CH. 107: A God Against His Own Creations...

Just wanted to drop this chapter because it's been a long time. Preparation is going well, thanks for asking.

Back in the anime multiverse, havoc spread across the world of Danmachi. Ever since Hades was liberated from the dungeon, the latter spread death and despair across the entirety of Orario.

Babel had fallen, the buildings crumbled and the death counts rose by a hundred every second. Hades's manifestation was equivalent to that of death itself.

*BOOOM*

Explosions occured every second due to extremely heavy masses slamming to the ground. Gigantic two hundred meter tall creatures roaming the earth freely and spreading destruction everywhere.

"GROAAAAAAAAAR!!!" This was the ferocious roar of one of the elementary titans, the Scorching Titan to be more exact.

Elementary Titans were the strongest giants existing, created by the primordial great goddess Nyx herself. They're two hundred meters tall with their bodies varying depending on the element on which they have authority.

The fours titans roamed Orario and spread destruction everywhere. Countless adventurers and soldiers had already lost their lives fighting against these invulnerable foes. The remaining fighters lost all spirite to continue.

The ones who devoted their lives to protecting Orario found themselves perishing in vain as nothing could even flicker a damage to these four abominations.

The three main Familias of Orario which are respectively the Hestia, Loki and Freya Familias had already evacuated Orario after saving the remaining survivors.

The one to inflict more destruction on the medieval city was the Scorching Titan, and his incredible abilities over fire. "Grrrrhhh..." Just his breath enough could be compared with the breath of a million volcanoes. His skin was literal rock hard obsidian with lava dipping from his shoulders. His head was a fireball with a raging skull in the middle.

*FWOOOOSH!!*

The Scorching Giant let out a flaming breath that descended on the ruins of Orario's outskirts like a flaming tsunami, it incinerated everything while hot lava was dripping from his body and turning the place to a volcano.

Just like this one giant, three other titans were turning the lively ground into literal wasteland. Hades was seeing standing on the shoulder of the Earth Titan. A tall and wide giant with skin made out of rock and stone, every step from the titan shook the world and created craters on the ground.

"Wonderful! Destroy everything titans! Spread death and chaos through this world the other gods love!" Hades ordered, which made the titans even more destructive than before, they destroyed anything they'd see and create of the scenery a wasteland.

Far away from this field of debauchery, the Familias of Orario and the survivors watched in despair as the titans destroyed their home.

Ais was getting more and more impatient, many times she tried going after them and fighting those titans but everytime she would try her friends would stop her, and when it gets too much, Loki orders her to stop seriously. There is no way they could fight those primordial creatures without a plan.

"H-Hestiaaa-chan! I brought aaaall the remaining survivors we fouund!" This woman to speak was Demeter. She and her familia just came back with the last remaining survivors. Hestia nodded in affirmation, but when she turned around she saw a very sad scene. The mood was at its lowest, Tione was crying rivers and Ais with tears in her eyes as she wasn't allow to defend her friends from the titans.

"Let's go, we're leaving Orario" Hestia announced.

The gods were startled after hearing her sentence, "W-Wait a second Hestia! W-We can't leave Orario behind! It's strictly forbidden!" Hephaestus replied.

"There's simply nothing we can do..." The red haired woman added. This sentence brought despair and sadness to everyone present. Gods were forbidden from leaving Orario, and so, they were in need of an emergency plan.

This lasted for a few minutes, the winds started blowing, getting stronger by the second. Then suddenly the sky's aspect changed from the blue azur from earlier to a bright crimson red. The clouds covered everything and electricity coursed throughout the entire misty sky.

The titans slowed down a second to look at the sky and see what was happening. Hades was dumbfounded by what's happening above his head. A sweat formed on his cheek as he wondered what's that. "What is happening...?" He asked.

Suddenly, the sky literally shattered above them. A dimensional rift formed and emitted an extremely powerful aura. A bright light was formed by this spacial rift and from it came out an unknown figure.

All you could see what a blacked out silouhette that started taking shape with each minute the light died down. And finally, everyone's gaze fell upon this mysterious outsider.

A woman, red eyes, long black hair and pointy ears. "Wow... Akira didn't lie when he said it'd be taken exactly where my titans are..." This woman was Nyx, and she really didn't expect to meet up with her Titans so early on.

"What's that in the sky?!" Loki asked, dumbfounded.

"It—It looks like a human... No, that's a girl but it's not human!" Hephaestus replied.

"Not that silly! Beside the girl!" She asked once again.

Yeah there seemed to be another creature beside the floating girl. When Hestia saw that, she immediately shouted "IT'S AKIRAAAA~!!"

"Y-Yeah! It's Akira! The god of the Nox Familia!" Hephaestus added.

Everyone felt great joy seeing Akira's return. But just after a few seconds, Akira disappeared and only Nyx was left there floating.

