Chapter 64 :- To Past and beyond
Hiro struggling to stand took help of Mimiko and Kanako. After a lot of thinking , Jetchi created a carrier,which was nothing but 2 sticks tied together by sheet cloth , similar to a stretcher. Kanako insisted that , since Kanako and Mimiko are girls and boys should do the labour work , Mimiko on the other hand corrected Kanako, that work in the school is divided equally not based on gender but based on determination or volunteership , more like a selfless deed. Hiroshi who was still recovering from his wrist and femur injury , stated that Mimiko and Hiroshi can carry Hiro to the temple , meanwhile others can carry the supplies so that everyone can work and contribute their efforts without gender biased. After a deep thought , everyone agreed. Ryo , Jetchi carried the lantern , maps , keys , water , bag , food , flower and 4 vases of secret sake. Meanwhile Kanako carried the books and Gorosuke reading glasses. Mimiko and Hiroshi carried Hiro and they all started the hike to the top of the mountain , to their destination , The ancient Daikokuten temple.
" Where's Kazuki " asked Hiro
" I don't know , he ran off the last time everyone saw him and since then he's no where to be found." replied Mimiko
" And where's grandpa" asked Hiroshi
" He's already at the top". replied Ryo
Hiroshi coughed and took a breath
" ALREADY??? THAT OLD MAN COVERED A HIKE OF 2 HOURS IN 20 MINUTES " shouted Hiroshi
" That too without any equipment " added Jetchi
" Wow " said Hiro
After a gruesome journey , they all were at the top of the mountain. The temple was still under renovation after the last battle with Enzo. The warrior monks and village craftsmen volunteered to repair the temple and in exchange asked for the blessings and food for the day.
" Remember this stomp Hiro " asked Ryo
" Yeah , still looks so new " replied Hiro
" Yokai , oni , demons and evil spirits have a special ability. Any damage or destruction caused by them have a lingering effect as it acts as a symbol of achivement and territorial domination" said Jetchi
" Hmmm i hope everything is okay now " said Mimiko
" I have been waiting for an eternity " said a voice
" Who's there " asked Kanako
The Figure with the Tengu mask was standing at the top of the temple. He jumped down and landed infront of Hiro.
" You jumped down , but no sound , no damage anything?? how's that even possible " asked Ryo
" My animal spirit is somewhat similar to yours kid but unlike you , I am not weak , i have entire control over it " said The Figure
" By the way , what's your name " asked Hiroshi
" Glad you asked this " said The figure
" I am Able Nohara , and I am Gorosuke Nohara Son " said Able.
