Festive Remnant

I, Silva Zelretch Branwen, am still getting used to leading a team despite the months that have gone by. While I still had a room to myself, my team, it still feels weird to refer to them as such, regularly came by to either hang out or work on homework. On the weekends, I put them through their paces by sparring with them and helping with personal training. The four of them are still having difficulty adjusting to the gravity weights I made but can now get around with minimal trouble.

Interestingly enough, both Team RWBY and NALA noticed how I was constantly training my team, and they wanted in on the action, so I gave them all sets of gravity weights as well. I nearly died of laughter seeing Weiss and Yang getting into a hogtied position due to the gravity weights drawing to each other. The snow princess was not amused and started demanding that I free her. I ignored her until she asked nicely for oblivious reasons. It took time for everyone to get used to the gravity weights, but they noticed the benefits once they turned them off during sparring class and got boosts in their speed, strength, and dexterity.

Currently, I am with my team, Team RWBY and NALA, to check out the Vytal Festival in Vale as it is getting started.

" The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!"

Weiss exclaims excitedly, with a rare smile as she generally keeps a neutral expression. Ruby then commented with a slight frown.

" I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much, Weiss. It's kinda weirding me out..."

I jokingly added.

" Did someone give Weiss something funny in her afternoon coffee? Maybe she's high?"

" Quiet you! I am perfectly alright, thank you very much!"

The snow princess turned to us as she retorted a bit angrily and explained her jubilant mood.

" How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!"

Yang added with a sigh.

" I'm starting to agree with your theory that Weiss is high, Silva, as she really knows how to take a good thing and make it boring."

Weiss glared at the blonde, then at me and I chuckled as it made her more cute than intimidating to me. Yang then complained as the smell of the docks hit us.

" Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?"

" I am sure Weiss has a good reason, Yang."

Pyrrha defended the snow princess, and she thanked the polite spartan in turn.

" Thank you, Pyrrha."

" Ugh, that smells like way too much fish!"

Ruby complained as she covered her nose, and Neopolitan did the same with a disgruntled expression. Weiss then explains herself.

" I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And, as a  representative  of Beacon, I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom!"

" Sure, Weiss, keep telling yourself that."

Emerald sarcastically comments, as she probably already guessed the real reason, and Blake reveals.

" She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament."

" You can't prove that!"

The snow princess scoffs, and Nora adds with an excited smile.

" Or better yet, let's break their legs so they can't participate!"

" Nora..."

Ren rebuffs his childhood friend gently with exasperation. We continued to follow behind Weiss, and I slowed down to speak with Blake, and Ilia was next to her.

" So, have you two told your teams about your you-know-what?"

" Neo, Luna, and Argint know already."

The chameleon girl answers and Blake looks away as she rubs her arm as she replies.

" It has been hard to find a good point to talk about it, but I am considering telling them soon."

" Glad to hear it; Ruby and Yang won't care as they only see you as their friend and teammate. While Weiss may be a bit cold but underneath her icy exterior is a girl with a warm heart."

" I know, but it's not something that comes up in a conversation."

I advised my favorite catgirl about revealing her faunus nature.

" Just tell them in your room by taking off your bow and taking pictures of their surprised faces."

I got a smile out of Blake as she retorts.

" I'm not you, Silva."

" Come on; you can use it to hold over Weiss's head when she gets to be a bit too much."

" Maybe..."

The ninja cat girl quietly says in return, and I suddenly hear.

" Hey, stop that Faunus!"

I turned to see my least favorite monkey in this world escape a ship he clearly stowaway on. The reason I dislike Sun Wukong is simple; he is an a*shole. He stows away for fun, and he leaves his team high and dry, maybe for a good reason, but he did not apologize to his team for the longest time, and it took fighting a dangerous criminal organization that almost took over Vacuo to knock some sense into him. Speaking of the Crown, maybe I should swing by Vacuo and deal with them before they do any serious damage. But I hate the desert, sand gets in everywhere, and I do mean EVERYWHERE.

The monkey-tailed troublemaker runs off while saying joyfully.

" Thanks for the ride, guys! Haha!"

" You no-good stowaway!"

One of the sailors cursed Sun, and he replied as he took out a banana.

" Hey! A no-good stowaway would've been caught! I'm a great stowaway!"

The monkey faunus then runs off after finishing his banana and tossing it on the ground for one of the sailors to slip on and fall. I did what any responsible Huntsman-in-training would do; I knocked out the criminal with a kick to the face as he passed my group and even left a footprint as a bonus. I picked up Sun and handed him to the sailors to deal with him.

" Thanks."

One of them said. I shrugged as I replied.

" No problem."

I returned to my group, and they all looked at me with various expressions, and I asked.

" What?"

" Why did you do that?"