"Goddess Nyx..." Hades shouted. Nyx slowly descended towards the Olympian god of death.

"Huh, this universe really has a weird looking Hades. Did I really leave for that long?" Nyx remarked. After all there was a great difference between this Hades and the cocky racist god of the Underworld from Highschool DxD where she had spent her entire time.

"I expected your arrival, Nyx. Controlling your titans wouldn't have being that easy oh I was certain of it." Hades spoke.

Nyx shrugged her shoulders, "Whatever. It's me who made the elementary titans and so they obey me." Nyx lifts her hand and points towards the titans.

Her hand started glowing in a red color, "I hereby order my creations. Lythos, Hydros, Pyros and Stratos to kneel before their creator and loyally obey him totally. I, Primordial Goddess of Night and Darkness Nyx order you to recognize me as your creator." She chanted. This was a sub-skill of the [Life Creation] ability which lets her reclaim ownership over long lost creations of her.

After finishing the chant, a silence lasted for a few seconds and it seemed like it had worked, the titans stopped moving and stared down Nyx.

...

Hades smiled mischievously, "You think you can just make them obey you once again?! It's me who released them! They only obey me!!" He shouted from the mountain titan's shoulder.

"GRAAAAAAH!!" The titan roared at Nyx, an eye piercing sound that destabilized her flight in the sky.

"Wh—Why didn't my spell work?!" She shouts in shock. She couldn't believe the current situation. Did the titans lose their mind?! She was their creator and goddess! They should worship and serve her, not roar at her like that!

Suddenly, the freezing titan named Hydros swinged his hand across the air and slammed it on Nyx. The primordial goddess didn't expect to be attacked by her creation, in fact, this was the first time any of her creations would show any sort of hostility towards her.

*PAAAW!*

Nyx was thrown hundreds of miles per second and she crashed on a far away mountain. Unable to handle all that potential gravitational energy, the mountain collapsed with Nyx still inside.

Hydros walked towards the collapsed mountain, travelling hundreds of miles in single steps due to his immense height. And when he arrived there, he let out a freezing breath that transformed the ruins of the mountain to a pile of compact ice, making it a prison for the dark goddess.

"ROAAAAAR!!" After disposing of Nyx, the titans continued their rampage and destroyed everything that remained of Orario. The adventurers and citizens of the city who had seen this were shocked, slowly drowning in despair when they saw this powerful woman easily beaten by a single shot.

"Th—There's... no w-way..." A citizen said. And then...

*PEW!*

Everyone's gaze directed towards this sound which emitted behind them. And once they've seen what just happened, their faces turned into a mixture of fear and despair. "KYYAAAAAAAH!!" The people screamed when they saw this scene.

The citizen committed suicide by shooting himself with a flint knock revolver. The desperate citizens that also thought about suicides were completely taken back after seeing such a terrifying scene.

"Hahahaha!! Wonderful! That's exactly the effect I was looking for!" Hades laughed. When he just received the soul of a suicidal denizen of Orario he couldn't help laughing at his misery. The titans were by his side and no one was going to stop him.

...

Deep inside the compact mountain ruins, Nyx just regained consciousness. "Wh—What happened?!" She shouts in confusion. Suddenly, she suffered a brief headache when she remembered what happened to her.

Vains popped on her forehead. Her nails grew sharper and her pupils sharpened like that of a snake, her canines showed up from her mouth and darkness surrounded her entire body.

*KLAAAA*

The ice surrounding her broke to a million pieces. Immediately she stood up and used [Flight]. Fortunately, she stayed unconscious just a few dozen seconds. She quickly flew towards Hades who was standing on the shoulder of the mountain titan Lythos and created a dark sphere in her hand.

The distance between the two gods closed at great speed until she was only a few meters away from delivering the fatal punch.

"GRAAH?!" But sensing the presence of her ancient mistress, Hydros quickly turned 90 degrees and swinged his hand horizontally across the air.

However, Nyx this time excepted this attack and dodged it effortlessly. Noticing the worked up Nyx, Hades spoke in annoyance, "I thought you were neutralized..." She said with frowning angry eyes.

"Don't think it's that easy to beat a Primordial Goddess!!" She shouts, a black aura covering her entire body.

"Only a god can beat a god. But for a primordial, I'll need the help of the legendary elementary titans." Hades said.

"TITANS, STOP YOUR RAMPAGE AND SLAUGHTER NYX INSTEAD! SHE WANTS TO ENSLAVE YOU AND MAKE YOU HER PUPPETS ONCE AGAIN, DISPOSE OF HER WITH YOUR LEGENDARY POWERS!!" Hades shouted, a cry that grabbed all the titan's attention.

They all stared Nyx down while roaring and groaning in anger. The fight was about to start. A god against his own creations. The outcome was completely undeterminable.
