Flashback 14

"Welcome back, dear Aidan."

He frowns upon hearing that dark, emotionless voice. Who was that speaking to him? What has happened? Where was he? Why does it hurt so? He doesn't want to awaken, but he can feel an impounding sense of doom hanging over him heavily.

It was painful to receive memories spanning centuries. It bears down on the person. 

Aidan was gasping hard, his head was a pounding mess and he was bewildered from the onslaught of strange memories that were pressing at his frontal lobe. It hurt to think and it was very difficult to understand what was happening when he was suspended in the air. However, he knew that was finally … him.

Centuries of memories that belonged to him, made him whole once more. He was finally the Aidan that he knew, the Celestial Emperor who fought her Master once upon a time, stripped of his memory and power. Once a mere mortal, he is finally the being he is supposed to be. But it does not come without sacrifice.
