Beached Black

Silva stood outside the inn he set up on Azure Island, not far from Kuo Kuana, and he was in a simple pair of dark gray swim trunks with his emblem printed on the right side, a ring of white leopard spots with five vertical claw marks in the center. He was waiting for everyone else to get changed, and the first aside from him were Whitley and Klein. The youngest Schnee had on a pair of white swim trunks on with a matching white tank top, while the butler had on an old fashion black one-piece men's swimsuit that covered his legs and torso.

Whitley looked at Silva in surprise or, more precisely, the snow leopard faunus's scars but didn't ask anything about them as he felt it wasn't his business. Klein came up to Silva and said with a friendly smile.

" Mr.Branwen, I would like to thank you for this little holiday for the Schnee family, as it has been far too long since they have had a chance to relax truly."

" It's my pleasure, Klein."

The snow leopard faunus replied and then decided to kill some time while he waited for the others by talking with the butler.

" So, how have things been since Willow's divorce?"

" While the young miss and master were a bit at a loss at first without Jacques... guiding them, but they are adjusting."

While Klein and Silva talk to one another, Whitley keeps to himself on the side as they all wait for the ladies to finish changing.

Raven took off her clothes and tied her hair back in a loose ponytail in the women's dressing room. The former bandit chief puts her clothes in a basket in a cubby and gets out her swimsuit from her travel bag when Willow comes up to her and asks.

" Excuse me, but we have met before, right?"

Raven looked at the Schnee matriarch with an arched eyebrow but confirmed Willow's question after seeing that Yang was out of earshot.

" Yes, Silva had me heal your Aura pathways a while back but keep quiet about that little escapade as I rather not have any attention drawn to myself."

" I understand, but I am curious about one other thing."

" And that is?"

Raven asked dryly, and Willow answered with a curious look.

" Your relationship with Silva."

The former bandit chief eyed the Schnee matriarch for a moment and saw a certain feeling in her blue eyes that she recognized. Raven then gestured for Willow to come closer so she could explain in detail and quietly. The former bandit chief then whispered in the Schnee matriarch's ear, and Willow was a little surprised at what she learned about Raven and Silva's relationship.

Weiss was unsure of how to feel about this holiday that was arranged by her mother and Silva but quickly changed her tune when she saw a familiar redhead. The Schnee heiress walked up and asked politely.

" Excuse me but correct me if I am wrong. Are you Pyrrha Nikos?"

" Well, yes."

Pyrrha scratched the back of her head shyly at being recognized by a stranger, and Weiss smiled as she introduced herself.

" I am Weiss Schnee; it is a pleasure to meet you, Pyrrha."

" It's nice to meet you as well, Weiss."

" Mind if I ask you something, Pyrrha?"

" Certainly, Weiss, ask away."

The polite spartan said in a friendly tone.

" How come you are here since Silva and yourself can be considered rivals of sorts?"

The Schnee heiress recognized the redhead from watching the Mistral regional cup and admired her combat ability since she was practically untouchable in the tournament aside from the finals, where she faced Silva under his ridiculous alias. Pyrrha corrected Weiss.

" Silva and I aren't rivals per se but rather

acquaintances since we spar occasionally."

Weiss was surprised by this information, but before she could ask anything else, a certain blonde fireball walked up with a red-colored shadow following close behind.

" Hi there. I'm Yang, and this is my little sis Ruby. Who are you two?"

" How rude! We were talking!"

" Oh, come on, I was just introducing myself to someone the same as age as me."

The Schnee heiress bristled at being interrupted, but the polite spartan went ahead and returned Yang's greeting.

" Hello, Yang and Ruby; it's nice to meet you. I'm Pyrrha."

" Don't encourage her!"

Weiss complained to Pyrrha, and she held her hands up in surrender as she tried to soothe the Schnee heiress.

" Now, Weiss, can't we get along? After all, we are here together to enjoy the accommodations Silva has set up for everyone."

" What she said, ice queen but anyway, how do you two know that guy?"

" Do you mean Silva, Yang?"

The blonde nodded, and Weiss snorted as she said.

" I barely know that rapscallion!"

Pyrrha frowned at her sort-of friend being insulted but withheld from saying anything and answered Yang's question.

" We met at the Mistral regional cup, and he came by Argus, where I live, one day as I was training and offered a sparring match to see how we compared since the tournament. What about you, Yang? How do you know him?"

Yang vaguely answered as she looked down.

" It's my mom that knows him too well, in fact."

The blonde said the last part of her sentence to herself more than anything since she still had mixed feelings about her mother and Silva's relationship.

After a little over an hour, the ladies finally came out in their swimsuits. The Malachite twins were in matching bikinis in separate colors, red and white, with their hair tied back in different ways. Miltia had her hair in a basic ponytail, while Melanie had her hair braided. Emerald wore a light green two-piece swimsuit with a white skirt. Neopolitan picked out a risque monokini that started white, then faded to pink, then brown from top to bottom, which left little to the imagination. Argint was wearing a solid black halter swimsuit that contrasted against her almost translucent skin.

Raven picked out a dark red plunge swimsuit that showed off her mature figure, and April went with a modest reddish-brown one-piece. Yang came out in a yellow sports top bikini, and Ruby followed close behind in a frilled red one-piece. Willow chose to wear a white plandzh one-piece, and Winter picked out a white sports suit with blue accents with her hair down. Weiss went with a white skirtini that had blue-gray accents on the skirt with an off-center ponytail.

Robyn showed up in a forest-green string bikini, with Fiona in the same color one-piece. Joanna came in an orange sports suit, while May chose a blue bikini that matched her hair. Scarlet picked out a strapless red one-piece, and Pyrrha went with a red halter bikini with her hair tied up in a neat ponytail. Silva admired the view and stated to everyone.

" Ladies, you all look stunning."

Now the beach party officially began.
