CH. 100: A World Truly No Ones Knows

[[ Unknown Location — Third POV ]]

"Damniiit I'm so bored right now!" The creature complained. It looked like a blur and blinding light but with further looks it could be distinguished as humanoid creature. A goddess to be more exact. Her appearance was otherworldly, beautiful beyond imagination. But descriptions like this were an insult to such existence, it's unfortunate how such a deity is ruined by her childish personality.

"...You complain all the time...I lost count after a decillion..." Someone else replied. This one was a teenage boy, slim in shape with a quite average appearance that tends towards savage. His face was filled with coagulated bloody scars. Five big scars scattered on his face which went back by alot of time.

"I knooow but I just wanna do something interesting for once! We tried out everything in this plane for trillions of time repeatedly! My imaginary magic is almost running out! We're running out of scenarios!" He said.

"You're a Catulhic Deity, your power is absolute and so is the number of scenarios you play..." The wounded man replied.

"I've went through sooo much it becomes harder and harder to create stuff!" He complained.

"Make so that it doesn't become hard" The wounded man replied.

"I'm too lazy." The guy said.

"Make yourself less lazy... Just think about it." He replied.

This guy who didn't stop from complaining, was called a Catulhic Deity. Let's stick with this term for now. This bored deity just kept grumbling and mumbling like a spoiled brat until the wounded man snapped.

"I'm off." He said.

"What! Take me with you wherever you go!" The deity shouted, it jumped on the man and grabbed his hand intensely, with strength that could destroy entire Realities effortlessly. But for him, this was just your average day with this Catulhic Deity.

The man started moving his arm and pushed the deity away, a sweat clear on his frustrated face, "Just... Be a bit more like him!" The man pointed towards another one of those deities.

This one was just sitting peacefully on an unrealistically comfortable couch and reading books. Likewise, he was reading one at the moment, but the thing is the book's subject and the ones he had disposed beside him were completely different in context. One spoke about non existent maths while the other was a light novel vis versa.

"Actually, I have already read every existing and non existing book for an uncountable amount of time. I need something to entertain myself with more soon..." The reading deity said.

The wounded man made a facepalm on his face. Even the wisest deity was demanding entertainment. "Honestly.....Just, see you in a millennia..." The man teleported from the dimension. The two deities were left astonished.

"Hey!" The spoiled deity called out.

"What" She received in answer.

"How about crossing out?!" She asked.

The reading Deity removed its glasses and cleaned them, taking in a more comfortable position before turning the page and finally saying a blunt 'No.'

"Oh come oon~ You're no fun!" She said.

"Don't mistake me. I'd be glad to cross over but it's impossible. We tried everything. Catulhic Deities cannot cross over to another 'place'." He replied.

"We just have to try harder! Imagine all the books you still haven't read about!" She tempted him.

"Hm. It is flattering indeed but it's impossible. Not even Outer Gods can do." He replied.

The childish deity tensed up after hearing those words. "Outer Gods..." She mumbled.

The reading Deity looked at her for a second before returning to his book.

"Let's say, that you, hypothetically, found a way to cross over. Wouldn't that create a rift that lets Outer Gods cone here to this 'place' ? And that's not all. Let me remind you that we're in the 'Nexus'. Whoever crosses to here can go anywhere, that'll be catastrophic. Worse, a existencial dismay. We cannot fight that, not even all existing gods united can face such a threat... Outer Gods crossing over..." He spoke.

New terms were being used by this god. What is exactly a 'place', what's the 'Nexus' and who are they? But one thing's for sure, this childish deity was starting to get more and more impatient.

"We're on par with them! We can just, erase them! I heard that Daemon Azathoth can't even control his main body anymore!" She said.

"I also heard there was a new one" She added.

"New what?" He asked, with a raised brow directed at her.

"Outer God silly!" She replied.

"Huh, how is that even possible?" He asked.

"Dunno... But anyway, I'll go find something to do" She said, bored out of her mind.

"Don't forget to check out for dimensional rifts. You've being slacking off alot goofy" He said.

"Who?" She asked, surprised of this new name he called her.

"I found it in this book... Nevermind that..." He said, embarrassed.

In the endless void unfamiliar to Outer Gods which was called the Outer Universe, was another one of those ridiculously unbalanced existences. His almighty name was known everywhere among those who even considered the existence of Outer Gods real.

Information about Outer Gods is a disclosed file only the highest and most powerful gods even had access to. That's because of the very far distance in both space-time and imagination separating the normal Reality, and Unreality, which can also be called the Outer Universe.

But moving on, this Outer God was Equinox, you may also know him as Akira, definitely, if you've being following up till now.

Akira was alone in the empty void, he just swayed his hands in different angles, and those simple, negligible movements contained enough imaginary power to form entire universes, it could be seeing by looking at those universal ropes that formed just by the movements of his hands.

"This is amazing..." He mumbled, the universe threats disappeared shortly after. They could be created indefinitely. Outer Gods had the entire existence as their playground, a sandbox to be doing what they wanted.

Creating a universe was as easy as destroying a reality. Outer Gods were truly omnipotent. But as mentioned before, only one thing is impossible to them. Which is crossing over.

Crossing over is the process of going from a 'plane' to another 'plane'. A 'plane' is a whole different domain, a different plane with omniverses, universes, realities, unrealities and most importantly, other deities that reign supreme over all this.

Crossing over was inaccessible to Outer Gods, because if they were to go from a 'plane' to another 'plane' it'd be beyond catastrophic, supreme deities meeting with each other and most probably fighting... But why would Outer Gods cross over if they could just create an infinite simulation of realities and existences? Why would they want to cross over to another place?... Well no one has ever thought of crossing, because it seemed useless.

"I'm here." A voice spoke behind Akira. This newly appeared Outer God was none other than Azathoth.

"You were always here... You're everywhere." Akira simply said. And it was true, no exageration included in any kind.

"You're right. I'm fucking Azathoth after all." Azathoth said pridefully. But Outer Gods weren't exactly the type of deities to express something so humanly like 'pride'. It remained just a concept created by their creations who thought have achieved something but still remaining just toys for Elderish Deities.

"I wanted to ask you about a certain pain I felt earlier... But it was ascension." Akira spoke.

"Meh, don't seem to be serious." Azathoth shrugged his shoulders and ignored this.

"I was thinking about something..." Akira said.

"I know what you think... It's impossible while I use this conscious body... It would take an impossible amount of time to do it in my main body, because the probability is very low and I lose all thinking capacity there. It's not even guaranteed that I can inhabitate that body again, it protects itself from myself." Azathoth said.

"Point is, I'm sure there must be a way for us to cross over... Unlimited possibilities are awaiting us there, we just have to find a way. Use your unlimited IQ or something" Akira said.

Azathoth facepalmed, but it was kind of expected from Akira since he's a rookie.

"It's something that far surpasses us. Something that just happened to be 'there' the moment 'we' appeared" Azathoth spoke.

"We'll just have to do our best. I'm sure it can be dealt with" Akira said.

The silence lasted for a few seconds before finally receiving a word from the Progenitor of Outer Gods. "Ask Yog-Sothoth about this. She's got enough knowledge about Exterior affairs as my main body." Azathoth suggested.

"I can see the reason you want to cross over" He added.

"Nothing, it's just something I still— we still don't know about" Akira responded.

"Yes, I'm sure there's something to get it going... I guess." Azathoth said.
