"Stupid Adel, you hear me? I said you don't have to fight 'em demons head on. Just be my support!"

"OK, I hear you, but..."

As I was looking into the rear mirror, seeing Leo's irritated expression, I just had to suppress my desire to say anything stupid like Is it too late to resign now? deep deep down, I knew how he would react to such a wimpy saying.

Still, feelings are much harder to control than actions, my fear was pretty much present, when the kitty boy started doing this *sniff sniff* thingy with his nose, I knew right away what he was going to say next...

"Did you just get scared again, you shrimpy Adel?!"

"Sorry... Can't help it."

My finger began scratching my own neck, at some point, I thought of covering it with my palm, in case the lion felt like asking for my blessing, but then I realized... I had no wings, which simply means I would never be able to escape from the lion's grip anyway.
