83 Beautiful yet stupid

After the school ended, I was greeted by Itsuki on my way home.

"Good afternoon Nanase-san."

"Good afternoon Nakano-san."

I was planning to visit right back home after classes but, after looking at her pleading eyes, looks like I will have to wait.

"*Sigh* let's go to the library, shall we?" I proposed the idea after seeing her gripping her notebook tightly.

"If you say so, then fine. Nanase-san." She bowed a little to thank me.

Although Itsuki wanted me to teach her, she didn't wanted to waste much of my time. I was giving them tuition for two hours every alternate day and they were even paying me for it. That's why, Itsuki was hesitant to ask me to help her right now.

As I started walking towards the school library, Itsuki slowly followed me.

After a few minutes of walking without a single word, we reached the library.

"So Nakano-san, do you have your weekly quiz paper on you right now?" I asked her before entering the library.

"No... I don't have any right now. I won't always carry them with me right?"

Without any other word, I entered the library and walked towards the desk of the librarian.

Itsuki slowly followed behind me with her head hung low. She misunderstood that I was disappointed in her that's why I didn't reply to her.

I pressed the bell on the librarian desk.

A little while later, a girl with shoulder length navy blue hair, slim and tall physique appeared before us.

She was wearing the dark school dress.

"Yes?" She politely asked as she approached the desk.

"Oh? I didn't expect there to be a flower between many books." Subconsciously, my skill : flirting activated.

"W-What?" She was surprised as she didn't expect this.

"Ah, I was just sa--"

Before I could complete my sentence, I felt someone pinch my arm.

"Hmm?"

I turned to look at Itsuki, who was pinching my arms slowly.

"W-We are here to study, not for you to flirt..." She said in a low voice with a red face.

A smile crept up my face, seeing her like this. I immediately had many immoral thoughts but I quickly shook them off.

"Can you please tell us where the old test papers are kept? Ms...?" I asked to the librarian.

"I am Kamiya Ai. The test papers are kept in the third bookshelf from right end." She replied after regaining her composure.

"Thank you, Kamiya-san." I thanked her and walked towards the direction she told.

After arriving to the bookshelf, I looked at all the papers with omnipotent sight and picked the best three out of them.

Picking one of the free seat, I invited Itsuki to sit besides me.

"First of all, please solve these papers. I will assess your capabilities based on this so try your best." I handed the paper to her.

After looking at the papers for a while, she replied with a smug smile, "You are underestimating me Nanase-san. This is easy for me."

/ One hour later /

"Is this what you were proud of?" I asked after seeing her paper.

"I-I did had some problems, but it shouldn't be that bad right?"

I sighed as I handed the paper back to her.

"What?! Just 8 marks? Wasn't the test of 100 marks?!" She herself was surprised by her marks.

Did she not expect it to be so low, or was it her pride that wasn't letting her accept her score? If it's the latter, then she can possibly be teached without supernatural interference.

Buy it. I really don't have any experience in teaching.

"Would you like to check your mistakes for now, or continue on to the next subject?" I asked her.

She had just completed her mathematics set.

"I would like to review them for now."

"Then let's start with this one."

'System, upgrade my teaching skills to grandmaster level.' I said in my mind.

Immediately ton of knowledge about teaching, Cognitive Skill, Communication Skills, Emotional and Physical Health, Language Skills, Research/Information Processing Skills, and Social Skills entered my mind.

"Let's look at the question 5th. You made a simple calculation mistake here. You can correct it by doing this...."

/ 2 hours later /

After two hours, I finally explained all her mistakes and her solutions to her.

Teaching is just like the process of creating a skyscraper. If your foundation is strong enough, you can eventually reach hundreds of miles into sky. What I taught her right now, improved her foundation.

Due to a special feature of grandmaster teaching skills, every word of mine created a great emotional impact on her mind and forcefully engraved my words in her mind. If she took this test again, she would score atleast 80%.

But still...

"I can't even believe how someone so beautiful can be so stupid when it comes to studies?" I sighed while looking at her focusing on the paper.

Hearing my words, her face turned slightly red but immediately changed as soon as I finished my sentence.

"Was that a compliment or a insult?" She said with tick marks on her forehead.

"Whatever you take it as." I stood up and walked out of the library.

After I was gone, her face turned red again, this time with shame and frustration.

"After I score better marks in monthly tests, I will show you that I am just beautiful, not stupid." She got back to looking at her papers and studying by herself.

After exiting the library, I was called into the staff room by our maths teacher.

"You are Haruka Nanase right?" He asked.

"Yes, that's me."

"You have a strong grasp on mathematics according to your class performances."

"I just know what's necessary."

"Then, I would like to request something from you. Can you perhaps teach a person mathematics?" He requested me.

"Shouldn't that be your job? But whatever, who is this person?" I asked him.

"Thank you for your help. She will be here around 4:30 pm."

"4:30 pm? I would be tutoring some other classmates during that time."

"That's great. She is actually a classmate of yours. You can teach them together!!"

"That won't be much problem. What is her name?" I asked again.

"Ah! You might know her as the sleeping beauty of the literary forest. Fumino furuhashi."

Does any of you guys have pets at home?

I have a pair of rabbits. A few hours ago, the female rabbit gave birth to four kits. Can I get some advice from someone experienced?
