Chapter Three

Today was my big day. Today, I turn 18 and I finally find my mate and we can live happily forever.

I could smell her already. She smelt like candies and roses.

She was nearby. I took my bath and followed the trail of her beautiful scent.

Where the scent was leading me was not sitting right with me. It led me to the attic and the only person I knew lived there, was none other than..

CandyLaya?.....

She was my mate? Damn it!

She can never be my mate !

But she was! My mate and the future Luna was that ugly bitch CandyLaya.

I barged into her room snd found her crouched in the corner of her room.

My wolf Caspian howled happily gor finding his mate , but wanted to know what was going on in her mind.

She realised my presence and bowed to me. I walked yo her and helped her up. I didn't know what I was doing but I guessed it was the mate bonding.

"You are my mate! But I don't want you! So I reject you here and now! You're no longer my mate and no longer the future Luna of this pack" Killian growled at her.

His wolf Caspian was angry with him for doing such a thing.

Candy was broken and so was her wolf Kayla. But she knew better.

"I don't like you either. In fact, I hate you. So I accept your rejection and reject you also!!" Killian's wolf jowled miserably and heartbreakingly and so did Candy's Wolf.

It was the first time that Killian noticed Candy's wolf. He sighed and stomped out of the room.

Candy sat down on the floor and sobbed about her dead. She wished to die. So she did what she always did. She picked up a blade and cut her wrists in multiple places.

But her wounds healed immediately. Faster than any other wolf would. She never understood why that happened.

'I don't like Killian one bit'

Her wolf whimpered.

"It's alright hun. We'll soon be gone anyway" Candy consoled her.

After having about 3 hours rest, the pack doctor transferred her to her room in the attic. She was grateful that she was here all alone. Away from everyone's shit.

The door to her roomnopened slowly, revealing her little brother Edward. He was her only real family in the world now. He was her cousin but when his parents also died like how her parents died, she took the responsibility of taking care of him.

"Come over Ed" she called out to him. He was a cute little boy with good manners. He was very observant and saw how Candy was being maltreated in the pack.

He once said out of the blue

"Candy? One day, I'll set you free from how everyone treats you okay?" That day remained indelible in her heart and mind.

He was such a good child.

"What's wrong Ed? Are you hungry?" She asked him. He nodded before she smiled a damaged to get up despite the pain she felt within her.

"Come on, let's go get you something to eat" she said as she held his small palm in hers and walked out of the room.

She limped to the kitchen and got him some waffles and some orange juice. Suddenly, Killian walked into the kitchen with an angry look. He glared at Candy and rolled his eyes at her whilst both their wolves howled to be set free to have each other.

Killian continued to false at Candy, whilst Candy pretended to not realize his very existence. That made him very pissed off.

He would clear his throat intentionally or drop a spoon, just to get her to look at him. She fed Edward silently before getting up and limping back to her room, with Edward behind her and her wolf howling to Killian's wolf.

After entering her room, she lay down to sleep as Edward tucked her in and walked to his room downstairs. She was happy to at least have a good cousin like him. He was a sweet little boy.

The door to her room suddenly was sent flying and telling from the scent, it was Killian. She didn't bother to look at him. The next thing she knew it, he had lain beside her and was staring her right in the eyes

She turned to the other side of the bed, but swiftly, he appeared there too. She ignored him while he continued to stare at her.

She knew that it was suis wolf that had taken over. Her own wolf was hopping happily. He suddenly caressed her cheek and smiled.

"You're very beautiful Candy, oh..and you too Kayla" Killian's wolf added on order not to make Candy's wolf mad.

Candy looked at him motionless while Kayla grinned happily.

"Caspian? I like you better than Killain. But I don't like you saying such things to my face when you're in Killian's human form. It's heartbreaking" Candy confessed. Caspian smiled and hugged her. She knew he was sorry.

Abruptly, Caspian's face turned from calm to vicious. It was obvious Killian had taken over his body once again. He glared at her whilst she looked away.

"Don't think you can have a chance with me Whore! You're ugly and repugnant. I hate everything about you and I wish you died!!" Killian spat at her.

It pierced through her like a thorn.

"I hate me too. Trust me, even more than you do. And I wish I died too, at least all this pain will get numbed and I can float in the night sky and look at how my miserable life was and cry. Trust me, I hate me too..." Those words tore Killian apart. He couldn't stand there any longer. He barged out of the room. He would die of sadness if he continued to listen to her speak like that.

Candy's lady were numbered. She knew it. It was just a matter kfbtjme before her name would become a thing of the past and her mate would find someone better that he would love.

With a tear dripping from her eye, she closed her eyes and said a slight prayer to the wolven goddess.

"Set Me Free!"

A beautiful lady walked up to her. She had a positive aura around her. She smiled at Candy. Candy thought she was hallucinating but she wasn't.

"Hello Queen CandyLaya" the woman greeted with a smile on her face.

Candy looked confused. She smiled back and asked

"Who are you please? And why do you call me that?"

The lady smiled at her and whispered

"Inside the deepest and darkest depths of your soul, lies a strong 17 year old girl, who has been named the Queen of all Wolves and is the right heir of the Wolven goddess"

Candy was still confused.

"I'm sorry?"

The lady smiled

"I'm your Wolved Goddess and you're my rightful heir. Soon Candy...Soon"

The lady suddenly disappeared into thin air. Candy was left aghast. She didn't know how to react. She was the Queen and that lady was the Wolven Goddess?

Candy shook her head. Kayla; her wolf howled.

'It's our destiny hun. Let's face it!"

Candy shook her head and picked up a razor that laid under her bed. She carved into her wrist and marvelled at how her wrist healed easily. Faster than any other wolf would.

She truly was a special wolf. But she didn't want to be. She wanted to be normal and leave this life of pain and razors.
