Annual Rebirths to End the Empire

"I didn't want things to end like this." She said, looking around. The empire she had tried so hard to protect was destroyed. Plagues, cross-empire wars, nothing was left. She clenched her fists, nails digging into skin. Drawing blood. Suddenly, her head jolted up as voices echoed. Whispering in her ear. Temping. "Your curse is to undo what was written on paper. Nothing more, nothing less." She smiled. Yes, the curse. The curse would save her. "So send me back. Give me Endless rebirths. Until I get it right." ~~~~ Pls help dis rando author ;-; I have dirt bank account and dirt writing skills but gold imagination ~~~~ Please give me viewssssss art release every 5k ~~~~ *read till at least the second chapter before you decide to ditch it pls* - UPDATES RANDOMLY (deal with it, suckers!) CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE - The Gyatt that Rises out of the Horizon

CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE - The Gyatt that Rises out of the Horizon

"I did all the research, so why are your eyes so sleepless?" Noa asked irritably, sipping a cup of coffee. Both of us had gathered again the next week under Duke Feet's nose, to stare at the blank map again.

"So here's the good part. I found out you have to squeeze lemon on it to bring out the ink." Noa said, grabbing a half-lemon and sparingly showering the map with it. Ink flickered into view, and I stared in horror at the map.

"Someone's making fun of us, right?"

The map was correctly drawn like all the other maps I had seen in past lives, but it was incorrectly labeled. Adar mountains were renamed "The Gyatt that rises out of the horizon". Like that. "It's Gen Z slang…" I groaned, putting my forehead into my hand. "Yeah. I noticed too," Noa said mournfully. Then he tapped on a red circle on the map. "This is probably where we need to go."

"But what does the red circle lead to, even?" I asked, and Noa shrugged. "I dont know. Anyway, its near the small town called Airre. Should we head there?"

"Ah. But I'll need to ask Duke Feet…" I said hesitantly, trailing off. Noa got up. "Good luck with that."

"Hey, wait-"

But he was already out the door. I sighed and got up. Better to get this over with.
