The Pack

The first thing I did was call up everyone I knew to have them pack and come down to stay at my house. I called people that lived farther away first so that they could get here in time. I could only get in contact with 34 people out of the 57 I tried to call.

They all must have a lot of questions for me when they get here, but for now that can wait. I don't care how much it will cost but I must get supplies in less then 3 days. After all money is nothing in a few years after this outbreak happens.

I'm just glad that this old me had a bunker/house already bought before anything even started to happen. To bad we never used it in the future, because I was in to much of a panic to remember about it. Just thinking back to it I was pretty dumb.

This time I won't make any of the mistakes I made then. In my bank I have around 4.2 million dollars left to buy supplies. I could also us that to buy out a store. There was a food shortage about 5 years into the outbreak.

A radio might come in handy too if we need to trade later. I think I might know some people that would trade stuff with us too. Others that I traded with back then were just scammers.

Ambushed tons of people just for there items, and when someone didn't give up there items. They got killed or sold off as a slave to work for gang leaders. I think there where only 2 gangs that didn't have slaves.

My shipments should come in a couple or a few days. Lets just hope it does sooner then later, because I would still need to unpack it all into the storage room. The town won't be safe after it all happens so we must stay clear from it.

There is only 4 days left to get ready and set up everything. Only 3 people have showed up so far, so the helping hands is limited. I was right though about them asking me questions.

When I explained some of it to them they looked at me like I was going insane. I had to bribe them to help me even after I told them. I have to be careful though because I don't know if I'm the only one who knows what will happen in the near future.

If someone does know about what's about to start, then I just hope that they were on a good side and not on someone else's side. That would be bad news for me and everyone else that is alive. The gangs only showed up a few years into the outbreak.
