12 CH. 12: Demise Of a Country

Destruction spread throughout the whole country quickly as the baby goats did not stop from cashing carnage and havoc. Every living creature that'd catch their non-existing eyes would be automatically crushed to death after a few seconds.

The whole South-East part of the Falmuth Kingdom quickly turned into a wasteland formed by numerous ruines and dead bodies alongside gigantic foot peints on the ground.

The creatures did not stop as long as their summoner desired them to continue so they continued until reaching the road connecting the South-East location to the capital of Falmuth.

Akira and Testarossa were standing on top of the baby goat taking the lead. They were looking down at the mass destruction caused by every single movement done by these terrifying creatures.

Akira- "Why would we stop here? We're gathering lots of souls and in the same time having fun!" He said.

People who saw these enormous creatures would either loose hope in survival, go insane after glancing at these Outer abominations, or either flee in a useless attempt of living.

However, unlike their size, these creatures weren't that fast, their movements may be really big which makes them travel a lot faster than any human being but they still did not a high velocity. News of these creatures' apparitions quickly spread throughout the capital and the King had already mobilized some troupes and defenses ; Most of them were S-ranked adventurers and imperial knights.

Though none of them stood a chance, even with the strongest equipments and experience, it all went in vain after reaching a close distance with the baby goats.

Testarossa looked with a smiling gaze at all the futile attempts done by the soldiers to stop the baby goats, only to fail miserably and die a gruesome death soon after.

Testarossa- "We're on for a spectacle my Lord!" She said cheerfully as a joke.

Akira replied to it by a small laugh which made Testarossa sigh in relief, this was the first time she'd use such a casual tone with Akira and seeing his chill reaction confirmed that he really does see her in a different angle, other than Master and Servant.

Akira- "We have destroyed more than half of Falmuth and we're on for the capital. What do think would be good for a finishing move?" He asked her.

Testarossa smiled at her Lord's words.

Testarossa- "Let's show them Hell my Lord. I personally highly despise this country which had tricked me millennials ago. The king was greedy and did not want to pay me after assassinating his target, even though I mutilated him and his whole kingdom.. I cannot imagine this place still existing." She said with anger and an enraged face.

Akira heard Testarossa till the end and he smiled bitterly.

Akira- "If those are your thoughts then.. Let it be~" He simply said while looking at the huge fortress they're approaching.

[[Few Minutes Later]]

Reaching the capital, Akira could clearly see a big city surrounded by a huge fortress and thousands of immobilized soldiers. The baby goats did not know a limit in cruelty so they continued on their tracks until being only a kilometer away from the fortress. From the soldiers' perspective, each step the baby goats took made them seem even bigger with even clearer and more insane characteristics.

Some soldiers started soiling themselves, while others did not submit to the Outer Creations' monsterous looks and kept their guard up.

"Is it me or did they seem to stop on their tracks??" Said the Chief of the defence troop while rasing his arm to the side.

The baby goats seemed to have stopped from moving, all froze up on their track as something even more sinister approached, a humanoid figure which belonged to whom started this whole manifestation.

Akira had flew from the back of the baby goats and directed himself until reaching the fortress. He was flying while looking at the humans from up and smiling evily.

The chief of the legion quickly noticed Akira and from his godly looks it was already obvious that he was not human.

"Your looks.. You're not human at all aren't you?" He said but not expecting any answer.

The chief took his arm up in a battle stance and waited for Akira to reply.

Akira- "Kuku~ No i am not, but please move out the way because my baby goats would probably crush you down alongside the fortress if you were to remain there." He said.

The chief got mad.

"That's bluffing.." He mumbled but Akira did not seem to flinch.

Akira smiled a bit before snapping his fingers.

*SNAP*

Suddenly, the earth started shaking intensely as something seemed to move extremely fast. The soldiers looked with wide eyes at the baby goats which came running with fast speed towards them, so fast the earth looked like it was about to explode with each step.

They closed the distance in a matter of seconds before reaching the fortress which made everyone scream in terror and panic. The chief however, did not flinch and he gripped his long spear and closed his eyes preparing for the impact.

"Damn you..." He mumbled with a distressed look.

But then, suddenly.. The creatures stopped moving ; Completely frozen in place as if the concept of time stopped from existing.

The soldiers looked at the frozen abominations with disbelief.

Akira sighed.

Akira- "You have guts, I'll give you that." He said looking at the trembling chief.

"D-Does that mean--..." He said but before he could continue, Akira spoke once again.

Akira- "However, you're not really helping out soo I'll have to use [Meteor Drop] " He said taking his hand up.

"Wh-What?" He mumbled.

Akira- "Brace for impact." He said.

Akira raised his hand and then snapped his fingers.

*SNAP*

Akira snapped his fingers and the aspect of the sky immediately changed from a clear azur blue into a scarlet crimson color. Multiple debris started falling from the sky, alongside an enormous meteor which was falling down with an unstoppable speed.

Testarossa looked at the meteor with stars in her eyes.. Literally since the fire was reflecting on her eyes.

But unlike the demoness, the soldiers and everyone on the fortress, alongside the citizens close to it, looked at the meteor which was rushing towards them with confusion and terror. And before anyone of them could say anything..

*BOOOOOOM*

The huge boulder destroyed the whole entrance of the fortress and created an enormous ravine which shook the entire capital. Everyone close to the epicenter was either crushed to death, incinerated or blown away.

Akira laughed once again because he was really looking forward for this spell to be animated in the Overlord anime but instead he actually lived it.

Akira- "Haha, wasn't that a beautiful spell Testarossa?" He said.

Testarossa then looked at Akira with an overjoyed expression.

Testarossa- "It was, my Lord!" She said with enthusiasm.

The baby goats quickly penetrated into the Capital and started rampaging immediately. Akira's soul count started increasing exponentially until reaching hundreds of thousands.

Akira- "We got enough souls for all future plans Testarossa." He said.

Testarossa then walked until reaching Akira.

Testarossa- "Should we call it a day, my Lord?" She asked.

Akira nodded down in agreement.

Akira- "Yes.. But before that, let us make the finishing move." He said.

Akira then uncasted the [Shub-Niggurath] spell and the baby goats all disappeared. The city once again regained its calm and the citizen looked with joy and hope at the disappearing Outer Abominations.

Akira- "Before we leave, I'll give these people a little departure gift.. Or should I say gifts." He said snapping his fingers.

Akira spammed the [Meteor Drop] spell and the sky changed aspect quickly. The celebrating citizens quickly looked at the environment change and most precisely the sky. Rocks started falling from the sky and before anyone could react to it, shooting stars appeared up the city...
