~Background~

Have you ever imagined the world on fire. That's what I have always thought about. Being the second youngest sibling of this family or if you could even call it family. This home is so broken I sometimes think of running away all the time. Dad or even if I could call him dad is a monster in my eyes. He hurt mom so many times and Toya. He pushed him to his limits all the time, he doesn't even care that Toya get burns.

I heard before that Toya was not made to have his own quirk. That his flames were more powerful than dads, but he had fare skin just like moms. If he would ever push his limits he could burn himself and those burns would stay there forever. After dad had heard that he stopped training Toya. He didn't want him to get hurt so he moved onto me and stated training me even if our quirks weren't compatible. Toya got angry he couldn't be a hero like he wanted to be, so he would practice in secret where dad would train. I had found him one time and he had burns all over him.

I had tried to help him but he didn't let me help him he said he had to be strong. I still helped him on wrapping bandages around his burns. He wasn't mad at me he was mad he couldn't become a hero. I never wanted to be hero I just wanted to stay in the shadows of this family. He was worried for me he didn't want me to train he knew it would end up bad like it did for him, but he didn't care he wanted to be a hero and for me to be safe. He knew I didn't want to be a hero. Though that didn't stop dad for me to be a 'prodigy child'.

As time went on, Fuyumi was taking care of us. She was was everything you could ever want in an older sister to say the least. Toya was still training in secret I would still bandage his wounds he didn't mind. He would take care of both Fuyumi and I. When dad would 'train' me he would leave burn marks or sometimes scars. No one knew except Toya he would comfort me to sleep and with my nightmares. I would always sneak into his room and sleep he knew it helped me so he didn't say anything. I could see our family was shattering and I didn't want anyone to see this broken family. Dad was still looking for the perfect child while still training me.

Training was getting worse for me I could use my quirk but I couldn't use two elements at a time, but he wants me to use all my elements at the same time. He kept on pushing and pushing me. but I just couldn't. Sometimes I couldn't even stand the feeling of my family touching me thinking it was my father ready to 'train' me as in giving me a beating for being a failure to him and not being able to surpass All Might. He kept trying for a better 'prodigy child'. Natsuo was born but he was not what father wanted so he didn't do anything to him.

That was until mom gave birth to Shoto. He was what dad wanted the perfect child, he had dads powers and moms. He took him into 'training' around age five I don't entirely remember all I could remember was me blacking in and out at any moment. I had issues with my memory. One day Toya and I had snuck out of our house to go to our nearby park we had never gone to. I styed on the swings while Toya ran of somewhere. We were never aloud to go outside we were all forbidden unless dad or mom was with us so that was rarely.

While I was on the swing a little boy came up to me he had green hair and green eyes with freckles on his face. "Hi my name is Izuku Midoriya what's your name?" "It's Y/n Todoroki" "Wow cool wanna be friends?" "Sure why not." While we played a boy with blond hair came up to us and said "Hey Deku what are you doing here I know I told you to never come to this park. This is my parks got it. Well who do you have here is this also some quirk less nerd like you too Deku?" "No this is y/n Kacchan, and she is my new friend." "Hey you, you got a quirk?" "Yeah so why?" "You shouldn't be with Deku he's quirkless what a looser come with me and my friends instead of this nobody." "No." "HUH WHAT DID YOU SAY!!!" At this point my temper was starting to get riled up. To think my temper I was getting from my dad.

"I said no. Do you not know what that means. You want me to spell it out for you?! N-O!!!" He came at me using his quirk it was explosions. I moved out of the way in time and used my earth quirk to pin him down. "I said no and leave Izuku alone your just a bully nothing more. As I was done I took Izuku with me and we went somewhere else to where my brother was.

Bakugou POV

I couldn't believe it I was taken down AND BY A GIRL. Though I did like that she was able to stand up to me and not caring that I attacked her. "HURRY UP AND GET ME OUT OF HERE NOWWWWW!!" They all hurried up go take me out of this pile of dirt. I was assuming her quirk had been something like controlling the earth around her. I wanted to find her again but by the time the got me out she was already gone and I couldn't find her. If I can't find her I will wait for her to come here.

Y/n POV

I had left with Izuku to go find my brother. "Hey this might be the last time you see me so bye I hope to see you one day Izuku nice knowing you. I had left after that, I found my brother on the swings with another kid. I told him it was getting late and we had to leave so we wouldn't get in trouble. As we got in the house by sneaking in we were found with dad staring into our eyes he was so angry you could see it. If looks could kill we would have been dead on the spot.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BOTH BEEN I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU!!! YOU MISSED YOUR TRAINING NOW YOUR GOING TO GET IT!!! WHO SAID YOU CAN LEAVE YOU KNOW THE RULES. WHO'S IDEA WAS IT!!! WAS IT YOUR TOYA OR YOUR Y/N!!!" I was so scared for my life I felt like I was going to die, but I didn't want Toya to get in trouble. "It was me I forced Toya to come with me. He said no but I still forced me. He kept trying to bring me back but I forced him to stay with me. He had nothing to do with it. It was all me don't blame Toya please..." I had gone on my knees and begged him.

He seemed to believe me. He left Toya alone and dragged me to the training room. I knew I had messed up and I couldn't escape this so I gave in and let him give me my punishment.
