Angel Fall's

Man dies and gets reincarnated into medieval Europe. Using his knowledge of the future he seeks to become rich and powerful a man that history will remember. But there is a problem and that is that this is not the same Earth of his past but a totally different fantasy version of Earth. Seeing as it is a fantasy earth he also tries to obtain magical powers and hopefully immortality as he conquers the world. Will he succeed, well come and find out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is something I came up with after playing too much Total War: Warhammer 3. This story contains other elements also. Things from the real world and fantasy, like star wars and diablo. And maybe Halo as well later on. But mostly inspired by Warhammer and games I play. Can you guess what games? Also small warning: This story is pretty dark and messed up at first. But it gets better later on I promise. Like, maybe after 50 chapters or so. The First part of this, hopefully long series of books set in this world is just an introduction to the world and its setting. The angels will fall later, Literally. My hope is to write this series that lasts for a long time. For such a long time, that eventually the world will leave behind swords and pick up guns. And later on, humanity will move to the stars and take what is rightfully theirs. By whos right? Well, their gods given right.

Chapter 2 Plan's at the table of 3

It was Early in the morning as the sun rose to shine its light on the small coastal town of Segres. Near the port of the town stood a medium-sized medieval two-story house with a small white fence and a beautiful modest garden. Like the garden the house was also quite beautiful and elegant. It was built out of white stone and fine wood. Though mostly the first floor was built of stone and the second of wood.

Marino his father Jesus and mother Mary were having breakfast. The family sat there in silence due to Mary's Zealous beliefs of having to be silent while eating. Though Jesus did not agree with this, they still enjoyed their modest breakfast without complaint.

Sitting at the table Marino was quite pleased with the selection of food his family had. There was cabbage, olives and other vegetables also since they were next to the sea there was lots of fish on the table. And in the basement storage room of their house.

Apparently, Mary kept sheep around the house and treated them like her own children. But once they came of age it was up to Jesus to butcher them, so the table also had a decent amount of meat.

Though all was not right, Marino frowned and watched his family. After saying a few words in thanks to this worlds version of god they started eating. Confused he watched the food on the table as they ate it. To his surprise, all he could see were ingredients for different foods on the table and nothing else. There was truly nothing special about this food. While Marino was happy about the fact that he could eat true natural and pure food, it did not help. Because apparently, Mary did not know how to cook or just decided not to. All the food on the table was being eaten separately and not combined into anything.

Marino was truly offended by this lack of cuisine. Even in the freaking navy, the chefs would put more effort into their meals. At the bare minimum, she could have made a sandwich, he thought.

With this thought Marine grabbed the large bread knife on the table and started slicing the meat the bread the fish and lastly vegetables. Then with great speed and precision of a US Navy Lieutenant, he mixed them together. With ease, he had just created a big fat juicy sandwich.

With drool, haste and gusto he dug into the sandwich, moaning like a woman in heat as he did so. It was truly a heavenly sandwich. There were absolutely zero added chemicals or environmental pollution in it. It was a truly 100% fresh and natural sandwich.

Hearing Marinos lustful sounds of pleasure Jesus was shocked and Mary was furious as she said.

"Marino remember your manners! If you don't behave yourself and stop those indecent sounds right now! I swear this will be your first and last meal of the day! And stop playing with your food."

Marino was shocked at his mothers harsh words and Jesus was intrigued by his son. As the room returned to silence Jesus spoke to Marino with a questioning tone of voice.

"My son, what is that that you made? Is it good? For I have never thought of combining such things together."

Marino did not even think about it as he looked at the sandwich and answered quickly, fearing his mother's wrath.

"ohh this? Well, it's just a sandwich as all."

Jesus's looked at Marino with concern as did Mary as Jesus spoke.

"A Sand Witch? What do you mean a sand and witch? Why would you call it that? Where did you even learn of such a thing? It was that traveling hag that came through this village last week wasnt it? What poisonous words did she whisper in your ear? Speak boy."

With these words, Marino froze and realized something. Oh yeah, we are in the medieval age. Thinking back to Marino's memories he remembered that in this world there are supposedly real witches. Because of this, there are also dedicated witch-hunters and the Inquisition. Also, sandwiches are not yet invented here. Sandwiches and Witch were too similar and in this superstitious time he didn't want to cause a misunderstanding. With this thought, he knew he would have to come up with a proper explanation.

