Goblin Den

As a goblin stands at the entrance to a den within the dungeon, his eyes scout the area, its black eyes breezing over the space making sure nothing slips past or gets through. Yet, within one swift movement, its head goes flying, blood trailing with his head as it plummets to the floor.

"Not good enough." Cipher grunts, his eyes glowing as he wrecks the reward of the fallen goblin, though it was cut in half.

He stands there, his bloody dagger in his hands, a loose dirty cloth around his waist the only thing that stops his private part from showing.

'It's been two days and I still can' find a way to properly wield the dagger. Even after sacrificing some of my exp to gain more knowledge of the gluttony dagger, all I do know at this point is that it eats away my dark energy making me quicker and stronger.'

Deep in thought, another goblin charges towards him holding an axe. His eyes glows red once more as she dodges it by moving to the side and aims right for its neck and slices its nape.

[Goblins den awakening]

'Goblin den, one of the hidden parts of a dungeon which is said to be filled with weapons and other stuff, the only thing is that it's really hard to defeat all the goblins within it.'

[Quest: Defeat all the goblins Reward: Skill]

"Finally a skill." He flips the dagger and it glints signaling the beginning of the task.

First ten charge out, and he prepares himself.

[Charging: !% dark energy in use]

The goblins grumbles ripples through the air as they head towards him. Cipher sighs, trying to keep a clear mind, though this might be his fourth fight with these green goblins he still has this fear of dying and uncertainty weighing on his mind, this constant thought of whether he might die today or tomorrow.

"No, right now I'm alive and that's all that matters."

Fixing the dagger he throws it at the first one, catching it off guard then, with a burst of energy he reaches up to it, coming in on the side and digs it into its neck. "One down."

Following that, he pulls it out and jumps up, three hammers slamming down the floor he was on.

Biting his lips, he realizes his mistake. "Shit, not in the air" A spear comes hurling at him, and just as it gazes at his side, he deflects it, only droplets of blood spilling onto the floor.

He then lands on the floor, pushing back a couple of feet, while holding his wound. Without a second delay he presses back in, not taking a second to check out his wounds, his only goal right now is to fight.

[Charge complete: 2% Dark energy]

The knife shimmers and so does his eyes as he leaps up into the air once more, and sends down the dagger right between them and unexpectedly the floor rumbles then cracks lifting up, knocking all of the goblins off course and even him.

[Charge error: Draining life span]

Life seems to suck out him, the energy he just had was gone, everything just seems to be slipping away from him as the dagger continues to become more stronger, and abruptly red chains sprout out the other end of it, wrapping around the goblins and strangling them in the process.

[Link is being severed]

"No." He drops to the floor, his legs giving up as he clenches his chest. "This is mine and it will obey me, just like everyone else." He bares his teeth, veins popping up on his forehead and neck, the edges of his vision growing dark until he passes out.
