Chapter Thirty Five

Dylan clenched his fists at the thought, why couldn't he protect the people he cared about?

He'd tried his best, gotten stronger and stronger over the course of time but it has never been enough to protect and he feared that it would never be enough as well. All of his efforts...Might never be enough.

Anna tried to force a smile to lighten up the atmosphere, everyone just seemed so down, it wasn't something she was used to but then she decided against it.

 'What am I smiling for?' she thought to herself. There wasn't any reason to smile...so much had happened in just one night, no matter how hard she tried to lift the spirits of everyone...She would probably fail miserably.

" Dylan, Su Chen. Thank you" Anna said holding both their hands, Chesa had told her about Eve's barrettes before so she knew she wasn't going to see them for a long time.
