Aidan Syafiq's face reflects a complex mix of emotions as he gazes at the familiar scene before him. Passing the spot where he and Athena had watched countless sunsets together four hundred years ago, nostalgia hits him like a punch to the gut. That nostalgia quickly morphs into a gnawing dread, spreading through his chest as they trudge up the mountainside to the flattened summit where he and Athena had once been held against their will.

Damon noticed the varying expressions on Aidan's face but chose not to breathe a word. He knows the place they were standing at brought him a lot of pain but he made a choice to keep quiet as he knows there was no point in stating the obvious.
