CHAPTER FOURTEEN - Cheat codes and no sword skills
There was only one thing, at this point, that could stop the Angels, and that was the gods themselves. But due to previous experience, they'd rather let the world burn than move themselves to help out my precious empire. So, yes, a bit of a big jump, but it was the only one I could take. The last shot.
"Hmm, but to do anything… I'll need to be an equal to the gods," I said thoughtfully. Gods - let's revise what I know about them.
There's a superior in this world, someone above even the person who sent me here, Frsk Sfsn. They are called luck, fortune, yada yada. Whatever. I don't have anything to do with them, but then one thing's for sure - since that superior being is the only one who's immortal, all the other gods are….
Killable, just with endless lifespans. Even though Eden's books, I found out that we were originally all gods - but over time, they killed eachother, and only a select few - 12, to be exact - were left, the strongest of which is Frsk Sfsn, god of Happy Endings. Corny.
And happy endings? Doesn't every book end when it reaches its happy ending? a chill went down my spine. As soon as I reached the goal of saving my empire, I, too, would perish. The end. How in the world was that a happy ending? Then, I slapped my cheeks. "No way! Focus, Amaria!" I whispered to myself, kneeling over the papers. One way I could go about this was normal training - but, even with 300 years on my hands, I only knew the basics of sword training. That wouldn't work, then.
"Why doesn't this place have any cheat codes…." I hopelessly buried my head in my elbows. Game over. Another year was thrown to the wind.
The lightbulb in my head suddenly flickered. My head jolted up. That was it! cheat codes!
