Chapter Forty One

Staring at their lovely reunion Anna smiled for the first time in a long time. She thought of her birth mother, would their reunion be like this?

She thought of Nathan's promise to her before, unfortunately he couldn't fulfill his promise because he had no idea where her father had sent their mother to.

It was something that has continued to weigh on her mind. She wondered if her mother was okay, if her father was hurting her...If she knew anything about her being alive and well.

Anna's expression turned cold at the thought of that man. He was clearly crazy! Hurting his family this way was definitely craziness.

"You must be Angel's friends" Xi Yao stared at the girls with a warm expression.

"Mom, this is Anna and Amber. They have been taking care of me for the past two years" Angel said with bright eyes. She looked at the both of them lovingly and her mother couldn't help but smile at how close they seemed.
