Chapter 26 :- Power sake

Sun rose in a pool of crimson and gold, spilling light all over the land and the white clouds.From freezing night, it turned to scorching day as the sun climbed towards its zenith. The birds were chirping and the farmers were ploughing the fields. Ryo woke and up saw , Gorosuke was practicing martial arts and was in deep concentration.

" Good morning sensei " Ryo said

" Oh a pleasant morning to you Ryo " said Gorosuke.

" Shall I ring the bell " asked Ryo

" Yes , yes you can " said Gorosuke

Ryo started to ring the bell as hard as he could. He rang it for a total of 3 times , and then stood in front of Gorosuke.

After some time , all the students Jetchi , Kazuki , Hiroshi , Hiro , Mimiko and Kanako arrived at the ground. Gorosuke stood the porch and started to dictate:-

" Since the demon attacks are increasing day by day , it seems that the prophecy has begun.

I am afraid, that instead of calming , the incoming onslaught of demon shall increase day by day. We must prepare for the worst and get ourselves ready. From today , we all shall start a strict training regiment , that will help us fond of the demons, save the villagers and monk , and also save one another" Gorosuke took a breath and continued :-

" We shall divide our batch into 3 groups which will be as follows:-

1. Healers:- They will act as the medic and will stay at the school most of the time. They will learn spells and medicine from Mimiko to protect the monks , villagers and the injured fighters.

2. Brawlers :- The one , who will awaken his animal spirit and will be able to control thus use it to fight would be in this battalion. The strongest and the mightiest , who will fond and kill the demons will remain at the battlefield.

3. Brain :- They analyse the tactic of any war and attack. They would coordinate the brawlers and the Healers. They will communicate using animal spirits." said Gorosuke.

" Yes sensei " everyone shouted together.

" I have written all for your name on a piece of paper and kept it inside the box" said Jetchi.

" Pick your group name and all the members will form one battalion of 7 " said Ryo.

Everyone grabbed the slip and were assigned their respective groups.

" Oh god don't merge me with Kazuki " said Hiro

" Oh god don't merge me with Hiro " said Kazuki at the same time.

" Hey don't copy me " they said together

" I said stop" they said.

" Now the last group , the adventurer , pls take your slips" said Ryo

" Ryo , Jetchi you also take one slip for you " said Gorosuke.

" Yes sensei" said Ryo and Jetchi together.

Kanako , Mimiko were assigned as the Healer,

Jetchi and Ryo were assigned as the Brains,

Hiroshi , Hiro and Kazuki were the Brawlers.

" Oh no " said Kazuki.

" What , you were the jerk at the first place " said Hiro.

" Now pls don't start this all over again" said Mimiko as she sighed.

" Everyone gather in few minutes to the training room " said Gorosuke.

Everyone bowed and greeted Gorosuke as they all started to move to the training hall.

" Grandpa , why was I chosen to be the brawler , I mean I died like yesterday, I don't know how the hell I survived" said Hiro

" I didn't chose it Hiro , it chose you " said Gorosuke.

" I didn't get it " said Hiro.

" You see , your animal spirit must have either hide itself to save you or wasn't activated enough, similar to Hiroshi as he fainted after activating his Animal spirit , however" said Gorosuke

" However "?? asked Hiro

" Your animal spirit doesn't want you to have its power , because I tried to unlock the similar way I did if Hiroshi, but I couldn't sensed it , that's why I told you that you aren't the chosen one" said Gorosuke

" Wow , so am I not worthy enough of this "? asked Hiro

" Maybe not , maybe you are there is only one way to find it " said Gorosuke.

" What "? asked the group all together.

" You see , there was once a lake called the Lake of Soul, that not only rejuvenated the person but also unlock their animal spirit.

However as the time passed, the lake become unholy , absorbing all the dark and negative chakra , disrupting it's property but before it was completely disrupted , I stored some in a sake bottle" said Gorosuke.

" What , where is it " asked Mimiko.

" Even if it exists , why you didn't gave it me when I wasn't able to unlock my animal spirit" asked Kazuki.

" Because, it only works on those , who aren't able to unlock their potential or doesn't have a animal spirit , you all did , but Hiro case is a new one" said Gorosuke

" This is a trial method after all " added Gorosuke.

" So when can we go there and where is it " asked Hiro

" I hid it on the Mountain of yoni or the demon mountain " said Gorosuke

" Why are we waiting " said Kazuki

" Wait, that place isn't safe as the name suggests its full of demon , without proper training you will be killed instantly. I almost lost you all yesterday, I couldn't bear to see the same thing again " said Gorosuke.

" So what do we do now " asked Kanako

" You all will train for a month and then get the sake " said Gorosuke

" Now everyone , move to the hall quick quick quick " added Gorosuke.

Everyone went to the training hall while Hiroshi and Gorosuke started to follow them .

" Grandpa , why can't you get it on your I mean you are the strongest " asked Hiroshi

" Hiroshi , I can't change the fate , neither what's already written " said Gorosuke

" The things will go as planned by god , you and I can't change " added Gorosuke.

" Okay grandpa " said Hiroshi.
