The System

Izuku Midoriya, a boy that had his dream ripped from him.

As he sat on his bed he began to think of the day that changed everything for him, the day he visited the quirk doctor.

He thought he was just a late bloomer like some of the other kids he knew, but in the end that wasn't the case, he was quirkless.

After that day everything for him went downhill, he was made an outcast by the people he thought were his friends.

He was bullied by the person he admired and thought was his friend, Katsuki Bakugo.

He admired him, he did, but over the years he came to loathe him. With the constant gloating, and him constantly beating on him he wondered how he was going to be a hero.

In the end, he just had to accept that he couldn't be a hero, even if he could he would be a burden to others for his quirklessness.

"I guess that's it, huh." The green-haired boy said. "What a pathetic way for my dream to go."

*Ding*

"Huh." As Izuku looked up he saw the thing that would change his life.

[Booting]

[A Bad End System, activated]

[You who have been rejected by the world for something not in your ability, you who has but a spark of a dream.]

[You will be given power for a price, and that price is to save, will you accept?]

As thoughts rushed into the green-haired boy's head, he could only say one thing. "Yes."

[Terminal activated]

[Person found, Katsuki Bakugo]

[Your 'friend' Bakugo is going to be attacked by a villain, find a way to prevent his death.]

[Location, Musutafu]

[As this is the first quest the rewards will be random]

[Reward: Full system unlock, a random evolvable quirk, A random skill, and a random weapon]

As he read the floating words, my mind began to race, Bakugo was going to be attacked by a villain. Hell, he kinda deserved it, but he was going to die. No matter how much of an asshole he was, He had to save him.

As he began to rush out of the house, he began to collect things that I might need. With so many types of quirks out there he had to be as prepared as he could. He gathered some things like knives, lighters, some hair spray, and things that could be used as rope, just in case Bakugo was stuck somewhere.

After around five minutes he was ready, he had made things like a makeshift flamethrower, and crossbow. Running out of the house he began to make his way to Musutafu.

On his way, he began to check his phone for updates on villain attacks. After about three minutes he finally heard a boom, it had come from the local arcade.

Running over as fast as he could, Izuku saw it. The villain that had captured Bakugo was the same one that had captured him.

He was confused about why hadn't he been in jail, All Might had already captured him.

Slowly calming himself down he began to observe what was happening in detail.

"So the heroes can't get close enough for them to save Bakugo because he's using his quirk, and while that's happening the villain is threatening to kill him if they come close."

Looking around he could see things like broken chunks of the building and sideways.

'If I can grab one of those and throw it into the eye of that villain, I'll be able to cause an opening when I get close.

As Izuku continued to look for an opening, he saw that every time Bakugo would use his quirk on the pile of sludge it would seemingly tense to prepare for the impact, resulting in an opening.

As dug into his backpack and pulled out the makeshift flamethrower.

Preparing himself, Izuku saw that Bakugo was about to release another explosion. At that moment he ran to the villain.

As he ran into the battle he could hear the yells of heroes from behind him telling him to not go any further.

In the end, he didn't care, if he could save Bakugo all of this would have been worth it.

As he rushed forward he could see Bakugo staring at him, getting more and more agitated, as if he would refuse to be saved by him.

'Idiot.'

As Izuku rushed forward he picked up a small chunk of sidewalk that had been destroyed.

As the sludge villain saw the familiar-looking kid get closer, he seemed to roar at him with unbridled rage.

"Your the kid that caused me to get snagged by All Might, It'll be fun killing you!"

Izuku hearing this flinched, almost stopping. In the end, he decided to keep going, he couldn't just let Bakugo die.

"Holy Shit kid, your still approaching me even though I'm gonna kill you!?"

"I can't save that asshole without beating the shit outta you." Saying this Izuku proceeds to throw the rock in his hand at the villain's eye.

Staggering the muck slightly lets go of Bakugo. Seeing this Izuku grabs onto his shirt tugging him out of the sludge.

During this process, the sludge villain recovered, angrier than ever.

"I'll rip you limb from limb you little shit!"

At this moment everything seemed to slow down, almost coming to halt.

Izuku knew if he reacted a little too late he and Bakugo would be dead.

Looking over, Bakugo had already raised his hand to blast the villain. Doing the same he raised his hand and pressed down on the hair spray connected to a lighter

*woof*

The pile of sludge had tried to back away, but it had been too late, some of its sludge had been burned not being able to move it around anymore.

Seeing this Izuku looked at Bakugo and said "Carry me, your stronger, and faster so you'll be able to make it to the heroes quicker, and while you're doing that I can hold him off with my fire.

Bakugo looked at him as if he were crazy saying "Fuck you Deku, I'm taking this villain out myself."

"Katsuki if we don't leave we'll die!"

"Your dumbass might, but I sure as hell won't."

"WHAT ABOUT YOUR MOM?"

Hearing this, Bakugo seemed to finally be thinking it over. Running over to Izuku and shoulder carrying him.

Having finally been knocked out of the daze he was in, the sludge villain started to chase after them.

"When I get you two your fucking dead."

Then seemingly out of nowhere, Death Arms and Backdraft appeared, causing the villain to come to a halt in his chase after the kids.

Now that Bakugo had been secured they were able to move in.

10 mins later, Izuku and Bakugo were being checked for injuries, and both of them have some cuts and a couple of bruises.

Izuku had at first been scolded for his carelessness, but soon after he had been praised for his bravery and heroism, some heroes had come up to him and given him cards for their agencies.

On his way home, Bakugo had run up to him yelling about how he didn't need his help.

Finally getting home, Izuku lay on his bed thinking about what had happened today.

When he was finally about to relax, a screen appeared in his vision.

[Congratulations, you have completed your mission.]

[Your rewards can now be distributed.]
