One-sided Fate

I stayed put while keeping track of the fight between Artoria and the Saber of Red, which I am assuming is Mordred. I already got Kairi within my sights the moment the Knight of Treachery announced their presence by peeking through a small portal. I debated on what to do. On the one hand, I could probably negotiate with the necromancer to snag his Servant and get some information out of him by offering to lift his curse via the Casters on my side. On the other hand, I already feel outnumbered at home as is. Adding the volatile element that is Mordred to the mix would probably give me a few headaches, and any information from Kairi is perhaps not that useful.

As I pondered my next course of action, I got another Mana signature near Team 2, which made me wonder if the Red Faction is going for a heavy offensive tonight and whether my contacts were incompetent, as they would not dare betray me under the threat of spreading their Family Magecraft and research. Either way, it's not a bad night since I am so much closer to getting my wish by dealing with more of the Red Faction. I opened a small portal near Team 2 and saw who they were facing, Waver and...

The younger version of Iskandar, Alexander?! Okay, that is a little unexpected but ultimately irrelevant because even if Iskandar was summoned, Sakura, Rin, Medusa, Ishtar, and Medea are more than enough to deal with him and Waver. But a watered-down version of the King of Conquers? No contest. I then got a sudden call from Illyasviel and answered from my wrist phone.

" Hello, Illya; what's the issue?"

" Saber is being a muscle head, and I am bored, so I want to give the Master of Red here a scare by having you come over."

I chuckled at the mischievous legal loli and replied.

" Sure, I'll come over; give me a moment or two."

I got up from my spot and decided to open a portal behind Kairi and give him a little scare. I walked through the portal after erasing all trace of myself through Magic, and just as I came through, the necromancer drew his shotgun and was ready to fire but saw nothing but empty air. Kairi looked around, then relaxed as he put away his shotgun and went back to watching the two Sabers fight. I then walked in front of him and revealed myself, which caused him to stumble back as I asked in mock confirmation.

" Kairi Sisigou, I presume?"

He stopped himself from pulling out his shotgun again and sighed as he complained

" Tonight really isn't my night."

" That's putting it mildly, but that aside I have an offer for you."

I took out a Geas Contract and handed it to him; I drew it up when I first learned that he was going to be one of the Masters of Red. It stated that in exchange for information on the Red Faction and his Servant, I would aid him in lifting his curse that prevents him from having children to continue his lineage and would not harm him with ill intent so long as he does not direct any ill will towards my extended family and me. He looked up from the contract and asked me with a skeptical expression.

" Are you serious?"

" Very. I have three Caster Class Servants on my side."

" Three?!"

The necromancer looked at me with shock, then reread the contract before signing, then extended his hand toward me.

" A pleasure doing business with you, Demon King."

" Please, call me Silva."

I shook his hand and snatched his Command Seals, much to his surprise at how easily I did it, and I no longer heard the clashing of steel. I turned to see Artoria and Mordred looking at Kairi and me. I told the two Servants with a bit of humor.

" Don't mind me; go back to your Mother-Daughter bonding."

" What did you say!?"

Mordred bellowed with fury at being called a female, and Artoria looked confused. The Necromancer added with a bit of warning.

" She does not like being referred to as she."

I shrugged, as I did not care about the tomboy knight's issues all that much, and focused on the man before me.

" Now, about the Red Faction."

Currently, Ishtar, Medusa, and Medea are bullying a red-haired young man who is also a Servant, as none of them had any qualms about ganging up on him. The youth was Alexander, and he was riding his beloved black horse as he tried to stay alive. Archer of Black continued to rain down arrows of lights with the support of Caster of Red on the Rider of Red. The red-haired youth complained with a bitter smile.

" Isn't this a bit too unfair?!"

Rider of Black appeared as she launched her chained weapon at the enemy Servant, and he barely evaded with his partner. Alexander called on his lineage to form lightning around his short sword and shot it at the two airborne Servants as he continued to ride away. Ishtar and Medea dodged easily enough and continued to press their attack without mercy. Medusa spread her chains in the path of the enemy Servant, which forced him to have his horse move to the rooftops to avoid being trapped and then bombarded by the two flying Servants.

Meanwhile, Waver was not much better off compared to his Servant when confronting the two sisters. Sakura either belted him with arrows of Magecraft or closed the distance with her Mystic Code in its naginata form, and Rin provided support with her Jewel Magecraft. While unexpectedly summoning the younger version of Iskandar, he now knew that the Servant did know him from the previous Holy Grail War, even if it was just a vague feeling with a hazy memory. That aside, the Mage was busy running from two teenage girls that were actually taking it easy on him at Silva's request.

The foreigner asked for this favor among his faction for the simple reason that he actually likes, Waver as a person. Needless to say, the result is all but decided since neither Master nor Servant of Red had the capacity to overcome their situation. However, the night did not end there, as Team 3 soon came under attack as well.