Blake asked me, and I picked up the context of the question that only the other faunus members of the group noticed.

" He was a faunus giving other faunus a bad name by breaking the law, and I wanted to show that not all faunus fell into the criminal stereotype."

The ninja cat girl processed my answer, and the group went back to wandering around Vale. I then saw a pair of familiar faces, Penny and Lucifer. Weiss, oh my word, fangirled at seeing my creation/son.

" Is that Lucifer from L2!?"

L2 was the coined term for Lucifer and Lilith's music-making work, and I just now realized aside from those that have spent a lot of time at my home, like my live-ins, no one knows I am the creator/father of Lucifer and Lilith. Ruby then asked everyone.

" Do you think he is willing to give out autographs?"

" We can certainly ask, little sister."

Yang said with a grin, and even Blake was on board the bandwagon.

" I never expected to see Lucifer in Vale; unlike his sister Lilith, he rarely shows himself to the public."

Neapolitan elbowed me, and I looked at her to see her grin mischievously at me. I couldn't help but wryly smile as I followed the rest of them. They, unfortunately, ran into the invisible guards I built for my Artificial Intelligent Data Idols, as trouble always follows fame and fortune. The invisible guard robots let me through but not anyone else, for oblivious reasons, much to everyone's surprise.

" Wait, Silva; you can get through the invisible wall!? Please get me an autograph!"

Ruby begged, along with the others, and I walked up to Lucifer and called out.

" Hey, Lucifer, on a date?"

" No, father..."

He curtly replied, and Penny then introduced herself.

" So you are Lucifer's creator. Salutations, I'm Penny; it's nice to meet you."

" You, as well, Penny."

I already knew that both of them were in contact through social media and even exchanged Scroll numbers. From what I have seen through Lucifer's memories during his regular check-up, their relationship is platonic so far, and I am not sure if it will become something more without the existence of hormones. Only time will tell. I then asked Lucifer.

" Hey, Lucifer, can I trouble you to meet and greet some of my friends that don't know about me being your creator."

" Sure, but why don't they know?"

" I am not a braggart."

I plainly stated, and the AIDI comments.

" True."

" I would love to meet your friends, Mr.Lucifer's Creator."

" Just call me Silva, Penny."

I told the android girl, and she replied excitedly.

" Certainly!"

I led Lucifer and Penny to my group, and Weiss nervously introduced herself, much to my amusement.

" I-I am Weiss Schnee, and I would love to do a duet with you, Lucifer, if at all possible."

Lucifer lazily looked toward me, and I shrugged as it was his decision, not mine. He replied neutrally.

" I will take it under advertisement."

" Really?!"

The snow princess practically squealed, and I had to stop myself from laughing my butt off. I knew Lucifer and Lilith were big due to the sheer amount of subscriptions they had to their site on the CCTS, but I did think people I knew personally would be such big fans of them. Penny then introduced herself to the others.

" Salutations, my name is Penny!"

" Uh, hi, friend?"

Ruby replied before focusing on Lucifer.

" Ah, mister Lucifer can I have an autograph?"

He looked toward me, and I gestured to him that it was his choice.

" Fine..."

He took out some paper and gave his autograph, and Ruby excitedly exclaimed.

" I will treasure it forever!"

A lot of autographs later, the group finally let my creation/son go, and he gave me his goodbye.

" See you at home, Father."

" Yeah, see you later."

I replied, and suddenly, I felt a lot of heated stares at my back and turned to see Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Pyrrha, Ren, Nora, and Ilia looking at me curiously. I sighed as I realized I had a lot of explaining to do, but oh well, it was going to come out eventually, anyway. Penny then came back and asked Ruby.

" What did you call me?"

[ Raven Interlude]

" Run away, and you become bacon, Pig."

Raven threatened Oolong as she agreed to help some villagers deal with their monster problem, namely Oolong, to get another Dragon Ball with Goku and Bulma. The shapeshifting pig shuddered under the former bandit's glare and was subservient.

" Okay, okay, you made your point."

Oolong deeply regretted ever crossing paths with Raven as he made the mistake of trying to trick her and failing miserably. He showed up at the village right on schedule to pick up his new young bride but was met with the former bandit instead, and she was not intimidated by his shapeshifting and had a no-nonsense approach to handling him. He nearly lost an arm trying to run away from her, but she thankfully used the back of her blade. So he had to lead her and the villagers to his home, where the rest of the girls he took from the village resided in his home.

" Oh, hey, Oolong, did you get my stuff?"

One of the girls asked as she made herself a drink, and the villagers saw their daughters were more than fine in fact, they were living better here than back at their own home. Oolong then revealed the truth of how he lost any sense of dominance over the village girls by begging the villagers to take them back. With that, another Dragon Ball was added to the collection.
