boosted Gear, she could easily deal with them. Salem enjoyed mocking such a simple and weak opponent as the knowledge Silva provided her with about this world and its possible futures gave her a massive advantage. Right on cue, a man, a reincarnated devil, appeared and introduced himself.

" Greetings, I am Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa, Sirzech Lucifer's bishop."

" What do you want, devil?"

Suou demanded with a displeased expression, and the reincarnated devil smiled as he replied.

" To be blunt, the young miss is interested in the woman and girl there. So I would like to see if we can come to an agreeable arrangement."

" I am Rias Gremory of the house of Gremory!"

A little red-haired girl proudly proclaimed her identity, and Salem smiled as everything was going to plan like clockwork.