"Wait sandwich what do you mean father? I definitely did not say that. You are putting words into my mouth. I think you just misheard me. I said it's Colombo bread my new invention."

Jesus and Mary looked at each other in confusion. Though the boy sounded convincing they both knew he was full of shit. But as his parents, they would let it slide this time. Jesus shook his head and sighed saying.

"Fine fine I will not press you on this matter. But I am happy to see my smart son already coming up with new Inventions at such a young age."

Mary also tried to lighten the atmosphere by complimenting Marino on his invention.

"Well, that is quite the invention. Could you let me try some of it?"

Marino just smiled and then cut his sandwich into three slices, and let his family try it too. The sandwich was one of humanity's greatest inventions In his opinion. John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, invented the Sandwich in the past but now he has done it.

With this, they all bit into their sandwiches and out of instinct moaned in pleasure. Mary blushed as Jesus got stiff seeing her reaction and Marino was pleased. Embarrassed Mary scoffed and said.

"This is truly magnificent. To think that such a minor change would have such a big impact. You are a true little genius Marino, good job.

Maybe you should become a chef and spread this tasty invention to others in town. You clearly have a natural talent for this."

Jesus turned to look at Mary and frowned, not being stiff anymore after hearing the woman's words as he commented.

"Absolutely not! Who is gonna take over the dockyard and build our town's ships if not Marino? I refuse to share my skills with any other, than my own blood and that is final."

Seeing that a fight was about to break out, Marino decided to intervene.

"Calm down you two. I am sorry Mother but Father is right I will become a great shipbuilder and an explorer. But, mother is also right. There is a great opportunity here."

After realising what potential the invention of sandwiches had Marino had decided to make use of this. He would build the world's first sandwich shop and call it SubColombo after a famous sandwich shop of his past. With this, he could build a great business empire and become filthy rich. With these funds, he could independently fund the exploration of the new world and beyond.

Unlike Kolumbus of the past who was poor and had to wait years upon years to get permission and funding from the crown to explore the new world. Marino Colombo could do it much faster maybe in the next 4 years even. Once he turns 16 and becomes an adult he could instantly set off to his homeland of the past.

Jesus and Mary sat there in silence at the dinner table listening to Marino's plans on creating a sandwich shop. Of course in order to please Jesus, Marino explained how he could do both professions without sacrificing his shipbuilding education.

Marino had learned a lot from his past life when it came down to managing a fast food place. While he had never worked in such a place, due to his lazy nature of doing things the easy way attitude. He had watched many internet videos about it and at least believed that he knew the basics. All he needed was a loyal and obedient manager, who would get modest pay and keep the other lower-income workers in line. The key to his business plan was the manager.

In his mind all that really mattered was the manager the rest could be cheap labor consisting of young children. The younger the better. Their young and bright appearances would attract customers and they would be much easier to deceive into accepting a shit income with hopes of maybe getting a raise. Of course, by the time they would be ready for a raise in pay, they would be fired for some reason or another. Because at the end of the day, all that matters is the customer's happiness and money.

This being a medieval world also helped since there were no labor laws. If the boss says you are fired or you are not getting paid then it is so and there would be nothing they could do about it.

After hearing these ideas Jesus was stunned. He put a hand on Marino's shoulder and spoke.

"You, my boy. You truly are a true genius. Always remember this, one does not become rich with charity and kind words but with actions and unwavering determination."

Mary was just happy sitting there quietly watching the father and son duo talk and laugh like true greedy masterminds. As time went on and Mary had already started to clean up the dirty table, the father and son duo were still talking and hammering out the fine details in their business plan.

After breakfast, Jesus decided to leave Marino with a bag of silver and copper coins so he could start his first enterprise with his mom. Mary was not happy about using low-paid child labor for profit but Marino had assured her that the work would not be hard. The children would work two six-hour shifts. Either a morning or a day shift 5 days a week. The children might face a burnout but they should last long enough to turn a good profit.

Now they just needed to find the right place and people in order to get started.
