It was going to take a week or two for Ghira to draw up the necessary paperwork to own the land needed for the Menagerie Department of Research and Development, or MDRD( Mordred) for short, to be built. To earn the chief of Menagerie's trust, I explained that I had multiple Semblances and my actions in Atlas. Between the collective knowledge of Atlas's scientific community and removing a number of the most discriminatory members of that kingdom's high society at finding them treating faunus like hunks of meat to be sold and bought, he gave me a chance to be good on my word.

While Ghira didn't approve of some of my actions, he decided to give me the benefit of the doubt, and our partnership was set. I went back to Vale for the time being with Argint and Neopolitan, plus Sir Spot. My home in Vale was finally finished, a two-story mansion with coloring that matched the Forever Fall forest behind it, which was mainly red and black so it wouldn't be an eyesore. Needless to say, the girls were happy with our new home and went shopping for new furniture, and that included everyone except me since I wasn't too interested in interior decoration.

After they left to do some shopping, I went to see if my home in Anima was also done. I opened a portal to see Raven lounging on the rooftop garden as she enjoyed her tea. The architecture of my place in Anima resembles the Mistralese(Japanese) style native to this part of the world, with a wide and expansive mansion that has three floors and a basement where my lab resides. I only have one lab to work on my projects currently, but that will change in the future. I sent my construction bots to build my bases in the Solitas tundra and Anima's volcanic region to harvest resources on the sly from the kingdoms native to those continents since they will be made far outside their borders.

I walked up to Raven and asked.

" How do you like our new home?"

She smiled as she replied.

" It's well-fortified but elegant with the hidden defense systems you had installed, Silva."

" I'm glad you like it, Raven."

I sat down next to her and used magic in front of her to conjure a ball of fire, a bolt of lightning, and an ice crystal. Her eyes widened at me for using magic, and she asked in shock.

" How?!"

" I asked the Relic of Knowledge to tell me how I could become stronger, and Jinn showed me how to acquire Magic on my own without relying on taking it from others so I could confront Salem on more even grounds."

I banished my display of Magic, and the former bandit chief looked at me intently and then asked.

" Can anyone acquire Magic through the method you used?"

" In theory..."

I explained to her the unstable increase in Aura that I used with my method to get Magic while telling her my concerns about the third component that allows for this increase to happen, along with the hint Jinn provided. I also told her about my meeting with both the God of Light and the God of Darkness, which resulted in me getting a new Semblance. I don't plan on spreading this method unless I have to because it might earn the ire of the Brother Gods, which would result in Remnant termination or possibly worse.

I decided to give a demonstration of my new Semblance Transmutation; I got the idea from Full Metal Alchemist manga from my previous life. I picked this ability because it would help with my plans for the future, but it does have limits. I analyze, deconstruct, and then reconstruct organic and inorganic matter plus Dust, but only if I have enough knowledge to understand what I am working with. Still, Soul Archive has me covered in that regard with Atlas's scientific community collective knowledge in my head.

Another limitation is that I can't transmute Aura-protected people and items, so I can't one-shot Salem's inner circle if they are beyond redemption by stopping at deconstruction to break down their bodies. However, this is only applicable if Aura is actively used to protect people and objects, so sneak attacks from me will always be fatal or critical. I took out shards of Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind Dust and used Transmutation to convert them into a shard of Gravity Dust. Raven looked at the newly made Gravity Dust and commented.

" Interesting and useful, ordinarily artificially creating compound Dust require special heavy machinery, but why ask for this Semblance from the God of Light, Silva?"

" I have more than enough firepower with Magic and Dark Wrath. Soul Archive covers my need for information gathering, and Door To Darkness eliminates any concerns related to distance and evasion. So I needed something for creation and defense to make me well-rounded enough to cover all my bases."

The former bandit chief nodded in understanding and commented.

" I pity anyone foolish enough to make you their enemy."

Of course, Magic could probably do the same as Transmutation, but as my new Semblance, it can grow and become stronger and more versatile in interesting ways with enough practice and knowledge. I spent my time with Raven and April to see how they were adjusting to our new home and even joined them in the hot springs for a small celebration. Time went by until it became evening, and I went back to Vale to see if the girls were back. I found a team of movers bringing in new furniture to fill the manor, and the twins were directing them. I went over to them to see what they had got.

" Melanie, Miltia, get anything interesting for our home?"

They looked at one another and smiled as they replied.

" It's a surprise!"

I shrugged at their response with a smile and said.

" I look forward to what you have in store."

It was mostly sweets because all the girls had a sweet tooth, but for me, I made pizzas from scratch to share with everyone. Just some self-rising flour with water for the dough, then some tomatoes with herbs and spices in a blender to make the sauce, and ten minutes later, after bringing it all together, the pizzas were done. After calling everyone to dinner, night soon followed, and I went around the manor to make sure everything was as it should be.
