His Angel was just one of the myriad reasons he found himself lingering in this realm, where the boundaries of fate seemed more like suggestions than strict rules. He chafed against the constraints imposed upon him by the laws of the three realms, feeling suffocated by the notion of being bound by destiny. 

To him, those who obediently followed the predetermined path laid out for them were nothing more than puppets, devoid of free will and agency.

He despised the complacency of those who resigned themselves to the whims of fate, content to drift aimlessly through the currents of life without ever daring to challenge the status quo. And yet, despite his vehement opposition to the concept of predestination, there was one particular soul who had managed to captivate his attention.
