48 Chapter Nine (Part 7): Solar Tempest

It took me almost 5 minutes to process all of that, really...

"I..." And I didn't really know what to say, standing in the middle of these clouds and nothingness, knowing that I had been summoned (?) to Heaven to hear what they had just said, everything just felt so unreal.

At first, I genuinely thought that this meeting would be like... I came here to make a vow that I'd be loyal to the deity, and work my ass off for them or something. To say that I'd treat it like a family meeting would be a total excuse for me to be sarcastic.

But...

There, it really felt like a family meeting, with me and the dads - the angel dads.

'Dear Adel? Are you still in shock?' When that soft voice of Archangel Michael rang up, somehow I could feel a strange surge of warmth flowing through my chest. Such words filled with tenderness, they felt so familiar yet so distant, I felt like I had once heard something like that before, since many years ago.
